This round's gonna be awesome. I'm really hoping we get a largeish turnout for it.

I'm only here for Gaur Plains, Final Destination, and Windy Hill.

Gaur Plains
1. You Will Know Our Names
2. Gaur Plains (the shortened version)
3. Mechanical Rhythm
4. One Who Gets in Our Way
5. Engage the Enemy
6. Unfinished Battle
7. Xenoblade Medley (Gaur Plains, You Will Know Our Names, Mechanical Rhythm, Engage the Enemy)
This one required some guess work since we haven't heard the full song, only portions of it with Gaur Plains in Shulk's trailer and Engage the Enemy in the 50 Fact Extravaganza. But I ultimately chose these four tracks.
8. The One Ruling Everything (The Last Story)
I chose a song from The Last Story since it was a part of the Operation Rainfall movement along with Xenoblade. I originally had a song from Pandora's Tower, another Rainfall game, but I ultimately took it off my list when I couldn't find a song fitting for the stage (but the soundtrack is incredible).
Still, there are a lot of tracks from Xenoblade that I could have went with. I am a big fan of Colony 9, Satorl Marsh - Night, and The God Slaying Sword (as well as the track that comes before this one in the final battle, but the title is spoilery).

(No Items, Fox Only,) Final Destination
1. Final Destination
2. Menu (Melee) Ver. 2 (I can't help but laugh every time I hear this track in the Run event in Smash Run... it's very unfitting in my opinion)
3. Master Hand (in my opinion what SHOULD have been Final Destination)
4. Final Destination (64)
5. Final Destination (Melee)
6. Final Destination (Brawl)
7. Credits (Super Smash Bros. 64)
8. Multi-Man Melee 2
Too much Final Destination? Probably. Still, I wanted to give each track as much love and attention as possible (and it makes me sad that the 64 version was neglected in Brawl :(). It was hard to choose that over Opening (Super Smash Bros. Melee) and Giga Bowser (Melee). I brought back Multi-Man Melee 2 since it is a very popular track.

Windy Hill
1. Windy Hill 1
2. Wonder World
3. Reach for the Stars
4. Open Your Heart
5. Live & Learn
6. Sonic Heroes
7. Green Hill (Modern) (Generations)
8. Rooftop Run
9. City Escape: I should mention that I added this AFTER the fact that it was seen in the track listing for Windy Hill. Despite this, I will still add City Escape. Honestly, it was a song that I was considering adding to my list this morning. If you want to deduct points for cheating or whatever, you can if you like.
10. Planet Wisp
I was tempted to put in Endless Possibilities, but I decided to choose Rooftop Run over it. The main reason is that I don't want to be criticized for choosing too many vocal tracks (looking at the confirmed track list, that seems to be the case).
A little mini-rant, why can't they choose some level songs from other games? It bothered me in Brawl where the level songs were from the Genesis games and a majority of the Sonic tracks were vocal tracks. The tracks aren't bad, but they are leaving out a big portion of good Sonic music in my opinion.
EDIT: I added City Escape and Planet Wisp. Sonic Generations influenced my choice for Planet Wisp to be honest.

And with that, I am done.

Orbital Gate Assault has been added to the Hall of Fame entry on Page 75.

The Hall of 3DS Accuracy is live! Basically, I pedestal the people who had the best accuracy on their 3DS rounds! Note that these only apply to most accurate on that particular 3DS stage, so multiple winners are pretty much assured for more than one round.

The Hall isn't complete, but will be soon. I'm just tuckered out from making my Smash Tour set up, not to mention Shulk saving me from terminating the contest. =P

Round One: Battlefield 3DS (Smash Bros)
Best Accuracy: EVERYONE! Not a single person left out either the Smash 4 Main Theme OR the Brawl Mix of the Melee Theme!

Round Three: 3D Land (Mario)
Best Accuracy: Brawler610 - There were others who had 3D Land Overworld, 3D Land Beach Level AND the Athletic Theme, but Brawler was the only one to use the original SMB. 3 version of the Athletic theme rather than a remix.

