Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

SpawnWave thinks that a character is going to be revealed at the VGAs, they've kinda given hints it'll be Sora. He also thinks a character that isn't incineroar is missing from the mural.
An insider at some KH leak site says that they think a character is missing from the mural as well.

I am about 90% team real, the last 10% being I cannot be totally one way without confirmation, that's the skeptic in me.

On a very basic level, the idea that somebody likely carelessly revealed the information seems much more likely than a full on conspiracy where one person or a group of people went out their way to form a very elaborate fake that lined up with so much other information.

Not to mention all the attempts at debunking seem like grasping straws nitpicking minor things you can hardly see in a blurry photo. It all seems like people trying to find something wrong, which you can always do if you try hard enough.

Okay- I compared it with the Bundle Box of the 3ds and it's the same copyright as the 3ds box game.

But we know Camelot is in the game already; Waluigi is a Camelot character.

To put it simply - ASSUMING grinch leak is real, There is NO reason at all to put a Microsoft trademark on the special edition console box. Banjo isn't on the box! Everyone else whos trademark is there IS on the box.

Or, ya know, wait for official confirmation/deconfirmation rather than copyright info that has been demonstrated not to have fully reflected what's in the game? This is bringing back memories of people nitpicking the copyright info from the E3 demo.

Dude too late we already disproved that point. The developers of Earthbound aren't on Smash 3ds' packaging and Ness is in the game.

This **** only makes this even more confusing and it doesn't make sense, if you ask me.

Wouldn’t the secret character copyright fall apart for this game sense every character that requires additional copyrights except Kirby and Pikachu is unlockable?

I don’t think the copyrights are the best form of attack regardless, but w/e.

I was looking at the comments on that video, and someone raised an interesting point.

"The one big thing that makes this leak debatable is one detail that is forgotten. Why hasn't Nintendo done everything to rid of all the evidence? When the esrb leak happened, they acted fast, caught the guy and punished him and did their best so no one could have the image."

I'm not aware if they've done that for this leak, have they? There doesn't seem to be a massive takedown on Youtube videos like that one or anything.

To be fair, none of this has made sense since yesterday, given the holes in both sides. I feel like either it being real or fake will inevitably make me question reality.

Ness wasn't on the 3DS box, they probably only have the copyrights for that reason.
While there's no third party characters on the bundle box, it's assumed that there is a download code inside with them on it.
