No. I just beat him, don't feed him, or send him out into the wilderness when he does things I don't like.

It's called "tough love."

YES! LET'S GO! LET'S GO!

I decided to focus on handheld titles for this stage, seeing as it is the focus for the 3DS version and Fire Emblem really made a name on handhelds.

#1
Name: Fire Emblem Main Theme*
Universe: Fire Emblem
Game It's Originally From: Fire Emblem: AnkokuRyu to Hikari no Tsurugi (1990)
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlVu0Ter0-Q
Comments: I was originally going to use the Awakening title screen arrange of this song, but that was only 36 seconds long and doesn't even get into the main parts of the song. Therefore, I thought the Brawl arrange was more important to demonstrate the vision I have of this song. Anyways, this is the main theme that spans the entire series. Who's to count out this iconic, timeless tune?

#2
Name: Duty (Ablaze)
Universe: Fire Emblem
Game It's Originally From: Fire Emblem: Awakening (2013)
Link: [urlhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-J16DLsVkg][/url]
Comments: The default song that plays when you first battle in Arena Ferrox. Wouldn't be surprised if it is the default song for this stage as well. It's a steady, heart-pounding tune that is perfect for a duel. Works well in an arena setting. The varying points of tempo and instruments in this song also have somewhat of a majestic touch, making you ponder an emotional tone of the battle.

#3
Name: Conquest (Ablaze)
Universe: Fire Emblem
Game It's Originally From:Fire Emblem: Awakening (2013)
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8ZCdYA9OBg
Comments: This action-packed tune always played whenever you replayed a chapter you already beat or fought a SpotPass team. It finds you in so many places that it sticks onto you. I also love how it combines percussion, wind, and even what sounds like electric keyboard so well.

#4
Name: Don't Speak Her Name!
Universe: Fire Emblem
Game It's Originally From: Fire Emblem: Awakening (2013)
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21O9x8nYoqY
Comments: A sentimental, solemn change in tone conducted in grandeur. This tune plays immediately after **** goes down in Chapter 13, and its beauty reflects the memory of a certain exalt. Contrasts from the mood of Arena Ferrox.

#5
Name: Id -Purpose-
Universe: Fire Emblem
Game It's Originally From: Fire Emblem: Awakening (2013)
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjL_SV8GXyw
Comments: The final boss theme of the game which gives rises the epic tone of the game with a climatic battle against the dark fell dragon, Grima. The dramatic mood this track plays would be perfect for a fighting game.

#6
Name: Clash of Two Virtues
Universe: Fire Emblem
Game It's Originally From: Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (2007)
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QelFaW2lLhg
Comments: A fast-paced, intense track. It is said that this comes at a chapter where Marth is faced with a fatal duel. Otherwise, the electric guitar and keyboard really stand out and fits well with the action of Arena Ferrox.

#7
Name: Together We Ride*
Universe: Fire Emblem
Game It's Originally From: Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword (2003)
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yERQqvP0598
Comments: A fast-paced song set for a tenacious battle. This song has actually appeared in Super Smash Bros. Melee and occasionally plays in Hyrule Castle, albeit remixed. This would go perfect with the gladiatorial tone of Arena Ferrox.

#8
Name: Truth, Despair, and Hope*
Universe: Fire Emblem
Game It's Originally From: Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (2004)
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJC9o4owHgM
Comments: A steady, orchestrated track from Sacred Stones, an important game that brings its own unique world and the first for an international release. Well, wherever in the world you may be, someone may fondly remember this tune. The tone seems to set the impression of an epic adventure. Just imagine the expansion of this song if it were remixed.

*: Remix plausible

(Don't you guys remember Cousin APC99? I brought hummus every Christmas eve!)

I'll update my list soon, even though I know absolutely nothing about FE.

I wonder how many people will go for the "Ablaze" version of songs from FE13 rather than the standard themes?

1. Fire Emblem: Main Theme - FE: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light
- Main Theme is a must.
- Couldn't find the original version without the intro section. Sorry.

