Digimon anime or Pokémon anime?

Some people told me that the first is better.

Digimon, it's not without its own problems, but a lot of it is with production value and how some of it has aged, but when it comes to ideas, characters, worlds, narrative, then it blows Pokémon away.

When there's actually put a lot of money into it and top animators work on it, like the debut movie and Our War Game, it's genuinely great.

I thought that Omega stages were made for that purpose.

Maybe the existence of the BF stages will change this culturally a bit. Omegas were basically unused competitively in 4 I think as a combo of the fact that FD itself was an unpopular pick (it's really the least balanced of the legal stages under any realistic ruleset, which made it funny other stages kept getting banned before it) and a lot of people just weren't caught on to the procedure stuff that made omegas a non-problem to allow. When practicing, I always play on random between all legal stages which kinda precludes omega/BF forms though.

But you can, if you play casually more often.

Look, my buddy and I have been getting back into Smash shape with Smash 4 looking forward to Ultimate. We spent like an hour last night exploring the nuances of the Falco vs King Dedede match-up just for giggles (end result: Falco sucks a lot but King Dedede is basically the worst character ever, struggles to deal with Falco zoning with down-B which is sad). For that matter, our legal stage pool we're using for Smash 4 is 14 stages which I'm pretty sure is over double what everyone else is willing to play on (BF, FD, Delfino, Skyloft, Kongo 64, Halberd, Lylat, PS2, Siege, Smashville, T&C, Duck Hunt, Wuhu, DL 64, Umbra), . I'm all about playing the game with an open mind. I don't really want to spend a whole lot of my time playing on actually objectively bad stages since playing kinda wild stuff can be both fun and can teach the corners of the game that you never know might come up in tournament and playing a more full game is a more rich experience but when something degenerate is going on the game kinda just becomes about that thing which is really a lot less fun in the long run. And honestly in the rare cases we're in a silly enough mood to want a stage that will surprise and amuse us, given that we know all the mechanics of all of the stages, I think we can agree that only Mario Maker can possibly be a satisfying stage selection.

I'm a casual player but I still tend to stay away from the more radical stages; I just don't find stage gimmicks that interfere with the overall gameplay that fun.

Yeah, that sucks, but a ton of people talk bad about both potential newcomers or playable fighters. It's just how people are and it's their opinion. If you are so bothered by it, just ignore them, that's what I do.

And yeah, P5's soundtrack is some of the best video game music I've ever heard. Part of why I want Joker in Smash is so we can get Smash remixes of stuff like Rivers in the Desert.

Like, I get it there isn't a whole lot to talk about now. So just go to a social thread then. I feel like some users on here think this is the only thread on the board (evident when someone is like how would so and so play instead of looking at the characters support thread).

Eh, I personally don't like coming to this thread and seeing pages and pages of how Pokemon Let's Go is the wrong direction for the series, or just general talk about a recent game that came out that isn't even a Nintendo series but whatever.

There are some people in this board that, for some reason, don't like Digimon/ don't like the idea of a Digimon in Smash.

That's the beauty of hundreds of fanbases colliding into one spot.
Not to mention people simply may not like Digimon for any reason. It doesn't appeal to them (design, lore, etc.). They see it as a threat to a series they do like (i.e: other Namco franchises like Tekken and Tales of)

My most wanted is Phoenix Wright, and yes while people do talk complete nonsense that shows they never played or even read about the series, they have the right to not like him or the series.

Would you prefer us going over Box Theory for the 111 thousandth time then? We gone over literally everything related to Smash and until there is news what else is there to talk about. We all went over Box Theory, Blog theory, Fake leaks, Real leaks, Fake leaks pretending to be real, Real leaks pretending to be fake, who we want in smash, who we dont want in smash, who will never be in smash, who might be in smash... And several variations of forum games that amount mostly to rp practice and Emoji posting. I say let us just have fun til something happens..