Round Five: Reset Bomb Forest (Kid Icarus)
Best Accuracy: legendofrob1, God Robert's Cousin, APC99 - While some had the base Reset Bomb Forest track or just one or the other between RBF (Wrath) and Dark Pit's theme, these are the only players to get both.

Round Seven: Spirit Train (Zelda)
Best Accuracy: APC99 and Olekidsf - No one had what would be the Dungeon theme to add on to the Main Theme, but these two had the Main Theme along with Full Steam Ahead!.

Round Nine: Arena Ferox (Fire Emblem)
Best Accuracy: Captain Hotcakes, Ascended, Starbound - The precise versions of Together We Ride from Melee and Brawl weren't present along with Id-(Purpose), but these 3 had various originals packaged with it.

Round Eleven: Living Room (nintendogs)
Best Accuracy: EVERYONE! not a single person had Bath Time twice on their lists! I mean, why would you? Why would you? Why Would you? Why would you? Why would you?

Round Thirteen: Wily's Castle (Mega Man Classic)
Best Accuracy: To Be Added

Round Fifteen: Rainbow Road (Mario Kart)
Best Accuracy: To Be Added

Round Seventeen: Tortimer Island (Animal Crossing) / Jungle Japes <Melee> (DK Country)
Best Accuracy (Tortimer Island): To Be Added
Best Accuracy (Jungle Japes <Melee>): To Be Added

Round Nineteen: Smash Run (Miscellaneous series / Smash Bros.)
Best Accuracy: To Be Added

I'll be entering the pac man round. Are all 3 of those songs confirmed to appear on Pac Land, or is that a guess?
Does Pac-Land get 10 tracks like Wily's Castle did?
it should, Pac is 3rd Party too!

If you don't include Escape from the City or any of the newly confirmed tracks for Windy Hill, I won't count it against you. That goes for anymore confirmed tracks.

I'd eat my hat if all 3 Pac-Man songs don't make it to Pac-Land, probably be safe to put them in there.

Also, Windy Hill and Pac-Land will be granted 12 songs each as they belong to 3rd Party series. Please adjust any CSTs you make with this in mind.

EDIT: WHOOPS I MEANT TEN. Unless you guys want 12...=P

Feels like it's been forever since I last entered this competition.

Also, I find the 'One Medley Per List' rule hilarious now, since the Wily Castle stage has been confirmed to have at least FIVE different medleys.

10 songs are allowed for Windy Hill! And you don't have to include any of the songs that got confirmed today if you don't want to. So, @Brawler610, the possibilities are a little more endless! :p

GameXplain has shown us what a large majority of the tracks are.
Despite this, my track lists will remain unchanged as that's cheating... except I will add two more songs to my Windy Hill track list.
I should also mention that this isn't the complete track listing for each stage as I didn't see the songs from Glory of Hercules and Wonderful 101 there.

I'm not going to even bother looking at what's been leaked. Not going to let hateful people like GameXplain ruin our contest, after all... But just be warned, I may need to wait until the game's release to grade...

It's 10. I only said 12 because I'm dumb and can't read the difference between a zero key and a two key. =P
Luckily, I accounted for that, as you can see in my track list.
Blade Mountain will be sorely missed.

I'm going to try to do as many of them as I can. For now, I'll start with an old favourite: Final Destination.

Oh ****, we're finally doing Windy Hill? Guess I'll do this now and do the other lists later.

Confirmed
Wonder World
Windy Hill Zone 1
Open Your Heart
Sonic Heroes
Reach For the Stars

My additions
Green Hill Zone Modern - the pace of this remix is better suited to the game than the original 16-bit version of the song, and represents both the original game and Generations.

City Escape
- pretty much 3D Sonic's Green Hill Zone, despite personally not being a big fan of it myself. Generations version of the song, again represents two games at once and in my opinion is higher quality in general.

Boss medley - in the absence of space to include a million classic songs that totally deserve to get in, I'll instead go for a medley of the iconic battles with the dastardly Dr. Eggman, with the Sonic 1, Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 boss battle themes, along with Big Arm from Sonic 3.