2. Duty (Ablaze) - Fire Emblem Awakening
- Plays during the chapter that Arena Ferox takes place in.
- Also plays during the first few chapters of the game.

3. "Here we are! The shepherd's garrison" - Fire Emblem Awakening
- Probably the closest thing Chrom himself has to a theme.

4. Id (Purpose) - Fire Emblem Awakening
- Seems to be really popular.

5. Battle Map 1 (Alm) - Fire Emblem: Gaiden
- Seemed like a good fit.
- Did get a remix in FE6 and it appeared in FE13's Alm DLC.

6. Final Chapter (The Final Holy War) - Fire Emblem: Geanology of the Holy War
- Seems like a good fit.
- Was one of the few FE songs to get an orchestraed version.

7. Legend of the Divine Dragon - Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem
- Is one of the more recurring themes in the series.
- Serves as Tiki's Theme (who's one of the few recurring characters in the series).
- Is one of the few FE songs to get an orechestraed version.
- Choose this version because it has a bit more energy.

8. Eternal Bond - Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn (Brawl)
- Seems to be really popular.
- More or less Ike's Theme.

There's a few songs I want to add from FE3/12, but I'll hold off on them for now.

Well, ANYTHING CAN CHANGE! So we'll see if I can Awaken out of fifth place with this Binding, Blazing, Sacred entry!

Name: Duty/Duty ~ Ablaze
Universe: Fire Emblem
Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening (3DS, 2013)
Link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_6VN6AOo9U (Duty)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEuUuA29h-Y (Duty - Ablaze)
Notes: Since each battle song in Awakening has a version to play on the map and when you're fighting a unit, I thought that both versions should be in. How this works is the Awakening tracks with an Ablaze version will be dynamic songs, meaning that the song will shift to the Ablaze version when it looks like the round is about to end (1 minute left in time matches, a player has one stock left, or a player is just totally dominating.) I thought this would work better to capture the feel of Awakening's battle music better than just having the Ablaze version play for the second loop. Also, this is the song that plays in the Arena Ferox chapter of Awakening.

Name: Destiny/Destiny ~ Ablaze
Universe: Fire Emblem
Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening (3DS, 2013)
Link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3R4PE8SMTY (Destiny)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wy039eKE5eo (Destiny - Ablaze)
Notes: Just a really cool and popular song.

Name: Conquest/Conquest ~ Ablaze
Universe: Fire Emblem
Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening (3DS, 2013)
Link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUKr66uRS7M (Conquest)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWHLgEEtqmg (Conquest ~ Ablaze)
Notes: My personal favorite battle song from Awakening, this also plays in the random battles with the Risen and it's an awesome remix of the Fire Emblem Main Theme.

Name: Don't Speak Her Name!
Universe: Fire Emblem
Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening (3DS, 2013)
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWO4ff1HXYY
Notes: A very popular and awesome piece. This song only plays once in the game, but it plays in a very important chapter and is great battle music.

Name: Id ~ Purpose
Universe: Fire Emblem
Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening (3DS, 2013)
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bio99hoZVYI
Notes: This is my all time favorite song from Fire Emblem: Awakening, but that isn't the only reason I included it. First, it's an awesome track. Second, it's the final boss song so you know it plays at an important moment in the game. Third, it's a combination of Robin's (AKA The Avatar/My Unit) theme and the Fire Emblem Main Theme, and lastly, it's got the lyrics from Brawl's version of the Fire Emblem Main Theme. A totally epic piece that I fully expect to be in this game.

Name: Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword Medley (Girl From the Plains, Together We Ride, and Winning Road)
Universe: Fire Emblem
Origin: Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword (GBA, 2003), Fire Emblem: The Dark Dragon and The Sword of Light (Famicom, 1990)
Links:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_5V1CycyEk (Girl From the Plains)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yERQqvP0598 (Together We Ride)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=du_nTi5d7u8 (Winning Road)
Notes: I figured there should be some music to represent the first international Fire Emblem game, but I couldn't decide on one single piece so I put them together in a medley. Girl From the Plains to represent Lyn (since she was an AT in Brawl), Together We Ride because it's iconic, and Winning Road to give it a nice winding down feeling and link us back to the beginning.

