This is purely conjecture, but in the direct when they demonstrated the smash attack our of dash both characters turned around before executing their smash attack so perhaps in Ultimate the turnaround animation wll count at standing state

Any word on DK and Bowser getting their normal voices rather than the generic animal sounds? I'm gonna be really upset if they didn't change their voices too.

DK was still King Kong in the footage we saw, so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

There is that possibility. If Daisy made the cut, then perhaps someone like Dry Bowser may have a shot, as he has been a recurring character in the Super Mario series, and has a few mainstream appearances by his side.

If this is the last Smash under Sakurai we should get years of DLC to keep the game fresh for a long time. That way a lot of newcomers that don't make it in the initial release get into the game eventually.

Dwelling about it won't do any good, what's done is done, best advice I can give you is to simply focus on other things you might like and move, that's how I got over my dissapointment in the Smash 4 days.

Or How Sakurai said he would just be a mix of Marth and Ike?

With the "officialisation" of Echoes fighters, I'm thinking Chrom actually have a true shot at getting in.

On the topic of Link (finally), what do you guys think of him? His reach somehow appears even better, although I am uncertain of his mobility. His recovery has more reach (seems to look so), but distance looks unchanged. Remote Bombs definitely remind me of Duck Hunt's can in the way it can be used. His Final Smash happened to be one of my two guesses, and I am far from disappointed.

If you slow the video down and look VERY at the section where Sakurai talks about dodge spamming and it's consequences, it seems that not only does the intangibility increase, but the frame data of the dodge also gets worse (slower overall).

Is it possible we might see him re-visit all his lost concepts in new ways? We have Sukapon as an assist and I know he wanted to include that at one point.

There's also Geno, Chorus Kids, etc.

I want more costumes/outfits and echoes. Galacta Knight for Meta Knight, Ken for ryu, Dark Samus for Samus, Funky Kong for DK, every link and zelda, Shadow for Sonic, Pluse and Minun for Pichu or Pikachu, Ms Pac Man, Blood Falcon and Black Shadow for Falcon, Dry Bowser for Bowser, Birdo for Yoshi, Ninten for Ness, Swimsuits for the girls (for the sweaty nerds), and there are many more things fans can think of, I need y'all to cosign!! This game is still finna be lit.

The most relatable post I've seen on here all day. I did lose faith in Young Link, but I always thought Pichu's return was possible. And I also **** on people for thinking Pokemon Trainer would come back.

Because we've seen Alph in Olimar's trailer and Alph wasn't given any distinction of being an Echo.
