My entry.

Name: Tearing Shadows
From: Fire Emblem: Shin Monshou no Nazo (FE12)
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0WtXthIexU
Reason: garglebarglegah I'm honestly shocked that I don't see this song anywhere. It really just...fits. Fastpaced and loud, and a key song in FE12 too (the Avatar subplot in FE12 uses this song for all of its bosses).

Name: Id Because
From: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vz0X2ybZ3a0
Reason: oanwvboveqkqebjepbe I'm really confused why this song isn't on everyone's list, given it's importance to Awakening (final boss theme). This is literally the perfect song for the arena, having a brisk tempo and a sense of urgency with it.

Name: Id Hope
From: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tz61yQeAWcQ
Reason: A rare song that's only seen in the Future Past DLC in Awakening, but the song's importance to Awakening cannot be disputed. Because it's plot spoilers, open the spoiler below if you want to know how it's used.
In Future Past, the bosses of the first two maps is Morgan, and the boss of the last map is your Avatar. The whole plot of these maps showing players the grim reality of Lucina's future.

Name: Arena Medley
From: Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals, Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword, Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and Fire Emblem: Monshou no Nazo (FE12)
Link:
A Challenger Approaches (Shadow Dragon):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtEFhh6Pc8s
In the Arena (Sword of Seals): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlXIdhOLrv0
In the Arena (Blazing Sword): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7ti90fD564
In the Arena (Sacred Stones): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9LFpMrWUC0
A Deadly Test of Might (Shadow Dragon): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWwxffJeWvc
Days of Training (New Mystery): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BLUm3XCMmI
Reason: Arena Ferox is an arena... Yeah. So for my medley, I went with all of the past arena themes. The medley begins with the clapping from Shadow Dragon (first link), and then plays through the five arena themes in order. They all transition into each other. Fun fact: The arena themes for FE6, 7, 8 and 11 are actually remixed music from FE 4, 5, 2 and 9, respectively. So between this medley and the other tracks, music from every Fire Emblem game gets covered (considering that FE1 and FE3 were remade into FE11 and FE13).
Note: No idea why Deadly Test of Might isn't showing up as a hotlink. ;/

Name: My Name is Marth
From: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_kUlkshLXw
Reason: And now for something totally out there. Lucina plays such a key role in Awakening, both before and after her recruitment, that I needed her theme song in here somewhere. I just had to. It felt wrong to exclude it.

Name: Don't Speak Her Name
From: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWO4ff1HXYY
Reason: HOWEVER, I couldn't exclude this one either. Possibly the most well received track in Awakening belongs in this game. There's no way around it. Despite being a sombre tone, the song still packs energy that it fits the stage. The quieter segments provide a break, but still keep the song grounded.

Name: Trouble!
From: Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlEHThpBOjY
Reason: You heard this song in Brawl's Shadow Dragon medley, and it's back here. Every mission in FE1 ALWAYS plays this theme at the beginning, and it plays a lot in FE11 as well as a result. Totally seems like an important track right there.

Name: Together We Ride!
From: Fire Emblem (Blazing Sword)
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUvWXzHWsrg
Reason: Due to Melee, this song has become a defining Fire Emblem song. You could very well call it the "Fire Emblem theme of the West". Excluding this song for any reason feels like a moral wrong because of how big of a deal it is in the grand scheme of things.

Might as well get mine in early this time. I'm feeling pretty good about this one.

Name: Fire Emblem (Melee)
Origin: Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & The Blade Of Light
Franchise: Fire Emblem
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0CJYb10tlo
Notes: I personally feel like the Main Theme of the franchise would go better on some kind of grandiose castle stage than here. Of course, there's always the possibility that this could be the only FE stage on the 3DS, so if that's the case, then the next song could be replaced for the Main Theme.

Name: Beyond The Sky
Origin: Fire Emblem: Binding Blade
Franchise: Fire Emblem
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=aPyP5sLKlFo
Even though I wish I could link to this instead: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iPQP7aDe_Y

Name: In The Name Of Bern/Battle For Whose Sake
Origin: Fire Emblem: Binding Blade
Franchise: Fire Emblem
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogeHXIK_Rdw
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htIauDq5Eyc
Notes: Personally, these are 2 of my favorite boss themes in the entire series, but they do get kind of repetitive after a while, so I decided to mix them together. They're both from FE6 and are from fights against major opponents from the same country, so I think it would make sense for them to be put together.