Name: Determination
Universe: Fire Emblem
Origin: Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (GBA, 2005)
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Th5M1MsOJZM
Notes: Sacred Stones needs some love, so I threw in a song that seemed pretty cool.

Name: Shaman in the Dark
Universe: Fire Emblem
Origin: Fire Emblem: Binding Blade (GBA, 2002)
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCW7kazmmj4
Notes: Also wanted a piece to represent the first handheld Fire Emblem, so I chose the final boss music. I think this would sound awesome with a full orchestra/Awakening quality music

So that's my entry. I decided to focus exclusively on the handheld games for this stage, and I thought that including the FE Main Theme on its own would be overkill since it's already a part of Conquest and Id ~ Purpose. Hope you like it!

I've not played much of Fire Emblem either, but that won't stop me! Even if it should...

Name: Main Theme
Universe: Fire Emblem
Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening (2013)
Reason: The main theme to the newest Fire Emblem game. It has quiet moments, intense moments, triumphant moments; a great tour de force track. It may not scream "battle" at the top of it's lungs, but it does scream "Fire Emblem" and I think it sells the atmosphere.
Name: Duty
Universe: Fire Emblem
Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening (2013)
Reason: A very adventurous battle theme that plays during the Arena Ferox stage. So it is both relevant to the stage and appropriate for the stage tone. I went with the Ablaze version for added edge.
Name: Awakening Medley M
Universe: Fire Emblem
Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening (2013)
Reason: Oh god so intense. Misericorde's immediately intense opening leads into a tense build up that transitions into the high-octane Miscreant and Menace before finishing up with the sinister Mastermind theme complete with vocals. Did I already say intense? Like 3 times?
Name: Together We Ride
Universe: Fire Emblem
Origin: Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (2008)
Reason: The Fire Emblem theme in Melee was easily my favorite track of the game. And even with the massive ton of music in Brawl, it still managed to crack my top ten in that game too. So suffice to say, I love this track. I am really digging the Shadow Dragon variant to the song, so I'd like to see that one show up on this stage. Why am I still explaining it? I don't thin anyone can deny how awesome this song is.
Name: Clash of Two Virtues
Universe: Fire Emblem
Origin: Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (2008)
Reason: Speaking of Shadow Dragon, how about this hot number? When listening to the soundtrack, this one stuck out and I went back to listen to it over and over. I can imagine fighting to this song over and over again.
Name: Rise Above
Universe: Fire Emblem
Origin: Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (2005)
Reason: Sacred Stones is my first Fire Emblem game, thanks to the 3DS Ambassador package. It has some really strong music in it and this is a personal favorite. It feels regal and grand, which are elements that really stand out with the strongest FE songs.
Name: Will Of One
Universe: Fire Emblem
Origin: Fire Emblem: Binding Blade (2002)
Reason: I wanted to include a good "1 on 1" sounding song. Something that really felt like a duel (it is an arena, after all). Roy's Battle theme seems to do the trick nicely.
Name: Don't Speak Her Name!
Universe: Fire Emblem
Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening (2013)
Notes: Last minute roster switch! This was left off my original list because I was weary about using 4 Awakening tracks, but that seems to be on par for just about everyone else, and this track is certainly stronger than the previous track, Off To War. It is a very dramatic and operatic song, which is fitting for a Fire Emblem stage.

[collapse="GRC's Arena Ferox Song List"]
Gonna start off saying that "Ablaze" seems unnecessary to song titles. I'm going to leave them out, but will let you know if I'm using the ablaze version of a song. Also, there are plenty of handheld Fire Emblem titles to work with, so I'm going to do the best I can to avoid using console songs. It's a handheld stage, after all.

