Dohohoho, look at what I predicted!

The music for that round is going to be fantastic, I can already tell.

NOT necessarily. The platform stage itself may have been from Good Egg Galaxy. But how do we know it's still IN Good Egg galaxy?

Look at the right side of the image. There's 2 boss planets from SMG; the tree-planet where you fight the Monty Mole general, and (what I think is) the lava pool planet where you fight King Kalimari. Both of them aren't from Good Egg galaxy to my knowledge. The stage might just be a compilation of planets from various Mario galaxies.

ALSO,

I'm unhappy that it isn't the Comet Observatory stage we're getting.

We all knew there'd be a Mario Galaxy stage. I'm saying that a decent amount of people predicted we'd have Starship Mario or Comet Observatory as the Galaxy stage. I predicted that it'd be based on Good Egg Galaxy from the very first level of the first game. I made a lucky guess is what I'm getting at, in other words.

Ah, that may appear to be so. However, there were practically no houses in the Mario Galaxy games aside from the first houses that appear in Good Egg Galaxy and Sky Station Galaxy, so the argument can be made that the main planet the fighting takes place on is loosely based off of Good Egg's first planetoid more so than any other planetoid, so I can at least say that I was closer than anyone else here in predicting. For now, sure. We don't know what could happen on this stage outside of gravity mechanics. (Imagines planet-hopping, light-speed travelling and Star Fox shooting down airships in the background.)
Also, for any clarification, Sakurai dubbed the new stage as 'Mario Galaxy', so it's safe to say it isn't just Good Egg Galaxy.

For now, there's three questions in my mind for this stage.

1. What galaxies and planets will appear on the Mario Galaxy stage.
2. How many sci-fi memes and references can people pull out of their bungholes.
3. How many Mario Galaxy songs can we fit on our playlists in this contest before Swampy says "Enough."

Yeh, I can't deny the popularity of Gust Garden's theme (even though I prefer something much more more over it.) But here's the thing: nobody talks about the Gusty Garden level itself. They only comment on the music from what I've read. I see the Good Egg Galaxy as being more memorable because it's the very first Galaxy level you play in, and sets off the adventurous nature and liveliness that is Super Mario Galaxy with the Good Egg Galaxy theme.

But here's my opinion:

I think this song's amazing! But I don't see many people mention it. Not to mention, the best part of Gust Garden's theme is mixed into this, and mixed well. It's just so heart-pounding but honing the same level of optimism and adventure as Good Egg/Gusty Garden.

Collecting the purple coins was awesome! Though the time ones are difficult... But no! What kept me at 119/120 stars was one of those stupid Cosmic Mario races! I never got to play Luigi Galaxy.

I'm not one to jump on the "hate Other M" train, because I actually dug it, but you should really play Super and Prime. Nintendo's made a bunch of great games, but only a scant few I'd call masterpieces, and those qualify.