Perfect Dark Gaia
- it was originally a toss-up between Rooftop Run and Endless Possibilities, since the former is arguably the most popular stage in Sonic Unleashed and the latter is the game's main theme. In the end I went for the final boss instead, since it represents the game's main theme while not putting people off who feel like the vocal themes are out of place, not to mention being better suited for beating the **** out of smashing your opponents.

Deadly Six theme - A more upbeat boss theme than the other two songs. Since the Deadly Six are pretty much the face of Lost World this is obligatory. Due to the length of the theme, contains both versions of the song.

Holy guacamole chips and dip! I'll be entering for everything except Jungle Hijinxs tomorrow. (I've never been much of a Donkey Kong fan, so I don't think I can put together a suitable tracklist.)

Jungle Hijinx
Confirmed
Gear Getaway
Gear Getaway 2
DK Island Swing Returns

My additions

Stickerbrush Symphony/Bramble Blast - everybody loves this song, so it's a fairly obvious choice. Was already remixed in Brawl.

Gangplank Galleon - the song that most people associate with King K. Rool, the final battle of the first game. Again, already remixed in Brawl.

Crocodile Cacophony - another K. Rool theme, this time from DKC2. Not quite as popular as Gangplank Galleon but still pretty iconic, and a bit more "hardcore."

Aquatic Ambience - too popular not to include.

Sunset Shore - since it isn't a Donkey Kong stage without five different versions of the same song. This one's a bit more relaxing, but not too much so.

Punch Bowl - the theme of Bashmaster the Unbreakable, the boss of world 5 from Tropical freeze. Everybody loves Bashmaster and I'm sure close enough to everybody enjoys his badass theme as well.

Homecoming Hijinx - theme of the main enemies of the game and a pretty great song itself.

I originally considered adding the DK Rap as well but since Kongo Jungle is returning from 64 I figured it would be better there.

That didn't take long at all. Maybe I'll try Gaur Plains after this if I feel up to it.

Well, if @ Kevandre Kevandre is judging the Donkey Kong Stage, then I suppose I could put a setlist together for him.

Windy Hill:

1: Windy Hill Zone 1
Origin: Sonic Lost World (Wii U, 2013)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vYCWi_DfUo
Notes: Confirmed, and even if it wasn't, it is the theme of the stage in the home game so it should be in the Smash Bros version of the stage.

2: Wonder World
Origin: Sonic Lost World (Wii U, 2013)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTbZgid5Aww
Notes: Confirmed, and it is the main theme of Sonic Lost World so I would have put it in even if it wasn't confirmed. (Although I would have chosen either this or Windy Hill Zone 1 as I think it's redundant to have both, but whatever.)

3: Reach for the Stars
Origin: Sonic Colors (Wii, 2010)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bv4CJ80LXQ
Notes: I LOVED Sonic Colors, and it was either this, Planet Wisp, or Vs Nega-Wisp Armor for me. In the end, since this is the confirmed track, and we're only limited to ten songs, I decided to go with this.

4: Open Your Heart
Origin: Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast, 1998/1999)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUb_B4xL0qk
Notes: Sonic Adventure and the Dreamcast are very nostalgic for me, and a big part of that comes from Open Your Heart. An excellent song that I'm excited to see come back.

5: Sonic Heroes
Origin: Sonic Heroes (GameCube, 2004)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jw6KRkx0vNg
Notes: I really wanted to put What I'm Made Of as the Sonic Heroes song, but again since we're limited to ten and I want a variety of games represented, I have to go with this. (Great song though, I really liked Sonic Heroes' vocal songs.)

6: Escape From the City - Classic Remix
Origin: Sonic Generations (PS3/X360/PC, 2011)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Y29qU2edNI
Notes: One of the most iconic first level songs, and an excellent remix. I was going to put this before I saw that the original Escape From the City was confirmed, and I still want to go with this because I think it's a better version, and I think it fits the stage/Smash Bros more effectively compared to the SA2 original. (Even though I'm a major SA2 fanboy.)

7: Knight of the Wind
Origin: Sonic & the Black Knight (Wii, 2009)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwFyC6uI34c
Notes: I know Black Knight gets a bad rep, but I think this song is really good and would be awesome to fight to. Also, it's a Wii exclusive and since we had Seven Rings in Hand for Brawl, I think it would be cool to have Knight of the Wind for Smash 4 (kind of like upgrading, or downgrading if you think this is a worse song than SRIN.)