Name: Attack
Origin: Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword
Franchise: Fire Emblem
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvymJMU1K9A
Note: I know this technically counts as having 2 medleys, but come on, they only have 2 songs each! Can't you guys just let it go this one time? Pretty please? In all seriousness, if I can't have both this and the last song, just swap it out for this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vf1yJqIrSg4#t=17

Name: Duty (Ablaze)
Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Franchise: Fire Emblem
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEuUuA29h-Y

Name: Destiny (Ablaze)
Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Franchise: Fire Emblem
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wy039eKE5eo

Name: Conquest (Ablaze)
Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Franchise: Fire Emblem
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWHLgEEtqmg

Name: Id (Purpose)
Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Franchise: Fire Emblem
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bio99hoZVYI

Notes: Oh, don't look at me like that. There were 5 Path Of Radiance songs on Castle Siege, and that stage wasn't even specific to PoR. There can be 4 Awakening songs on this stage. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if we got even more than that, especially considering how phenomenal Awakening's soundtrack is.
All right, then.

All right, then.
There are only four Path of Radiance tracks.

  • Against the Dark Knight
  • Crimean Army Sortie
  • Power-Hungry Fool
  • Victory is Near
I believe you are counting Ike's Theme as one. But it's from Radiant Dawn.

The most corrupt country ever, except most others.
I believe I'll throw my hat in the ring.

Name: Fire Emblem Theme
Game: Fire Emblem: Dark Dragon and the Sword of Light
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVlE8u6Hhp8
Reason: I chose the Brawl version because it's my favorite version out there (my favorite that would work, anyway - the Awakening main theme had only a fraction of itself as the iconic FE main theme). I know it's an unoriginal pick, but who cares? It's the most iconic FE composition in Japan and it's the main theme of the whole series. Fit well in Brawl, should be no problem here.

Name: Together We Ride
Game: Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=75VzljdUE-s
Reason: The most iconic FE composition to Western fans and one that's been in both Melee and Brawl. Fits perfectly for fighting, highly popular. Doesn't need much more explanation than that!

Name: Id~Purpose
Game: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bio99hoZVYI
Reason: The theme of the final boss and arguably the most popular piece in the game. It's a battle theme with a great pace and atmosphere to it, making it perfect for Smash 4.

Name: Don't Speak Her Name!
Game: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWO4ff1HXYY
Reason: Now here's where it gets a little unconventional. This is another popular piece from FEA and my personal favorite. That said, I wouldn't put it here if I didn't think it would fit in a fight. Whereas some peaceful and pretty songs present in Brawl didn't seem to fit fighting in any sense, this piece actually has a segment with a pace and tone that make it fit in a fight. The softer segments actually do a good job of leading up to it, too.

Name: Champion (Ablaze)
Game: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qyvzb8nQRyc
Reason: A departure from my previous two selections, this one is more light in tone. However, it still has a pace that makes it work well in a fight. I picked this one because it's an enhanced version of an already good song in PoR, and because I wanted to broaden the range of atmospheres that players want for the Arena stage.

Name: Blazing Boss Medley
Games: Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals and Blazing Sword
Links:
In the Name of Bern: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayJ26MKJwYk
Battle for Whose Sake: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yxIyxP7seE
Rise to the Challenge: www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAJ7OaDErRk
Softly With Grace: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zAEsa42sM0
Reason: Fire Emblem has so many great boss themes that choosing one for this submission was pretty tough, so why not roll some of them together? Each one individually seems incomplete in my opinion, but putting them into a medley where they flow into each other supplements each one nicely. Plus, we can't have all the new pieces come from Awakening, am I right?

Name: Eternal Bond
Game: Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZ_ySubJbhA
Reason: Yeah, it's Ike's Theme from Brawl. Honestly, not much to say here. It's a well-paced map theme that installs great atmosphere for a fight.

Name: Chaos (Ablaze)
Game: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1x8J-c4cVec
Reason: This one goes for the most sinister tone of my selections. It has a slower pace than most of the pieces here, but it works for the dark atmosphere it tries to instill. I picked this one both as a personal favorite and as another one that would give players more choice as to what they want the mood of the fight to be.

And there you go! Hope you like it.

Oh...my bad. /: However, my point still stands. There were 4 songs from one game and the stage wasn't even from that game. Arena Ferox is specifically from Awakening so it can still have that many songs and maybe even a few more.

I noticed that RIGHT after I posted it... >_<

Still, it was fun to assemble the list. I'll be back for the next round if it's for a franchise I know well. I give myself an A for effort.

Sorry about that. Better luck next time, eh?
(Let's hope the next time in question is Mario Galaxy or Dr. Wily's Castle. I think I might have a mental breakdown if I were to try and put together a decent list of songs for the Animal Crossing stage)

Suddenly I feel that we should do Smashville 2.
