Smash bros not a real competitive game? What!?

Ok so this chick(Probably a dude) told me that Smash bros melee or brawl for that matter is not really a competitive game. After getting into a minor disagreement with her months ago the ***** went psycho stalker on me and stuff but...well that's a whole other topic. Basically her argument is any game where the default rules have to be edited to such a degree can't possibly be a real competitive game. In fact she even argues that fighters are not really competitive(wtf fail logic). So I was wonder..what do the rest of you think about this?




*On a side note~ I'm compiling a video for her. It's going to be known as F*** Ice_lady :). Anyone who wants to be in on it just PM me and send me a clip of you saying F*** Ice_Lady and I'll put them together :cool:

This sounds like a hateful endeavor. Don't feed trolls. Trolls can be trolls even if they don't realize it. Those are usually the worst trolls.

Unless this is you being a 12 year old and making fun of a girl because you liiiiiiike her.

There are already plenty of videos you can show her. Besides, there is a competitive scene to the game so she is clearly wrong. Just show her tournament footage or something, DO NOT make a "**** you" video directed directly at her.

In anycase I'm pretty sure she's mad and it's gotta be a she no guy reacts THAT badly I been compared to the devil....Reverse trolling ftw.


and now she's not hot. A Mutual friend describes her as gooey. and she seems to have lots of arm-fat rolls. I'm trying to get a photo of her. God I love the internet.

Listen to the cactus. He pretty much invented trolling.

edit: technically almost anything can be competetive. If there's a winner and a loser, and the loser gets salty, its competetive.

if you are into ugly fat chick...I've seen her and she doesn't look good....at all. Now she's mad because I called her out for being obese and a feminist by default because no guy would touch her....I am so nice:bee:

I am shocked at how thin skinned people are...maybe I'm to use to smashboards.

She's not my girl friend she's a friend who's a girl and hates smash.

Anyways, I'd advise you against making such a video, but don't worry, any game community that can support itself this well on a competitive level has more respect than any shooter community out there, save for maybe counter-strike. Those guys take that **** seriously.

Besides, anything can be competitive, the thing that makes melee a cut above is the learning curve. I'd like to see her pick up a controller and make it out of pools if it's so easy.