8: Super Sonic VS Perfect Dark Gaia
Origin: Sonic Unleashed (Wii/PS2/PS3/X360, 2008)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKz4rdtX6Mg
Notes: Sonic Unleashed just barely missed getting into Brawl, so I think it's appropriate that we have some music from that game here in Smash 4. I went with this song as it is a pretty epic remix of Endless Possibility, the main theme, and I'd rather have this over the main theme as it being an instrumental adds some variety, plus I think it's good for fighting since it was a final boss theme. (Also, 0:29-0:37 is just EPIC!)

9: Live & Learn
Origin: Sonic Adventure 2 (Dreamcast, 2001)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9zZus_1_ag
Notes: This is the song that I think of when I think about Sonic games. However, I would remix the song into a rock orchestra version, putting in some strings and a choir. I couldn't find a good version to represent what I was thinking of, so text will have to do.

10: Sonic Generations Credits Medley
Origin: Sonic Generaions, Sonic 1, 2, & Knuckles, Adventure, Adventure 2, Heroes, '06, Unleashed, and Colors. (1991-2011)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLgED5-G9ko
Notes: This might be cheating, as it is an already made medley, but it covers nearly all of Sonic's history with some of the most popular and iconic songs of the series. It also gives representation to all of the "major" Sonic games and it flows really well. If it made it into the game, it would probably be the longest, non-looped song in all of Smash Bros. (I also realize that including two songs from Generations, two songs from Adventure 2, and technically, two versions of Escape From the City is hypocritical. >_>)

Jungle Hijinxs:

1: DK Island Swind Returns
Origin: Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii, 2010)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbECER3HZs8
Notes: A great song, and the go-to DKC song for me. I hope the confirmed version has the extended opening, as that's one of my favorite parts.

2: Gear Getaway
Origin: Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii, 2010)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Huy4912tIkk
Notes: I don't like this song, but that might have something to do with all the hours of aggravation that the rocket barrel stages caused me. Since it's confirmed, I have to put it, and I do think it does a good job of capturing the DKCR era though.

3: Gear Getaway 2
Origin: Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii, 2010)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vE-Rk7T1Cg
Notes: Refer to my notes for Gear Getaway 1.

4: Mustache, Barrel, and Gorilla
Origin: Donkey Kong/DDR: Mario Mix (Arcade, 1981/GameCube, 2005)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Urb3NfWkb0
Notes: Well here's an oddball pick if I ever saw one. a Dance remix/medley of songs and sound effects from the arcade Donkey Kong? It's actually pretty awesome and is the kind of thing I could see the development team going for. The song itself ends and loops around the 1:35 mark.

5: King K. Rool
Origin: Donkey Kong Country (SNES, 1994)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQU7ml26JVM
Notes: The reason I tend to link to the song's first appearance is I want to go back to the original song before I talk about remixes or ideas that I have for it. While we have a really good remix of this song in Brawl that is most likely going to return, I would like something that can capture the original drums and strings of this version. (Around the 1:30-1:45 mark is what I'm talking about.)

6: Grassland Groove
Origin: Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (Wii U, 2014)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss421nbCAJE
Notes: I haven't played Tropical Freeze, so I just grabbed a song that had a lot of views on YouTube. However, I do think this song sounds pretty cool and would fit into the stage. It's also from the most recent game in the series, so there's that.

7: Donkey Kong Country Title
Origin: Donkey Kong Country (SNES, 1994)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTnMpJIaMyk
Notes: I love the original Donkey Kong title theme, and the DKC remix makes it even better. I think it would be cool to get a new remix, different from the DKCR version to give it more of its own identity.

8: Stickerbush Symphony
Origin: Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest (SNES, 1995)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J67nkzoJ_2M
Notes: I really like the original version of this song, and as much as I like the Brawl remix, I think it's missing some things that make the original so good. I would like an orchestrated version of this, something that takes the original and just plays it with real instruments as opposed to a midi program.

