Do you think it's possible we'd get a dual reveal and have that character revealed for Smash?

Possible, sure. Likely? I don't know. The timing lines up for Elma to be on the initial roster, in terms of development, but I don't know that Nintendo would have pushed for her to be in if Sakurai wasn't already trying to put her in himself. It's pretty clear now that his decisions for characters, thus far, were heavily influenced by fan request, and Elma wouldn't have been a big request at all considering XCX was released a month after the ballot started.

Granted this doesn't have Soren or Felix but considering Echoes barely take any time, thus it's plausible that echo fighters were planned and developed during different times.
