How many set ups do you need? How many do you have and if Bug brings his how much would that equal. I'll bring mine depending if you need it.

By setups I mean TV's Wii's and Copies of Brawl.

We need as many as possible. The more the better.

Yup I can house. I already have IceClimbers5 staying the night as my house. Lots of brawling to be going on

I have my own T.V but I can't bring it since I am all the way in Toronto, plus my ride is going to be in sauga or I am coaching it. I could bring a Wii+Brawl, just tell me if you need that specifically. Otherwise, if I can get a drive all the way there from my home I can bring it but no one I know lives there.

Ok... for the panelist thing, I personally think I fit the requirements best. I have a VERY good idea on who trumps who in Niagara (after being asked repeatedly by some Niagarians ) and I think I'm well respected enough for people to respect my decisions.

Niko's like our public relations guy. And he hosts everything and lets us use/trash his house. This community may not have seen any real progress the last couple months without his efforts. And he found a copy of ALttP on the Fairview mall floor. So he gets MY respect.

Anyway, remember Niko, if you do the venue thing (SWC?), I can get some people from school to come so that the venue costs are lessened and the pot is bigger.

I just contacted Russell Ave Community Center. They have a meeting office which seats 75-120 people which we can rent for 150 + insurance for the day. They told me they will be calling me tomorrow. If this goes through I will have to charge a 5 dollar house fee and I will post directions and stuff.

It would help greatly for whoever is driving to bring setups! Though I'm not confirming this at the moment. Just a heads up.

I sure did. I say you bring the wii + brawl just incase. Though if there is a way to get your TV out here that would be freaking sweet. I'm going to the venue tomorrow to check it out and I'm gunna be bugging my grandfather for some tv's since he has tons.

I honestly think percon would be the best bet for a panelist. Niko does travel around more, but max is ridiculously knowledgeable about the game (its unhealthy) and he is very good at being objective, and taking in everything to determine whats fair/proper.

We need to take advantage of this venue as much as possible. Invite everyone and anyone. More money for the venue fee and pot + pizza.

So far I have 3 names for panelists, waiting on confirmation of a fourth, and then will probably round it off with a fifth.

Also, seeing as I'm kind of taking the initiative here with this whole PR thing...
Are you guys cool/excited for this?
Having a toronto melee pr was one of the sole reasons our community grew as much in skill level and size/quality as it did.

So I hope you guys trust my judgement and credibility in putting this together, if you have any concerns I'm open to hear them.

With a venue this size it can easily be accomplished. Come out and show you're support and I can guarentee you it will be worth it. Bring as many people in your car as possible too! I'm going to be starting local advertisement very shortly and I can forsee a HUGE outcome.

Hey this is a really noob question, but am i allowed to change my controls? with a broken finger its impossible to use Z to grab, so i gotta change it to X.

Not a problem at all, just let the person who you are playing know that you play with custom controls. Also thats amazing dedication, broken finger and you're still attending. Kudos to you!

I'm putting the extra house fee towards Pizza/Refreshments. With my extra 50 I think I'm going to throw it towards pizza. Though my stomach tells me it won't be enough.