Pac-Land:

1: Pac-Man's Park/Block Plaza
Origin: Pac-Mania (Arcade, 1987)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrGuLKrrpbQ
Notes: Pac-Man's reveal trailer song is pretty awesome and catchy, and it's confirmed so why not?

2: Pac-Man
Origin: Pac-Man (Arcade, 1980)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoOX2_9Cblc
Notes: It was in the 3DS version, and it's confirmed, so...

3: Pac-Man (Club Mix)
Origin: Pac-Man (Arcade, 1980)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvY_7rV0Igk
Notes: I like to call this song Pac-Club, but that's just me.

4: Pac-Land
Origin: Pac-Land (Arcade, 1984)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDxexnUIBOk
Notes: I figured something from Pac-Land should be here since this is the stage being played on. I would just pick the first song (ends at the 0:52 mark), but a medley incorporating the second part as well would be cool.

5: Pac-Attack Medley (Title and Puzzle Fever)
Origin: Pac-Attack (Arcade, 1993)
Links:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CKiu_LkJ1M (title theme)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pe3X_SuMiOQ (Puzzle Fever)
Notes: About halfway through the title theme portion of the song, it will switch to the puzzle fever portion. Although the links here are rather slow, I think it would be cool to literally Jazz them up with a jazz arrangement in the game.

6: The Village
Origin: Pac-In-Time (SNES, 1994)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3CEHQCeei8
Notes: A fun little song that I think would fit the feeling of a Smash Bros fight, and I went with the village song since the Pac-Land stage is in a city, and cities are kind of like villages, right? (It sounded better in my head.)

7: Pac-Man World 2 Main Theme
Origin: Pac-Man World 2 (GCN/PS2/Xbox/PC, 2002)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCVCr1Fe8g4
Notes: I don't know about anyone else, but I love Pac-Man World 2. I think there should be a song from the Pac-Man World era of games, and so I went with the main theme to my favorite in the trilogy.

8: Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness (Menu Theme)
Origin: Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness (PSX/N64/Dreamcast, 2000)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPWwkHPkh2w
Notes: Ms. Pac-Man is just as popular as her husband, and since she isn't an alternate costume (although she's most likely a trophy) I wanted to include a song that represented her. The original arcade Ms. Pac-Man soundtrack doesn't have much to offer, but her other starring role does, so I went with the menu theme, which I think sounds pretty cool.

9: Pac-Rainbow
Origin: Pac-Man Championship Edition DX (XBLA/PSN/PC, 2010)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6B5I3wr9Lbs
Notes: Designed by Pac-Man's original creator, I think it would be appropriate to have a song from that game in Smash Bros, and I think this is the best song from that game, so I put it here. (Fun fact, I have the top comment in the version that I linked, but that doesn't really mater here.)

10: Galaga
Origin: Galaga (Arcade, 1981)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tv1yDpsmh4I
Notes: Pac-Man and Galaga are Namco's two biggest classics, and we even elements of the game as an item and part of Pac-Man's moveset! I think having something similar to the linked video or something like my number 2 pick but for Galaga would be awesome to have. (Hopefully it isn't too repetitive.)

Final Destination:

1: Final Destination
Origin: Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS & Wii U (2014)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jjQ0Ttn05E
Notes: An obvious pick, as it was made just for this stage.

2: Menu (Melee) Ver. 2
Origin: Super Smash Bros. Melee (GameCube, 2001)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kP8V7NwOiRs
Notes: I actually prefer this over the new Final Destination theme.

3: Credits (Super Smash Bros.)
Origin: Super Smash Bros (Nintendo 64, 1999)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrHIADT-R2A
Notes: Gotta have something from the original.

4: Final Destination (Brawl)
Origin: Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii, 2008)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLJuT8zPmvA
Notes: Personally, I think this is the best final destination theme in the series.

5: Multi-Man Melee 2
Origin: Super Smash Bros. Melee (GameCube, 2001)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLND_im2gks
Notes: Even though it's just Melee's opening, it's a really awesome song and I would love to see it come back.

