Mac Baby charges towards Mega Man, but the SUPER FIGHTING ROBOT tags the boxer with a Crash Bomb and uses Rush to get the heck out of there! The bomb explodes, knocking Mac down. The diminutive boxer uses the ropes to climb to his feet as Doc Louis yells encouragement, but it looks like Mega Man has taken an early lead!

Little Mac rushes at Mega Man with a vengeance! Rock summons his Leaf Shield to protect himself, but the punch is mightier than the shield! Mac leads with two blows to the chest and follows through with a devastating uppercut! Mega Man goes flying into the ropes and slides down to the floor of the ring. The Super Fighting Robot manages to get up at the count of five, but it's clear that Mac has tied this thing up!

Hmm, Wily's Castle lets us focus on just Mega Man music, but WBVA Ring gives a larger pool of songs thanks to Punch Out having a relatively small amount of unique songs. Hmmmmm....

If I could make a suggestion, we could also do some cross-promotional pollenation with the make-a-stage game thread and do songlists off of winning stages.

I'd be willing to adopt this as an inter-round event of sorts for the stage thread. Users could put forth music selections, and either the judges or the users could vote for their favorite tracklist.

Remember that the Boxing Ring has a Punch-Out version and Smash version. So Smash series songs would work as well...

Rainbow Road's the best track on the game, IT'S A SPACE STATION, A RAINBOW ROAD THAT RUNS THROUGH A SPACE STATION...! It's beautiful, it's got great music, it focuses more on pure driving skills with tricky curves and precise turns than throwing a bunch of hazards at you, but no, people pick Donut Plains over the best Rainbow Road in the series.

I guess we're going to go with the terribly-wrong assumption that third-parties don't deserve their spot in Smash as much as the other characters. Whee! Training, Main Theme...and that's pretty much it! Totally better than Wily's Castle 1, Galaxy Man, Crash Man, Quick Man, Spark Man, We're The Robots, Storm Eagle...

So far, the confirmed Punch-Out songs are:
Jogging/Get up Little Mac! (A medley that played on the Boxing Ring during the E3 demo and tournament.)
NES Punch-Out fight theme remix. (As can be heard in the first minute of BillyTheKidd's video.)
Get Up Little Mac Original (As can be heard when wireframe Mac is shown in the same video. )

@ D-idara : I like you, and maybe you've just caught me at a bad week, but I haven't seen anyone in this voting process make such a claim regarding third-parties. Also, it's obvious that you haven't played the Punch-Out series if all you can pull out is two songs. There's plenty of songs from both Super Punch-Out and Punch-Out Wii that can be used, plus songs from other boxing/fighting games that can be used. (Teleroboxer, Pro Wrestling, Joy Mech Fight, even gosh darn Rhythm Heaven) So don't act like there aren't enough songs to make a list, and stop putting down the people who want to do the Boxing Ring.