Name: Conquest
Series: Fire Emblem
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWHLgEEtqmg
Note: This is the "Ablaze" version of the song.
  • Easily one of the best and most memorable songs of Fire Emblem: Awakening. Easy to fight to, as well. There's no reason why anyone should not be using this.
  • It has the main-theme in there as well, so it doubles as a series-wide song as well. Gotta love that. The vibe excellently embodies the entire Fire Emblem series.
Name: Prelude
Series: Fire Emblem
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWU5rtvqBMg
  • Chose the map-version of the song due to how the ablaze version drowns out the melody too much. Those violins are too beautiful.
  • It has what appears to have been Awakening's individual "Main Le-motif", meaning the song can be seen as important.
  • A very serene yet still action-encouraging piece. Really makes it seem distinct from the rest of the tracks.
Name: Duty
Series: Fire Emblem
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEuUuA29h-Y
Note: This is the "Ablaze" version of the song.
  • Very fitting for Arena Ferox. That's because it was the song that played during the chapter in Arena Ferox fighting "Marth", of course!
  • Somewhat of a mix of serious and quirky. Alternating between marching drums and a natural-sounding flute, it definitely keeps you awake with how all over the place it is.
Name: Mastermind / Divine Decree
Series: Fire Emblem
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RweDVXPGye8
Note: Divine Decree is its "Ablaze" version.
  • A mix made by myself because the songs are so. Damn. Awesome. They each take place during the Walhart arc of Fire Emblem: Awakening, which in of itself was definitely important to the game.
  • I decided to mix the two because of how similar in vibe they are. I had a hard time choosing one over the other, so I went the "Unfounded Revenge / Smashing Song of Praise" route and simply made them complimentary pieces to one another.
  • Portrays a definitely sinister and, dare I say it, "epic" tone that you usually never see outside of final boss songs. Honestly, it deserves a spot simply for its scale and blood-lust inducement alone.
Name: Beneath a New Light
Series: Fire Emblem
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: Binding Blade
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qv48anlDq4c
  • Yay, GBA Fire Emblem music! This song was in both Binding Blade and Sword of Flame. That said, it's important to the Elibe saga of Fire Emblem.
  • Very cheerful in tone. I could imagine just how encouraging (and great) this song were it fully orchestrated and faster in tempo. This fits perfectly for a Fire Emblem stage.
Name: Distant Travels
Series: Fire Emblem
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: The Sword of Flame
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKYi81giDrQ
  • Very much a classic to Sword of Flame. I'd honestly go as far as to say that this is my favorite map tune of the entire GBA saga, despite my having greater nostalgia bonus from Sacred Stones.
  • Straight up all-business. Brawl's portrayal of "Preparing to Advance" and "Winning Road - Roy's Hope" shows me that GBA songs easily transition into being outright gorgeous when reorchestrated, meaning that this song would be an absolute treat to hear, especially since it's fits rather well with Arena Ferox's setting.
Name: Rise Above
Series: Fire Emblem
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1ZTxsScbR8
  • One of the more memorable songs from Sacred Stones, I feel. Appears on multiple maps, starting early in the game as well.
  • It's definitely a grim reminder that war is not all glory, yet it doesn't quite dip into being depressing. I absolutely love that in the sense that it perfectly embodies Fire Emblem's series-wide aesop. Fight hard and fight for a better future, so the future no longer holds this kind of misery. That said, it fits not just the stage but the series as a whole.
Name: Fire Emblem (Melee)
Series: Super Smash Bros.
Game of Origin: Super Smash Bros. Melee / Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragons and The Blade of Light
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75VzljdUE-s
  • Don't you dare make me have to explain myself on this one.

I'll give this a shot. I focused on handheld Fire Emblem music, but refrained from putting in New Mystery of the Emblem and Shadow Dragon songs for the most part. I have a feeling that there could be a second Fire Emblem stage just for Marth because of those games.

