Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

Pretty sure it's been confirmed as E10+
There is no way a game with Bayonetta, some pretty Gothic imagery (Dracula's Castle stage), and hand to hand combat would get an E rating

You're right. I don't think they're interchangable, and from what I heard, the ESRB rated it E10+ (as it says on the bottom of the blog).

I hope Nintendo's next tweet is literally them just saying "Fine, here's Geno in Smash. Happy?" And it's a picture of his model and his short 20 second video. If that happened, I'd be completely satisfied.

I'm actually kinda surprised that they don't do announcements on the blog. Prior times, the blog was used to share some non-trivial news (though as far as I know, hasn't revealed a character since Brawl). I know it's a less hype way to reveal a character, but seems like otherwise the blog has been pointless and redundant (outside of music).

Nintendo of America not tweeting at all on the usual time is super suss. Has this ever happened before in relation to a Direct announcement, that their first post of the day is super late?

I guess this'll be a normal day, we likely won't be getting a direct announcement. Ah well, there's always next week.

And for the bar to announce the game, Nintendo has to announce it first, if I'm understanding correctly, as Nintendo is being super secretive with what the game is, possibly leading to their having an announcement regarding what said game is seeing as Nintendo of Canada also tweeted about the bar event.

I'll ask this again: how did Warchamp and "the commentators" react to Tasnut being brought up? A user was citing their reaction to suggest that it was something only people "higher up" in the community would be aware of.

Nintendo doesn't always announce directs at 10am EST. That was just September's direct.

The March direct (which teased Smash Ultimate) was announced at 6:00 AM EST.

I mean, it's probably just gonna be a promo post for some indie game coming to the Switch or something, but it's still odd.
... I suppose it can't be a Smash announcement, since every example of a non-10 AM direct tweet was, in fact, earlier than 10 AM.

Just got back from an Oddysey game session. Easy 10/10 my personal game of the year and the best in the franchises history barely edging out the second.

If Ubisoft are gonna have a 3rd party rep in smash please let it be Alexios and Kassandra
