Okay fellas let's discuss the worst mainline Pokemon games

It's the guy who claimed Monster Hunter would replace Mega Man because of sales, that third parties don't impact sales, that Odyssey wwould fail to sell as well as BotW and the guy who had a conspiracy theorist as their avatar who screamed "BLACK PANTHER IS ACTUALLY A MOVIE ABOUT HOW ANTI IMMIGRATION IS GOOD FROZEN IS PROPAGANDA WHY DID WONDER WOMAN NOT KNOW SHE'S HOT HER ACTRESS IS A MODEL THE DEATH STAR IS SYMBOLIC FOR THE WELFARE STATE" and more

This leak has very strong, convincing evidence and all the naysayers have extremely weak arguments. Things I've seen against it are...

Shadows are wrong. Best argument against it, albeit still weak. The shadows have been changed multiple times and picture is blurry so shadows could be hard to see.

The picture is blurry. It was taken from a Snapchat video so not surprising, and even the esrb leak was rather blurry. Hardly disproves anything.

Too many characters. Literally no real reason to say that other than having formed their own preconceived notions on what could be revealed in what period of time. There are no rules to this.

Too good to be true. This game has seemingly been all about fan service and this supports that.

Meanwhile, the evidence for it seems to be piling up. You have a real guy working at a real company that would potentially have access to the materials. There are never seen renders of characters including the Grinch in the background. Not to mention it would make the css match up perfectly.

It's not. They actually deleted the tweets.
Everybody knows the only real Smashified render is the Shrek render.

I just wanted to let you guys know, it is not an armband.

It's a concept for a promotional "hanger," which are cylindrical vinyl banners that form a circle and hang above event spaces. It would wrap around the frame that hangs it from 4 points.

So we know the dude exists, works at a real company, which works with another company(? not quite as sure on this detail), that works with Nintendo, and that we're seeing tons of things like Greninja's tongue which we haven't seen before.

All of that lines up.

What doesn't line up is the shadows on the bottom of the artwork (although that could have just been an oversight on Nintendo's part) and just the overall fuzziness/bluriness of the photo. Not to mention it *could* have just been 'shopped by someone VERY dedicated.

The Grinch stuff also lends authenticity. If we get new Grinch movie information and it has any **** that comes from this leak I say we're one step closer towards proving it real.

Alright who is on watch for potential Grinch promotional art/merch?

We're probably still getting him but he'll likely be DLC if this turns out to be true. A big running theme in this game is including characters that were considered or cut since Melee.

Cut from SSB4: Chorus Kids, Chrom, Wolf, Snake, Ice Climbers, Squirtle, Ivysaur

Considered for Melee: Mach Rider
Considered for Brawl: Geno
Considered for SSB4: Ridley, Dark Samus

That's 13 characters in the base roster. If Inceniroar got snubbed for the base, it was probably because Pokemon currently has 9 characters with 3 being added back in.

Either way, we know Verg knew something. It might have been outdated info like Gematsu but Sakurai is digging deep in the archives to make content for this game. Aside from Ray, this game probably won't have cut content character wise which is why I see Dixie and Inceniroar at the front for DLC (again, if this is true).

Nobody ever got played harder than Chrom fans for Smash 4, after that long long period of Gematsu basically being invincible they get that huge slap in the face at the end of the Robin trailer.

I'll still be sorry for Incineroar fans if this is true though.

Banjo looks vaguely similar, but it's hard to tell because of the blur--Kazooie is definitely not, so it would at the very least require a composite if inspired. However, even if fake, I feel like a lot of these character art would have to be new, and so any comparisons to the Smashified art could be coincidental.

Also, someone said Dr. Mario was compared to previous art to debunk him, which turned out not to be the case--it's notable, but so far we haven't found the smoking gun.

Holy ****, Sakurai was planning the most hype and most incredible smash direct yet with all those fan favorite characters. High probability of a another story mode/adventure mode aswell. Also the guy who leaked this ****ed up big time. He’s going to get his ass sued off. Atleast he’s going down as a smash martyr.

+ Unseen Grinch movie material also in image
+ Weird specificity of it apparently being an armband
+ Leaker's LinkedIn wasn't newly created, confirmed work at company with Namco as a customer, and has since been made private
+ Original form of Snapchat video, meaning images would have had to have been printed, etc. at somewhat professional standard
+ Little creative details like Isaac having vines, Chorus Kids possibly including conductor

Vergeben, the box, and then this.
It's safe to say he'll be revealed next, so even if the next direct doesn't have all the characters, if Ken's banner pose doesn't match up it's fake, otherwise it's real.

It's going to be a long 2 weeks.

Regarding some of the more common arguments against this:

"image blurry so fake"

The banner isn't the only piece of evidence. That blown up image you see isn't the only thing that was posted. Do research.

"too many character"

Your personal belief that there are too many newcomers is not convincing evidence

Go make a wristband using original assets while re-organizing a massive mural to reveal hidden parts of renders and also make some unrelated movie renders. Then take a video of it. Go ahead. Do it.