1. "Id ~ Purpose" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bio99hoZVYI
Source: Fire Emblem Awakening
This song is considered to be the Avatar's theme song, and is used for the epic final chapter. It also contains the Fire Emblem Main Theme.

2. "Don't Speak Her Name!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWO4ff1HXYY
Source: Fire Emblem Awakening
One of the most popular and most memorable themes in the game, and by now, the entire series. The chapter this song appears in marks a huge change in Chrom's purpose for fighting.

3. "Duty" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_6VN6AOo9U
Source: Fire Emblem Awakening
This is the song used in Chapter 4, which takes place in Arena Ferox. Now, most people would stick to the ablaze versions of each map theme they choose, but I think that some of the map themes are more memorable in their normal form. The ablaze version doesn't add much to this song, and I find it kind of intense on its own. I imagine that once this song is used, it would transition from the normal version to the ablaze version.

4. "Destiny ~ Ablaze" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wy039eKE5eo
Source: Fire Emblem Awakening
One of the best map themes in the game! Also very popular, and it contains the memorable theme that's strongly associated with Chrom.

5. "Rival" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FG1OEuU7l4Q
Source: Fire Emblem Awakening
This song plays during the cutscene where Chrom faces off against "Marth" in Arena Ferox. Also plays when you enter battle with "Marth" in this chapter.

6. "A Deadly Test of Might" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHsPsEsD71A
Source: Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon
The arena fight song for FE11, the remake of the first Fire Emblem, is a remix of Clash from Path of Radiance. So not only is it a song for the Fire Emblem handheld games, but a song that relates to Ike as well.

7. "Preparing to Advance" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rv4BG2PTmr0
Source: Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones + Super Smash Bros. Brawl
This song still holds up as one of the best in FE8, and I see no reason to scrap the Brawl remix.

8. "Beneath a New Light" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qv48anlDq4c
Source: Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals + Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword
I've never played FE6, but its about time for some of its music to be used in Super Smash Bros. in case Roy comes back. It also appears in FE7, so Westerners may recognize it too. This is a triumphant map theme that I think would work well with the stage.

Who was mad at you?

Hell yeah you can join.
Well, no one had liked my post. So I thought it was because they were mad at me for being a jerk to GRC.

Anyway, I apologize for the delay. I'm almost finished with my list. It should be up tonight.

Do I need to say anything? Don't Speak Her Name!'s a piece that manages to masterfully put together a whirwind of emotions and make for one of the most intense battles in the history of videogames...yes, it's THAT good, the way it makes you feel a bitter, overwhelming mix of sadness, anger, despair and even a touch of hope is AMAZING, and I wouldn't even touch it for SSBWiiU/3DS...just put it on the stage as it appeared on FE: Awakening and make it the Final Boss theme for Chrom's story too!

Name: Duty
Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening (2013)
Universe: Fire Emblem
Links:
Normal Version
Ablaze Version
This song's featured in the Arena Ferox chapter of the game and it's both important for Chrom and for'Marth' although it isn't the best music on the game. The Normal/Ablaze mechanic for music from Awakeningwould depend on four possible triggers:

- The timer reaches the middle (1:30 on a 3:00 battle)
- Half of one character's stocks are gone (1 on 2-stock battles)
- A character reaches 130% or more without dying (Fire Emblem Awakening being the 13th FE)
- More than half of someone's Stamina is gone (50HP on a 100HP battle)

The song wouldn't just transition seamlessly, though...the normal version would fade out a little during 5 seconds and then the Ablaze version fires up! (Pun completely intended!) from the start of the song to tell players...that **** just got real!

Name: Destiny
Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening (2013)
Universe: Fire Emblem
Links:
Normal Version
Ablaze Version
Destiny's one hell of a piece from FE:Awakening.