6: Tabuu
Origin: Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii, 2008)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utOa8ZMKwSA
Notes: Although the SSE is gone, that doesn't mean we can't have music from it. Tabuu's theme was really sweet, and I would like to see it make a comeback.

7: Final Destination - '99
Origin: Super Smash Bros. (Nintendo 64, 1999)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSO4QP5OKao
Notes: I feel for the original game getting shafted in the music department, so I decided to throw it a bone with the original Final Destination theme.

8: Super Smash Bros. Series Medley
Origin: Super Smash Bros. Melee, Brawl, and for Wii U (GameCube, 2001/Wii, 2008/Wii U 2014)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QIWe2vJynE
Notes: String Player Gamer is a total boss at this stuff, and I've been wanting a Smash Bros medley for a long time. The main themes of each Smash Bros game are iconic pieces of music on their own, so I think it would be awesome to see them paid tribute in a medley.

Gaur Plains:
Before I get into this list, I wanted to say that I think Xenoblade is already really well represented with the five confirmed songs, so I decided to go a little out of the box with the last three picks, which might come back to bite me. but nothing ventured, nothing gained!

1: Engage the Enemy
Origin: Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii, 2010-2012)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAW4xlbyu28
Notes: I love this song. I didn't think it would make it in since it's slower, but I'm ecstatic to see it here.

2: One Who Gets in Our Way
Origin: Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii, 2010-2012)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JS7XVMNNZI8
Notes: Not my first pick, but it is the boss music so I can see why it would be here.

3: Gaur Plains
Origin: Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii, 2010-2012)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBFuJKM1VjI
Notes: Definitely have to have the area's theme, and might as well link to the 3DS version since they'll probably go with that on the Wii U version.

4: You Will Know Our Names
Origin: Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii, 2010-2012)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooZyHLLQ5e8
Notes: I can see this quickly becoming the iconic Xenoblade theme. It was already pretty awesome in its home game, but since it's been used as Shulk's reveal trailer theme, as well as his victory theme and even as part of the Xenoblade medley, it might as well be the Xenoblade main theme at this point. (Which is a little disappointing as I like the actual main theme.) With a song this epic, I had to link to the 30 minute version.

5: Xenoblade Chronicles Medley
Origin: Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii, 2010-2012)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQqqmbuQAjY
Notes: I don't know if this is a spoiler or not as it was in the opening post for this round, but I managed to find a link to the full version of the song! It's pretty sweet, although a tad redundant as two of the songs in the medley are already here in their entirety, but whatever. It still sounds really good.

6: Xenoblade Chronicles X
Origin: Xenoblade Chronicles X (Wii U, 2015)
Links:
Website Theme: http://youtu.be/Tlxd6bt8MUg?t=1m11s
E3 2013 Trailer: http://youtu.be/atTvHk9CxOM?t=42s
Notes: Smash is always including content from unreleased games, and since XCX is a big upcoming title for them, I thought it would be cool to have some music from the game, so I decided to combine two of the major pre-release songs. First we have the piece that plays on the website, which will start at the 1:11 mark and go to the 2:60 mark, which transitions into the buildup of the E3 2013 song starting at the 0:42 mark. When it finishes the vocal part, we come to the 1:07 part of the website theme and start over again.

7: Theme of The Last Story
Origin: The Last Story (Wii, 2011/2012)
Link: http://youtu.be/H7gFNER7Wx4?t=2m24s
Notes: I'm putting this in here as it was a part of the Operation Rainfall movement, and Zael has a trophy in the game. I couldn't decide between the title theme, this, or the battle theme, but I decided to go with this since it's technically the main theme. I think starting at the 2:24 mark would be better since that's where the song gets really good, then it can loop back to that point at the 4:06 mark.

8: Catenae Fortunae (Dies Irae)
Origin: Pandora's Tower (Wii, 2011-2013)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jq6rEh9WjIg

Notes: And here's our other Operation Rainfall game. Poor PT gets ignored most of the time, but I think having a song to represent it would be cool, and it's a pretty good song.

And that is it! I hope you like my picks!

It's so surreal that the thread the got me to join Smashboards is ending, and the Wii U version of the game is coming out in a little over a week. It seems that time goes by faster the older I get...

