from Noon until whenever we finish

Location: Dwinelle Hall
- 3 rooms, still tbd (room #'s available in the next couple days)
- Will have 10 set ups, more if you bring some
- 3 set ups for recording

General Rules:

Melee:
•4 stock
•2/3 sets
•3/5 semifinals+finals
•8 minute time limit
•Items off
•Ties broken by lives, then %
•Double Blind character pick can be called at anytime.
•Stage Knock Out: Each person may choose one stage to be disabled for the entire set, it must be chosen at the beginning of the set, after initial characters are chosen.
•Advanced Slob Picks: Loser may choose the next stage or select to go random. The winner may then change their character, followed by the loser.
•Bring your own controller
•Controller Mods, Glitches (IC Freeze Glitch, Mewtwo Soul Stunner, etc), and tactics used to stall a match (wall-bombing, rising pound), are banned.
•Wobbling is banned

•Singles entry fee $5
•prize: 1st-60% 2nd-30% 3rd-10%

TEAMS will depend on time and turnout.

DISCLAIMER: I did NOT make this map so the room number on the map is NOT the one we are using. BUT it does conveniently have Dwinelle Hall highlighted in green.

From BART:

The BART station is just off the leftmost part of the map. Basically, there's a road that goes right up into campus from Oxford Street, between Center and Allston (it's called Cross Campus on this map, but it's ACTUALLY called Campanile Way). If you just follow that road, it'll go straight to Dwinelle Hall. It curves a bit, so make sure you follow the curve (as if you were in a car).

With Car:

Well, parking is difficult in berkeley so come by public transport if possible. If not, then your best bet is probably street parking. Make sure you pay attention to parking signs though - I'm not entirely sure what the rules are on Sunday. Maybe another berkeleyite can fill us in on that.

Oh, and setups will probably be taken care of (that's usually how we do it), but if not we'll let you know.

About setups: we should be able to provide 10 as it is, but if you would like to bring a setup then you are welcome to do so.

no mark-ups:

walking through streets:

- head south on Shattuck (towards Allston Way)
- turn left on Bancroft Way
- turn left on Telegraph Ave. (you'll be entering campus)
- walk about 5-10min and you'll see the west entrance to Dwinelle Hall on your left



walking through campus:

- walk down Center St. towards campus
- walk towards the huge clock tower
- after walking about 10min uphill, you'll see the north entrance to Dwinelle Hall on your right
- don't go in because you'll get lost, noob
- make the first available right after you see the building
- enter through south entrance

Berkeley parking is always balls. Sunday is free.

There are lots of parking garages scattered around the major streets (Bancroft, Shattuck, Telegraph).

I think the closest parking garage to the venue is on Telegraph and Durant. It smells like piss.

I'll be parking near Allston and Shattuck - I think it's like $10 for the whole day.