The Normal version sounds strategic, collected and tense enough to give that sense of battle.
The Ablaze version sets your damn soul on fire! (FE makes for some great pyropuns) It basically lives up to the name...like you're facing your fate and you'll do whatever it takes to change it! It's just such a perfect battle song, and that's why Destiny would change into the Ablaze version 25% faster than Duty (2:00 on a 3:00 battle, 1 on 3-Stock battles...etc). While Duty's Ablaze version sounds like the battle's ending, Destiny ~Ablaze~ sounds more like the battle has just started.

Name: Blazing Chaos ~Pseudo-Medley~
Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening (2013)
Universe: Fire Emblem
Link:
Misericorde
Menace
Chaos ~Ablaze~
Mastermind
This will be considered a pseudo-medley because Chaos ~Ablaze~ acts as the main part while the others are just the Intro and some bits. I considered this because I think ~Id~Purpose fits a console, castle-ish stage likeCastle Siege much better, and the evil, dark side of Awakening's music collection is nothing to laugh at, while we already have two 'Hopeful' and 'Victorious' songs in Duty and Destiny.
The thing starts out with Misericorde's sudden Intro segment before starting with Menace, going on until 0:15, where it builds up with intensity and then breaks down into a looming silence (Like, some low violins to keep tension) before exploding into Chaos ~Ablaze~ with a slightly faster tempo and maybe stronger choir sections to make it more intense? Chaos is one of my favorite songs from Awakening and I think it represents evil pretty well, some of Mastermind's choir sections would click pretty well with the melody from Chaos, too! (As long as the tempo's lowered a little)

Name: Truth, Fear And Hope
Origin: Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (GBA, 2005)
Universe: Fire Emblem
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAKaa6tfP6A
In my humble opinion, this is the coolest piece of music from the game, it has that 'tense but decided to win' Fire Emblem feeling that we all love so much! I think it should get an instrumentation similar to Preparing To Advance's Brawl version, with an upped tempo and stronger instruments that make it seem more like a battle song. I'd also love a breakdown at some point with a little bit of Determination thrown in, but not enough to override the main melody or make it seem like a medley, sorta like the Big Bad Baby Bowser bits in Athletic.

Another song from The Sacred Stones. I'd be happy with an instrumentation similar to Brawl's with a GBA-Breakdown halfway through the song (Like one of the Brinstar remixes in Brawl, or Tetris B-Type). Probably around 2:22 before it loops.

Name: Beyond the Distant Skies
Origin: Fire Emblem 6: Fūin no Tsurugi (2002, GBA)
Universe: Fire Emblem
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7w8QnBAVwY
Although I'm opposed to Roy's inclusion in the game (Just because Chrom's more relevant and better) this music's just great! It has a similar feeling to Duty...although it manages to sound just a little more heroic than theArena Ferox theme, I'd give it full instrumentation to make it sound even more victorious and heroic.

Name: Summer Of Bonds
Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening (2013)
Universe: Fire Emblem

Here's my ridiculous, oddball choice. This song would be unlocked along with Chrom's beach outfit (Beach Trousers) after being in water for a total amount of time. I think the Tropical theme suits the Fire Emblem main theme ridiculously well and it'd be nice to have some Delfino Plaza bits thrown in at certain points (Where it fits, of course!). For some reason, it seems to be good for the kind of lighthearted battling that's featured in Smash.

D-iadara, you know you're only allowed 1 medley per list, right?
If you are referring to the Ablaze versions, I will allow it as it is technically the same track.

Compare it to Delfino Plaza where it played the original and then the Yoshi version.

...Who are you again?
Um, no one. No one at all. (whistles while backing away)

[collapse=Everyone, look at my tracklist!]
1. Name: Duty~Ablaze
Universe: Fire Emblem
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening (3DS, 2013)
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEuUuA29h-Y

Reason: Originally, I couldn't find the Arena Ferox theme for some reason. Why aren't these music tracks properly labeled? Luckily, Shinpichu pointed me toward this song. Prior to this, I had Destiny, which sounded fitting. But this track is pretty good and is a pretty obvious choice now that I know it should be on here.

