I've come here to get other peoples opinion on this and to shame a certain individual.

According to Bullet Bill me MMing everyone in the UK except Fuzzy with Roy and saying they can only play Fox, Falco and CF means that im a coward because im scared of losing against other characters and im scared of Fuzzy, even though it's ROYYY so I have the right to picky of what characters and im obviously not going to beat Fuzzy.

Bullet Bill has clearly stated he is extemely confident in winning, but refuses to do it for more then £2 and I said £10 or £20...so who is showing the cowardly traits?

anyway you being a coward is clearly proven by the fact that you will not money match Charles- the only person who is your skill level, but you act all cocky when you're money matching people that have a much lower skill level than you. If your Roy REALLY was all that and a bad of chips, you'd put your money where your big mouth is and mm charles.

Me on the other hand, I'm more than happy to mm you for £2 even though you're a better player than me so you will always be the favorite. You see Mr Pro, unlike you I won't shy away from mming even if it's against a better opponent.

its less so cowardly as it is more a case of no being stupid. not wanting to MM fuzzy with roy is fair game, you cant even win with fox but restricting them to only spacies and falcon is a little odd. but its not gonna affect me XD

Ben your argument that Prof is being 'cowardly' makes no sense. The whole point of him playing Roy is (I assume) to be able to play people who are not Fuzz (mainly the next tier down in UK players) and have close sets which he still thinks he can and wants to win. He did not pick up Roy to prove he can beat anyone in the UK with Roy and has no reason to play Fuzz with Roy. You make it sound like he has something to prove against Fuzz specifically with Roy and is shying away from it when it's completely irrelevant.

Prof is just being realistic. Roy (like a lot of low tiers) can really mess with fast fallers, and the bs that he can pull if they can't adapt to the match up (missing techs on the dtilt gets ffers destroyed) can compensate for how bad roy as a character is. Add that to how smart prof is in game and it lead to some close matches.

And playing against fuzz with a low tier secondary when it is really close with his main is just stupid.

Ive posted here before, and I regret having to post here again because you are likely not my target audience, but you seem to be the most active thread in the uk.

Regardless, I am an exchange student at the university of glasgow and I wanted to know if there were any smashers active in the area. if not, what is the closest active area to glasgow?
