I am still not quite convinced there was a reason the assumed fake leaker put the empty mural in his leak. Even if nobody knew that the empty mural existed and was shown at E3, I just do not understand why showing an empty mural would increase the plausiblity of the leak.

If you are planning a fake leak and you went through the effort of reconstructing the whole empty mural, fill it with all confirmed and the leaked characters why show your faulty background? I mean, his renders are that good that nobody was able to prove that they were there before the leak for four whole days. I just don't see the advantage of showing your faulty background in this scenario.

It just don't make sense to me (all this could be nothing but for me, this is a weird thing about all of this.)

whats up guys, I was just thinking of Pokemon in smash... and there HAS been a new Pokemon character or 2 every single smash game, except for Ultimate.

I'm wondering why you guys think that is? Could it be cause there are already too many and we got PKMN Trainer, Pichu, etc back?

Its hard to say honestly. One could say 'Bringing back PKMN Trainer is a nod to PLG since it is first Gen on Switch'

Others could say "But they ALWAYS had a PKMN rep in every new smash game, why break the mold?"

Though, Ultimate is breaking expectations. We saw that with patterns being broken (June E3, August and October for a Direct), Fan Favorites being put in (K. Rool and Ridley)

Its hard to say what will happen.

Ok, so which takes the least amount of assumptions:

A. Eric Bricard took the leak with his snapchat profile, that's why his name is on there.

B. A person looked up a company which printed out media for gaming companies, the found Eric Bricard's name, they made a new fake snapchat account under that name, got a sizeable enough number of followers for his post to get noticed, made the fake leak, and took a video of it on snapchat... all in the span of like a couple weeks.

Do you see now why Occam's Razor is so handy? Because your scenario is ABSURD.

And again, the simplest answer isn't always the right answer.

A. Someone associated with Nintendo leaked Rayman online.

B. Someone recreated the entire CSS, made unique models of characters from scratch, reanimated the background, and somehow made a video of him literally selecting the "Smash" mode from Smash Wii U's main menu and selecting Rayman on the screen just so people would believe a single character got in.


Occam's Razor can make people who view the situation differently look insane, but it doesn't provide any true evidence to support your claims. It's not doing anyone any good.

If this leak is real, people are gonna act like Verge never had any credibility in the first place.

I don't buy the theory that this is a bracelet. Bracelets are not one-size-fits-all. Which is why the design is commonly done like this:

So you can size the bracelet so it fits around your wrist.

The alternative theory, the one I believe, is that this "bracelet" is actually intended to be the design that wraps around the overhead display seen in the first photo. This means the design is not printed to scale.

OK...we all know that everyone is divided when it comes to do we believe this is real or not, but what if we phrase the question differently:

Do you WANT this leak to be real or not? No facts, no proof, no debunking. If these were the final 7 newcomers, would you be excited?

I genuinely don't mind either way. The only character in the leak I genuinely want is Shadow, and regardless if this is fake or real, I think he's going to be in.

If real? We have a lot of new and interesting additions that are both excellent for diversity and provides characters and representation the fanbase has been wanting for over a decade. That itself makes me want this, of course!

If fake, I still won't mind. I've gotten newcomers I wanted in Chrom and Inklings. Plus, it'd mean Skull Kid, my number one want, has a shot still.

Then begs the question, would sacrificing these great picks be worth it for the chance my want could be in? Is being selfish better than being supportive? Nah, so I hope it's real for the sake of a huge portion of the fan base getting dream characters.

I would be absolutely happy if these were the final 7. Mach Rider would scratch my itch for another retro rep, Geno would complete the Ridley-K. Rool-Geno trinity, and Shadow would knock one of my childhood wants off the list. While I don't care too much for Isaac or Banjo Kazooie, I'd still be happy for their fans, for sure. (It sweetens the deal if the leakers are right about another two-character trailer which I'm almost certain will be Incineroar and an echo Pokemon!)

That being said, I still can't really believe it.

Speaking of Mother 3, I feel like it will happen. Mother 3 localized has been requested for so long. Nintendo likes to appeal to their fans ( Smash Ultimate and an upcoming Animal Crossing Game. ). Mother 3 localized will inevitably happen I feel like.

Also speaking of Smash Ultimate, the Grinch Leak and stuff make Geno the most likely character.

You see that big white rectangle? That's common on many of the sticky variants of those bracelets. I believe there's more bracelet underneath the paper, where the sticky part is.

It's a internet drug, to be honest it was hard for me to quit posting (I used to fool around there and sometimes hijack threads for fun) there but after I seen how heavenly this place is in comparison I decided to quit posting there cause I was sick of the endless amount of negativity on there.

I mean they are still hating on Corrin for crying out loud...