2. Name: Fire Emblem (Melee)
Universe: Fire Emblem
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragons and the Blade of Light (aka Fire Emblem 1) (Famicom, 1990)/Super Smash Bros. Melee (GCN, 2001)
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=75VzljdUE-s

Reason: You can't have Fire Emblem without this iconic track! If not for this track, Fire Emblem would still be in Japan (also Marth and Roy). So let's give credit where it is due.

3. Name: Main Theme
Universe: Fire Emblem
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening (3DS, 2013)
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLIZd7NpTbo

Reason: Hey, this is an Awakening stage, right? So, you can have the main Fire Emblem theme, with an onimous choir, and still fit this stage! I opted to include this over Brawl's main theme rendition (which would be perfect for a Wii U stage).

4. Name: Winning Road - Roy's Hope
Universe: Fire Emblem
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: Binding Blade (aka Fire Emblem 6) (GBA, 2002)
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8Ps7YZ3lo0

Reason: Roy's our boy! In all seriousness, this is a great song, had a version in Brawl, is tied to a Smash character many hope to return, and was the first handheld Fire Emblem.

5. Name: Attack
Universe: Fire Emblem
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword (aka Fire Emblem 7) (GBA, 2003)/Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii, 2008)
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvymJMU1K9A

Reason: My Brawl returning track is a simple one, but it's extremely catchy! This is the main battling theme for the first Fire Emblem to be released internationally. So it's pretty significant.

6. Name: Preparing to Advance
Universe: Fire Emblem
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (GBA, 2005)
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_p_Ks9lUu0

Reason: The final chapter of the GBA trilogy. This track may not be as intense, but it certainly fits in with battling, as a version of this ended up in Brawl.

7. Shadow Dragon Medley... Too?
Universe: Fire Emblem
Inspired by this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlSW8-dEwNk
Contains the following tracks...

Name: Onset
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (DS, 2009)
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7RYHlwNs4E

Name: Early Initiative
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem (DS, 2010)
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiCzT96BlAc

Name: Trouble!
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (DS, 2009)
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlEHThpBOjY

Name: Time to Act
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (DS, 2009)
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sAMZFmDShs

Name: Victory is Ours
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem (aka Fire Emblem 12) (DS, 2010)
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoKNlMoOA0I

Reason: I like to think of this as a sequel to Shadow Dragon Medley from Brawl (which I'd love to see included on the Wii U stage as a returning track). The DS line for Fire Emblem were actually remakes of past games. We only got the first DS game, which was a remake of Fire Emblem 1. So, why not draw on that for inspiration for this tracklist?

The first, third, and fifth tracks are the ones we're all familiar with, while the second and fourth come from the Japan only game, which was a remake of the second part of Fire Emblem 3, which the first part was a remake of Fire Emblem 1. These tracks I chose because I felt they worked pretty well with the other tracks.

I feel that even if they're remakes of console games, they are more than worthy of representation on Arena Ferox. Even Marth's design borrows more from these two games than Awakening, so I'm sure we'll get something like this.

8. Name: Don't Speak Her Name!
Universe: Fire Emblem
Game of Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWO4ff1HXYY

Reason: Not sure why others have put this track on their lists. It doesn't really seem like it's fit for fighting. But there's not really much to go for with my traditional offbeat track selection. I guess you could say this is the Power Hungry Fool track for this game.

[/collapse]

There, the list is now complete. Time to prepare myself for the judging. I'll get no sympathy from the judges, but at least I fought for my friends...

@Jumpman84

The track that plays in the chapter you fight in Arena Ferox is called Duty FYI.
Thanks, shinpichu. Updated my tracklist. Hopefully, you can now consider me a worthy opponent...

I shall free Swampasaur from your tyranny!! :troll:

I don't think minuscule bits of other songs and alternate versions count as medleys, a medley is a collection of music, and I don't even have one full-fledged medley like the Depths of Space one :I
