Ah well you see, "dis pear" is a meme centered around the weird pronunciation of the word despair used by...ah, it doesn't really matter, you've seen the big bold text below this by now anyway. =P
Round Twenty-seven: Midgar
Universe: Final Fantasy
Game of origin: Final Fantasy VII (1997)

Cloud was a mercenary working for the AVALANCHE gang, awesome eco-terrorists who you'd probably wanna b. He got trapped in a reactor shortly after his last raid, and got shot into a slum where he could've gotten Squaids (that's squirrel AIDS, for anyone who's wondering at home.) Anyway, he met the slum drunk a girl inside the Midgar zone. Her name was Aeris Aerith and Cloud soon became her bodyguard. She knew how to work a staff and she - what? I'm listening to music over here!

As this is a 3rd Party stage, we're tossing you an extra 2 spots, 10 songs instead of 8! There's technically no pre-confirmed songs either, so play to your heart's content!

It was in the trailer.

2. Fight On! (FF7)
It was in the trailer.

3. One-Winged Angel (Advent Children)
I was thinking about holding this one back, but this song is just too popular. The remix in Advent Children gets priority over the original.

4. First Mission / Bombing Mission (Crisis Core)
Although the original Opening theme was present in the trailer, I think the remix in Crisis Core is a lot more fitting for Smash.

5. The Decisive Battle (FF6)
One of the more popular FF tracks.

6. Battle on the Bridge (FF5)
A song that many FF players really love.

7. Prelude (FF)
Although this one is the FF7 version, the Prelude is in every Final Fantasy game, so any version can be applied. It will pop up somewhere in a Smash remix.

8. Battle (FF10)
One of the better selling FF games.

I was slightly tempted to put in music from Chrono Trigger and Bravely Default, but I went strictly Final Fantasy for this one.
