I just explained this to someone in another thread, so I'll link you to the post. The "hints" are essentially the reason why Isaac and Skull Kid are being brought up so much.

I understand what you're getting at, but those don't mean they'll be revealed tomorrow.
I honestly wouldn't even use those as evidence for them being in the game either.
I mean you can, but don't rely on that.
I thought people were only bringing them up because of a leak floating around or because someone credible mentioned something.

About time the Direct came rolling around. I want to see my Yoshi's Crafted Wor-- er, I mean SMASH footage!!!

I am highly disappointedc that Yoshi's Flipping Island is not the proper name. It's too good.

I'm hoping tomorrow's character(s) will not bring much disappointment, but I guess that's inevitable at this point. I'd love to see the reactions though if it ends up being one of those characters who everyone loves but nobody saw coming.

Remember guys, this is the same company that decided to lock the Smash 3ds demo behind ****ing codes that only specific Nintendo club members got.
It's not really out there in terms of predictions.

I'm hoping tomorrow's character(s) will not bring much disappointment, but I guess that's inevitable at this point. I'd love to see the reactions though if it ends up being one of those characters who everyone loves but nobody saw coming.

Do those even exist? I feel like at most you'll get a character that everyone is either in love with or indifferent towards.

I could actually see that happening. Cause that would be something that would make people do a 180 to Nintendo's online.

To be honest if the Direct starts with a reveal I could see two newcomers being the case. If not, we are only getting one with perhaps an echo added at best imo.

If it starts with a newcomer that automatically locks 2 uniques in the direct (possibly)

There's no way we won't get another "Everyone is Here!" video with the remaining newcomers added, hell, it could even work as the game's intro.

I think in november will be a 50 extravagaza two and possible reveal the rest of the newcomers and echos if not December 1st-6th should show the last unique fighter trailer (if not leaked by then)

I'm still saying that a lock for the Direct will be only one newcomer, it makes the most sense, honestly. Back in the December 2013 Direct after the E3 Presentation, we finally got a newcomer, being Rosalina & Luma. The February 2014 Direct we had Little Mac in the beginning of the broadcast, and then afterwards shown the Duck Hunt trailer in the November 2014 Direct to give Smash one more push before release of the Wii U Version.

In regards to Smash content in general Nintendo Directs, there have always been only just one reveal, so that's what I'm feeling for tomorrow. Don't know who, but I'll be hype regardless.

I actually had an idea for a demo I'd like to see. Bear in mind that's wildly unrealistic and never going to happen.

Said idea would be for the demo to allow the player to choose some number of fighters to download and play. This would be a small fraction of the roster, but would be incredibly hype nonetheless as most of the characters I really want to try out are exempt from the E3 demo.

You get Tails in the mech from SA 2. The Dovahkiin only has Unrelenting Force as a shout, and focuses around stealth archer gameplay. Sakurai wanted to make him as accurate to Skyrim as possible.

We had Mewtwo, Lucas, AND the reveal of the Smash Ballot in an April direct. Granted we already knew about Mewtwo, but it was the first time getting info about when he's coming and actual gameplay footage. Not to mention the bombshell that was the Smash Ballot being dropped.

Right, but I mean this as in before the game was ever released. Even if DLC might seem like a no-brainer, we don't know when Sakurai will start post-content production, so I left out content after-release out.

That could happen, but I don't really see it happening with 85 days left. Gotta spread that stuff out reasonably well to keep the momentum going.

Granted, but he's not garbage, in fact, he's meta-knight levels of broken and because of that he's banned from tournaments and online play, and you can only play as him for 2 hours a day.
