Pretty excited for tomorrow's Smash Direct just like the rest of you. I'm low-key hoping Chocobo somehow makes it into the game~

I know we are just about 12 hours until the Direct and we are mad with hype but I do have a favor to ask everyone.

As many of you know, I’m an English teacher in Japan and teach at elementary and junior high schools. I was given a massive room to transform into the schools official English room to conduct our classes in and the principal asked me to make some fun decorations. So I’ve been making tons of banners and stuff. Flags dropping along string across the room. Some carnival like games using English. Stuff like that. We have a huge demonstration lesson on the 27th I believe where over a hundred teachers will be coming to watch the class.

Anyways, I am thinking of making an alphabet poster with a Nintendo theme since nintendo is currently in and Sumabura (Smash bros in Japanese) is extremely popular.

So like (M is Mario) type of deal. Or E is for Eevee. So not only Smash related but Nintendo related. No 3rd party characters. Items and locations are also good too. Anyone wanna try filling these out for me?

If Ken is fake i'll be 8x more impressed than I would be if the grinch leak is fake honestly.

There's barely a chance the Ken leak from some time back is fake.

...But I still think he's 100% in, really. He's an obvious inclusion. And it's far easier to get him in right away considering Ryu is base roster and all. A lot of echoes were likely agreed upon really early on as is. Richter was most likely started very soon after Simon was. We don't know exactly why he became one(one guess is Sakurai couldn't secure a lot of Belmont designs, so he only had two. And then split them up since it was basically Richter and Simon using each other's moves anyway).

Undertale is nothing compared to EarthBound, let alone Mother 1 or Mother 3. (I contend even now that Mother 3 is one of the few video games that constitute both video game and true artistic experience, and I will die with those words on my lips)

Pro tip: when looking for music to play when handing out candy just play Castlevania music. ****'s fire and fits the theme of Halloween perfectly. It actually made me wonder though, why didn't Sakurai save the Belmonts for the Direct that's the day after Halloween? Would've fit really well.

idk man Mother 3 is like the only game in the Mother series whose gameplay seems fun to me. For the life of me, I can't get behind Earthbound's battles.
