Tbh, I've never played Nintendogs. Even then, I don't think there's many "memorable" tracks from Nintendogs.
Think of it as a stage to use songs from obscure Nintendo games. Chibi-Robo. Pullblox. Use your Ninten-no-how!

Notes: The first thing that I think of when it comes to dogs and Nintendo is Duck Hunt, so I wanted a song from that game to represent it. However, each song is only like 7 seconds, so I found a pretty sweet remix that incorporates sound effects and those short songs from the game to make a pretty cool song. I don't expect this exact song to be in the game, but I think a remix similar to this is something that we cold see in the game, and it would be pretty cool.

Anyways, Nintendogs. Interesting! I'll probably do this within the 'morrow. I'm familiar enough with both games to make a list. I'm concerned about score saturation this time around though, as a lot of Nintendogs music to make the cut may end up being too similar. Throw in some wildcards and you may have a better chance.

Also, mentally prepared my soundtrack for Rainbow Road already. You better watch out!

Like the Ablaze tracks on Arena Ferox, this thingie here's designed so Championship Cup starts when the battle gets good...I really like the tournament themes on Nintendogs but I really feel like advancing through the ranks was such a big part of the game's appeal, so I couldn't just pick one! And to get a little Nintencats representation, I added the Swordplay track, which sounds pretty interesting, gives me kind of a **** N' Boots vibe.

The fun of simulation games often comes from the strangest places! (Hitting people with a net, anyone?). This kinda sounds like a fusion of Apotos - Day and Empire City - Day from Sonic Unleashed...

It's true, Duck Hunt's the first thing that comes to mind when you think about Dogs + Nintendo, but I don't like the repeating loops that most Duck Hunt mixes use...I'd like an instrumentation similar to SSBB's Donkey Kong Redux, where the main loops and music from the original game are used as a main rhythm and then an original song's built on top of the tempo/rhythm/melody they create. It's a really interesting way of remixing a song that I haven't seen much.

Yes...Pokemon's a franchise that'll get a lot of stages and Nintendogs does have music to choose from...but I just couldn't leave this out! It even sounds similar to Nintendogs music! And Pokemon-Amie IS some kind of Nintendogs Parody/Spin-Off after all. It was between this and the PokeContest theme, but I decided that a fully-orchestrated (A-La Pokemon Center) version of PokeContest on Pokemon Stadium was just too good to have it on a Nintendogs stage.

The oddball pick! I guess, aside from Championship Cup, that this sounds the most fight-esque of all the songs on my list...maybe it's a bit too serious...but for some reason, something about looking at those hills on the background with this theme playing just seems...magical? Like, the opposite of the stage, a dog running wild!

Reason: Well, first of all, it's the main theme and its confirmed variant, the bath theme. The idea here is for the track to open up with the memorable title theme, then transition to the more peppy, battle-appropriate Bath Time; a way to evoke both the relaxing and energetic parts of the original game. A personal idea would be to have the music transition to the bath theme when the dog in the background becomes more rowdy and begins interacting with the players.

Reason: It's catchy, it's got a nice harmony, and it's a perfect balance between the playfulness of Nintendogs and the pressure of a Smash Bros. fight. It's memorable, too. Almost anyone who's played Nintendogs can attest to hearing this tune a million times as their new puppies fail time and time again to figure out how to run through a tunnel.

Reason: If you play Nintendogs, you hear it all the time. It's too ingrained in the conscious of the game itself to not be included.

Reason: It's got a solid melody. Definitely enough for a fight. It'll probably be remembered in the same way the dog show themes from the first game are.

Source: Clubhouse Games / 42 All-Time Classics (DS, 2005)
Reason: Clubhouse Games is one of the definitive games of Nintendo's highly successful Touch Generations! label, of which Nintendogs is also a part. These simple, approachable titles helped drive the DS' popularity and defined much of the system's lifespan. This simple, catchy tune fits right at home on this stage, and offers up a bit more quick-paced energy than most of the other tracks here.

Source: Pushmo (3DS, 2011)
Reason: I think it's easy to see why. The light-hearted, childlike simplicity of the song makes it the perfect fit for a stage composed of colorful toy blocks and playful puppies. Also noteworthy for the choice of this track is Pushmo's huge success and popularity, and resulting unofficial status as the premier 3DS "casual" title, which mirrors in much the same way the role that Nintendogs played on the original DS. Such a notable handheld title should be represented in a stage like this.

Reason: The domestic, household settings of the Chibi Robo games would suggest that their music is just as fitting in the living room environment of the Nintendogs stage. Bright and cheerful, and at times a bit wacky, the music from these games would fit right at home here. I chose music from the first handheld game in the series, Park Patrol, to keep within the theme of handheld music. Even though the game primarily takes place outside the home, I think that the music still fits well in the Nintendogs universe. After all, a park is one of the few locations that can be visited in Nintendogs.

Source: Cubivore: Survival of the Fittest (GameCube, 2002)
Reason: Okay, I broke the handheld-only rule for this one track. Why? Because Cubivore is a crazy unique game that needs some sort of representation, and its oddly serene easy listening music, while ironically not a good fit for the game it originates from, fits snuggly into the Nintendogs world. Nothing from this game is popular, so I'll obviously be losing points on iconicness, but I hope that it fits well enough to make up for that.

Reasoning: So, I included Tetris Type A. Sue me. A ragtime, like the version above, minus the Avicii parts, would truly add something to the Nintendogs stage, and is classic enough to warrant a spot. Besides, Tetris was to the Game Boy as Nintendogs was to the DS: While both handhelds had major games for video game players such as the Mario, Kirby, Pokemon, Zelda and Metroid series, bringing in a casual game to each increased the sales of both, boradening the audienced. I believe somebody said “You sell it with a Mario game, you sell it to kids. You sell it with Tetris, you sell it to everybody.” Originally, this spot belonged to a Brain Age song, but I realized the Type A theme must be included.

Note: This is the first non-Nintendogs theme I put into my list. I just feel that this music has the same atmosphere of those games and would be a great fit.
