Guys, the space behind Bowser Jr., in the official mural, may be different from the E3 background-

Yup, the cloud is definitely not there in the official banner. Additionally, the area in the background where Robin is sitting is entirely different too, even if shifted to the right slightly (the rock formation is much smaller on the official banner than in E3's and the leak's).

Should tell people that these posters definitely even change their backgrounds.

Basically: We can't use a different background as a means to debunk the leak. The official banner is different from the E3 one in terms of background.

Also vaanrose , your point G (and probably B) is actually on the leak if you look a little closer, its just the dark and light colors are melding together there due to the poor quality of the image, but I can see individual objects like you circled on the both the leak and the E3 pic if you look hard enough.

Anyway, time to retire for the night. Whatever happens, I hope it doesn't linger and gets supported or disproven in the next few hours. This leak has practically killed my day lol I can't let it happen again.

I feel like if this is true then Incineroar must either be DLC or leaker bait (and honestly probably the latter since Gen 8 is approaching)

Why else not have him in promotional material with literally everyone else?

The Chorus Kids have always been speculated but never has the conductor been brought up in the conversation. Idk folks, the attention to detail is really not something to laugh at.

Don't normally post about myself like this, but anyone posting comment recently on videos on my old videos I made for Brawl speculation 11+ years ago when I was on hella meds after my partial liver failure in a time I couldn't remember and honestly doing all that and posting here kept me kinda sane and is how I remember much of that time (and I wouldn't want to because much of it was physically hell for me; no worries now, my health is amazing ATM, all is well that ends well!) of when I was 16... hi!

Really Love reading those comments and all the crazy thoughts haha. It gives off some weird nostalgia for those times even if they weren't exactly... ideal times in my life (kinda made me more nostalgic for my progress as a person TBH).

Might do another for DLC just to satisfy you wild folks commenting on all I got right (and none of you for flaming me for forgetting Olimar, which still upsets me I forgot all these years later lol). Got a lot of thoughts on characters and the likes and picks that a lot of people seem to overlook I think that people would like to hear.

Steve, maybe, but Incineroar and most other Gen 7 Pokemon (if the leak is fake) will be completely forgotten by next year when Gen 8 is officially revealed. No way they'll put in what's old and busted over the new hotness.

Unless he was already planned to be dlc, and will be released in Spring when gen 8 will probably have just been revealed. That is of course assuming he isn't base roster, which is still a possibility.

You can keep dreaming, but Incineroar's not dead.

The characters are unfortunate scapegoats for Vergeben. Everyone just hates Vergeben and the Box and what they did to Smash speculation/the attitude Vergeben has had towards skeptics. At this point they don't want them to be wrong because they hate Incin or Steve so much as they just want stupid crap like the Box Theory and the Vergeben worship to die off so we can go back to being excited instead of arguing all the time.

If Incin gets in too, everyone will be happy with it. But him not getting in means we get to shame Vergeben off the web for being an ****** about everything, calling people autistic, and rudely shutting down everyone who questioned him in ruthless ways. The dude is an abrasive prick and deserves to be wrong. Poor Incineroar just gets stuck in the middle because at this point, a lack of Incineroar means we can ignore Verge entirely, as we should be doing already.

While Vergeban + Box Theory did exaggerate the issue, both Steve and Incineroar had notable hatebases even before Vergeban opened his mouth. Incineroar had a negative stigma due to being another fire brawler that got carried over from the Pokémon fanbase, and when that mixed in with moveset speculation that caused a lot of Smash fans to see him as redundant and thus boring and unappealing. As for Steve, he has the negative stigma from being associated with Minecraft, which has a notable group that despises it along with his design not being appealing. The situation around those characters has always been vitriolic and it always sucked to see a conversation about them devolve into insults just because people couldn't stand seeing a character they didn't like get in.

Also, you're acting just as bad as you're accusing Vergeban of if your first thought for Incineroar/Steve not getting in isn't sympathy for the fans who had to put up with a lot of crap, but to also throw insults and plan to run someone off the internet.

I did not even notice the conductor until it was pointed out.

I think that's fair, but I also want to know why it would get significantly worse between it's showing at E3 and the supposed "final version". That's usually not what happens when artists have more time to change stuff. The castle is the most jarring one.

I still think they were cut because of the 3ds. They are 3 or 4 characters together and it's likely the conductor will be in the background like Pokemon Trainer as well.

Worse is subjective. You are looking at a poor, roughly 100p image with as little detail is possible. We don't know how good it actually looks because everything is merged and muddled.

Oh man this has the potential to crash and burn worse than any Smash leak up to this day.

If people get disappointed, or outright angry with Sakurai or the game because the leak is fake and we're indeed only getting 2 more characters, i'm going to be so pissed. Remember that anything that happens is your own damn fault.

Even if all of this turns out to be fake, it will still have been a fun ride (better than circlejerking vergeben and the Box Theory for the millionth time), and Smash Ultimate will remain one of the best games of all time.

here ya go for you people , i also edited the main leak , if you did not notice it is 3 still shots put badly toggether i tried to line them up and also rotated the little one as well , i tougth i saw skull kid near bowser and yoshi ? but just my eyes playing tricks i guess.