Well, excuuuuuse ME, prin uh, Ascended! Since when did we say we were finished with the contest after this round? There ARE quite a few 3DS stages we have backlogged that could use some extra music...=P
EDIT: Uh, actually, let me get back to you on that...

Anyway, announcements! This round will keep it's submission period open until the week of Smash Bros. U's release. We don't have an exact date yet, but know that anyone who hasn't submitted all 5 stages have plenty of time to do that! As for what makes that "announcements" plural, i'm trying to update the Hall of Accuracy Fame, and will promptly add it to the OP as I did the 3rd section of the grading Hall of Fame.

Late, but not too late.

[collapse=Windy Hill Zone]
Track: Windy Hill Zone (Act 1)
Source: Sonic Lost World (Wii U/3DS, 2013)
Reason: Confirmed. And obvious.

Track: Wonder World
Source: Sonic Lost World (Wii U/3DS, 2013)
Reason: Confirmed (Unfortunately; I dislike Lost World's soundtrack)

Track: Open Your Heart
Source: Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast, 1998)
Reason: Confirmed. Besides, you gotta have something from the first true 3D Sonic game.

Track: Live and Learn
Source: Sonic Adventure 2 (Dreamcast, 2001)
Reason: Confirmed, in the 3DS version, and an obvious returner otherwise. A huge fan-favorite. Essentially the de facto theme of the series at this point.

Track: Sonic Heroes
Source: Sonic Heroes (GameCube, 2003)
Reason: Confirmed long ago in Sonic's reveal trailer. I wouldn't have chosen the song normally (instead opting for other music from Heroes), but it is rather catchy, and I think it fits the stage well, as Windy Hill closely resembles the opening areas of Sonic Heroes. It's important to represent the game, since Sega uses it as a base for the modern incarnation of the Sonic series, and it was Sonic's first original appearance on a Nintendo home console.

Track: Green Hill Zone
Source: Sonic the Hedgehog (Genesis, 1991)
Reason: I really shouldn't have to explain this.

Track: Special Stage
Source: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Genesis, 1992)
Reason: Sonic 2 is one of the most beloved games in the franchise, so it's due its musical representation. The special stages from that game are particularly notable and iconic. This zany tune is my pick for a "Right There, Ride On" replacement, with its wacky instrumentation and fast tempo. A remix would be fantastic.

Track: Lava Reef Zone (Act 1)
Source: Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (Genesis, 1993)
Reason: It's hard to pick from so many beloved classic tunes. I chose Lava Reef Zone to represent the Michael Jackson-inspired Sonic 3 soundtrack, as I think the stage could use some more "serious" beats to contrast the whimsy of the other instrumental tracks and the narm of the vocal songs.

Track: Rooftop Run
Source: Sonic Unleashed (Wii, 2008)
Reason: A fresh new fan-favorite, and it's easy to see why. The song inspires a whimsical sense of speed, yet also contains elements that suggest peace and harmony: perfect for the setting of the stage. I went with the original from Sonic Unleashed here. Generations' Modern remix is my least favorite version of the tune. I think the original has the most unique and pleasant instrumentation.

Track: Planet Wisp (Act 1)
Source: Sonic Colors (Wii/DS, 2009)
Reason: Sonic Colors is, in many ways, the quintessential "Nintendo" Sonic game. It was exclusive to the Wii and DS, and launched the aesthetic and tonal style of the modern Sonic franchise. It takes more than a few cues from Nintendo's roster of platformers, and its, well colorful expression means that many youngsters who know Sonic on Nintendo today probably think of Colors first. In my opinion, Planet Wisp is the musical piece that most stands within this game's soundtrack. Foregoing the rock guitars and techno-inspired electronic instruments for a simple piano melody, the piece is emblematic of much of what makes Sonic games what they are. It's neither entirely melancholy or cheerful, evocative of the nature/industry clash at the forefront of the series' grounding theme, yet it is certainly more subdued than the typical Sonic music. The greenery and nature of the level it originally accompanied are echoed in Windy Hill's design, and I think it was a disservice to use yet another vocal song instead of this piece in the actual game. Yes, I realize Reach for the Stars was mandatory. I don't care. I'd rather not win with that song on my list.
[/collapse]

[collapse=Pac-Land]
Track: Pac-Man's Park/Block Town
Source: Pac-Mania (Arcade, 1987)
Reason: The Pac-Man franchise's official theme song these days, it's an amazing remix that's already been confirmed.

