Is Incineroar in alongside another character?

One prediction he has that's his biggest is Sora from Kingdom Hearts. Another would be Rex and Pyra from Xenoblade 2, but those are two he thinks are the most "realistic guesses."

But the fact theres ONE MORE CHARACTER WE DON'T KNOW is insane.

What's interesting is the leak is missing at least one character, so it could be fake or timed for a certain release with certain reveals.

The Springman leak didn't even bother to know how lighting rendering actually works in Switch games and had one of the most choppy animations anyone has ever seen, and everyone called it fake as soon as it popped up. Please don't act like it was ever any good, you give these Artsy Omni wannabes too much credit.

And ya give Artsy Omni to much credit as a competent artist

-Didn;t animate the menu properly

-Didn't bother to change the Rayman model AT ALL


I mean for the time it was great but people ARE BETTER THAN HIM.

Now does Springman Jump that high? NO

I'd say it's pretty dang unlikely that any of the mural characters are DLC. My best guess is that either these aren't the final reveals and this is just marketing material for one event (in which case damn son) or this is the final rosters and the rest of the characters are going to be announced soon after as DLC, but that doesn't fit Sakurai's stated MO.

So hum... The editor of VG247 and Owner of RPGSite, so, a game journalist- think that the leak is fake because of what he thinks with some source at Nintendo, and that it doesn't Match-up with what he knows

If he had actual info, he'd know for certain it's fake. Not be suspicious, and "hope it was true." He has not credibility in light of things outside of his own opinion. His credentials as a journalist don't give him any more weight than anyone else.

Considering that this mural leak is likely real, and those 7 are here first, id assume Incineroar is at least DLC followed by someone like Sora.

The claim is we've never seen the back of his head, we've surely seen the front.

However, that argument in favor was always lame. It's very likely this guy does work at this advertising place--doesn't mean he couldn't also fake this.

Why do you guys follow leakers like this? You realize that the leaking is a way to drive publicity/views to their channels right? This is all part of their internal marketing... Do not buy into things people say during hot leaks because they know they can catch attention and monetize the views.

I really like how Derrick of GameXplain argues against the leak by saying "it's blurry, so it MUST be fake".

Virtually every leak looks like it was a Zapruder film, Derrick! It's an universal law.

But, the ESRB Leak was blurry as hell, too. And that showed the whole base roster.

Look, I know people will automatically go "fake", but most of the time, any leak dies a quick death due to either somebody confessing they did it for fun, or it's revealed that it was an asset flip with some mistakes during the editing process.

The fact that this one hasn't died already and that the sources line up for it to be legitimate illustrate that this could be as legitimate as you could get. And, the magnitude of this reveal that has happened on the Internet will only fuel this more.

Edit: Anyway this can be neither confirmed or denied at this point, but at this point I lean on any leak that would discredit box theory cuz box theory being bs is all that can be stated with certainty.

So, Spawn Wave says there are a few characters, or at least one missing from the leak. It appears he doesn't deny this leak completely. So maybe this leak still has some merit to it?

Well, didn't want to add unnecessary fuel to the fire but, as others have brought up, there is a chance that this was deliberately left incomplete. Keep in mind that Sakurai somehow pulled off the small miracles of keeping Bayonetta, Cloud, and K.Rool complete secrets until they were revealed. After the ESRB leak, Sakurai seems to have developed a knack for failsafes.

I've been following this new leak on Twitter all this morning and man, the reasons people are presenting to try and say it's fake remind me waaaaay too much of the ESRB leak stuff for Smash Wii U and how people took the smallest little thing (that was created due to the blur of the ESRB leaks or just because a character has similar appearance to someone else, etc) to try and discredit it.

-Overworld (Microsoft deal would be getting Banjo as a character but other Minecraft representation through a stage and maybe assist and item as well)
-Rhythem Heaven stage
-Super Mario RPG stage
-Venus Lighthouse
