I made this roster for characters that I don't have as much faith in, but regard as very real possibilities. I'm not expecting people to like this roster. I just want it to be out there.

There are 70 fighters, not counting echo fighters. Zeraora is #70. I'm prepared for the possibility that we may only get a few new fighters, so this is my forecast of that outcome.
All of my other rosters predict Excitebike and Mimikyu. But, Mach Rider may be easier to implement with the ability to assemble and dissemble his bike via particles/pixels for animations that won't fit (such as, jumping, swimming, or climbing ladders), but he uses his bike as his running animation, first jump, and most of his attacks.
Zeraora is my second pick if Mimikyu is not seen as a viable fighter by Sakurai. Zeraora isn't just electric like Pikachu. He has magnetic powers that allow him to levitate or encase himself in a shield. I believe this is the Pokemon that the Pokemon Company would want to promote if they don't choose Mimikyu. In case you are wondering, he's existed prior to 2018, where people data mined him out of Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon.
I'm really crossing my fingers for Ninten and if you are wondering why Dark Samus is an echo fighter, it's not because she's known for sharing Samus's abilities, but because, like Ganondorf, her model allows her to perform most if not all of Samus's animations, which is the process by which echo fighters are made. And of course, people have pointed out that she is missing from Samus's colors.