Track: PAC-MAN
Source: Pac-Man (Arcade, 1980)
Reason: Confirmed new remix. I love the vaudeville sound in this remix. Fits the quaint little town in the Pac-Land stage perfectly.

Track: PAC-MAN (Club Mix)
Source: Pac-Man (Arcade, 1980)
Reason: Confirmed new remix.

Track: Pac-Man Cup
Source: Mario Kart Arcade GP (Arcade, 2005)
Reason: The Pac-Man Cup theme is an absolute joy of an electronic composition that incorporates the original Pac-Land theme. Said theme played throughout the entire game in Pac-Land, so it's mandatory to have its theme on this stage in some form. The game it comes from is historically relevant for marking an important partnership between Namco and Nintendo, and for bridging the Pac-Man and Mario worlds for the first time, which ultimately culminated in it being fully realized in Smash later on.

Track: King Galaxian
Source: Pac-Man World (PlayStation, 1999)
Reason: The game marked the first full-fledged 3D adventure for our yellow hero, so it's only appropriate we give it some musical representation. This final boss theme is a spacey and sinister piece which incorporates the tune of the famed Galaga theme. As a sister franchise to Pac-Man, Galaga is already represented in Smash Bros. as an item and in Pac-Man's moveset, so this track would be a nice way to kill two birds with one stone: representing Pac-Man World and Galaga alike.

Track: B-Doing Woods
Source: Pac-Man World 2 (GameCube/GBA, 2002)
Reason: It's really between this and Pac-Village for the most liked PMW2 tracks (of which there are many), but I think Pac-Village is a little too slow-paced for the relatively quick scrolling on this stage. B-Doing Woods has a catchy, original beat that also incorporates the encompassing Pac-Man World 2 main theme, which is also the basis for Pac-Village's theme. Explanation aside, I think the bombastic drums and happy little melody typify the Pac-Man "style" of music quite well.

Track: Cleopactra
Source: Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness (N64/GBA, 2000)
Reason: Pac-Man World's sister game is often forgotten, but if it's known for one thing, it's this amazingly catchy synth track that perfectly captures that 80s feel which the Pac-Man brand is so well-known for. Its steady supporting rhythm matches up well with the scroll-pace of the stage, and I ultimately think that the overall "sound" is too perfect a representation of the series to not include.

Track: Championship BGM 1
Source: Pac-Man Championship Edition (XBLA, 2007)
Reason: The Championship series is renowned for its astounding house/rave/trance music, which give a modern uplift to the electronic melodies heard in the Pac-Man games of yore. The first release in the series - probably the most played and familiar of the bunch - gives us an excellent sample with its basic background music, which plays throughout gameplay and was featured in every Championship release thereafter. It has arguably the most accessible melody of the series' tracks, and its exposure probably makes it the most recognizable piece as well, so I chose it as my obligatory Championship music pick.

Track: Chapter 1 Theme
Source: Pac-Pix (DS, 2005)
Reason: A happy little ditty from an overlooked but notable early DS release, the basic Chapter 1 music from Pac-Pix has a fitting tempo and comparably appropriate sound for a nice stroll through town...so it fits like a glove on this stage! It has a nice little transition section as well, which, in a well-composed remix, could be timed to match up with the end goal/return home breaks in the stage.

Track: Classic Namco Medley
Source: Various Namco arcade games
Reason: Pac-Man's also here in Smash to represent the other retro Namco titles he's so often associated with. Let's give them all chance to shine with a classic Namco medley, which I propose in the same spirit as the Famicom medleys already featured in Smash (although having all of the music be remixed would be welcome as well). I linked to an example of what a Namco medley could sound like, as featured in Taiko no Tatsujin, but I'm not necessarily requesting that exact piece be used in Smash.
[/collapse]

Will probably add to this later.
