Yes of course.
You can make the image look like **** using compression.
But the color wont change.
If you have RED, it will turn in to a **** Red! But it will stay Red.
You can't compress Red and get a Blue.
Or compress black and get a green.

So if this AT claim is true.

My bets on the assist go to:

Issac: I know there's a lot going towards him being in, but at the same time he was an assist in the past so it could happen again. Not that I think it should, but it might.

Chorus kids: It makes sense for the last of Gematsu to be in, but at the same 4 characters in one could also make a unique assist gimmick. Like maybe the conductor leads them from the background and the chorus stand in the center stage admitting sound base attacks. Sort of like barbara but with more range and a bigger twist.

Those are the likliest imo. The echos are safe as are third parties.

And I think Mach rider is safe because we always get a retro and I find it unlikely mach rider would be a assist over a retro rep.

I think it’s between Chorus Kids and Mach Rider. Sakurai knows Isaac is highly requested. If he was just going to return as an AT I think he’d already be shown. I think that’s why Shadow is playable as well. Skull Kid may be a boss and that’s why his hasn’t been shown yet.

If Banjo is in I can’t see him being an AT either just because Sakurai wanted him in Smash 64. I don’t think he’d go through the trouble of getting his rights and not make him playable.

Chorus Kids were cut in Smash 4 apparently so I think they edge out Mach Rider to be playable.

I want all of them to be playable though and I’d be really excited to see Mach Rider as a character.
