The problem here is that a lot of the leads are based on this company working with both Namco and Illumination, which is where the Grinch evidence comes from.
Now this new company doesn't list its partners but I have the feeling we're all about to drag another company's name through the dirt for no reason.

Well THAT is something.

My source still told me that their Microsoft Source:

and that the Microsoft Source that "heard about the characters beforehand also heard inceneroar, so they are trying to figure out what happened to inceneroar or if he was just leak bait or what. "

Those are the exact quotes from what I was given, and yes I do still trust this source is credible.

I'll try and see what they think now that the company here is denying involvement and this "eric bricard" has apparently not worked for them for years.

I bring it back to my original theory.
The guy works at Marina PLV, but used someone elses' name in case he got caught. He used someone he knew used to work for the company because he thought that there wouldn't be repercussion if something happened.

I'm so ****ing confused right now. For me, the strongest point of evidence against this leak are the VERY NOTICEABLE background changes everyone seems to be ignoring. Now, there could be a logical explanation for why this is a thing: perhaps Sakurai made multiple fake backgrounds for promotional art in case things leaked, so nobody would believe leaks?

But then again, if something like this leaked at all, WHAT WOULD BE THE POINT IN HIDING IT ONLY TO REVEAL IT A FEW WEEKS LATER? Either way, people are gonna go, "huh, so the leak WAS real." It's not worth it.

I just don't get it, man.

The thing that sucks about all of this is that if this is a completely fake leak, it’s the greatest of all time. It’s also probably going to kill hype going into the game if any of those characters aren’t in.

Sooo, there’s that. I myself will still be freaking out that hey, Smash Ultimate is coming out within 2 months! But it will hurt that Isaac, Banjo, and Shadow and the others got shut down this close to release.

I feel like Nintendo should just flat out say it’s fake. If it is, of course.
