That's by no means bad, it's great when music makes you try new games, or just replay old ones. Checking out music from the Mother games made me play what I now deem my favorite game, which is Earthbound, so it's something I commonly do these days.Guess I made a bad joke. :l
So, to initiate a conversational communication of sorts... Did anyone get the urge to play a game(s) related to the round that went by?
It's funny. I tracked down a copy of Uprising at the end of the Kid Icarus round, rebought a copy of Spirit Tracks, and now I made an order for the Metroid Prime Trilogy online tonight.
What is wrong with me,

What is wrong with me,
It would be a very dark day in the world if that ever happened.... People would riot in the streets... Dogs and cats would live together... all in all, mass hysteria.OK, I have a quick question:
If only 1 song was available for each stage, like in Smash 64 and Melee, what would it be?

Here's what I think:
Battlefield - Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Main Theme
Arena Ferox - Id ~ Purpose
Gerudo Valley - Gerudo Valley (Duh.)
Spirit Train - Overworld Adventure
Reset Bomb Forest - Kid Icarus: Uprising Main Theme/Main Menu
New Mushroomy Kingdom - Super Mario 3D Land Main Theme
Dr. Wily's Castle - Wily Stage 1 (Mega Man 2)
Garden of Hope - Garden of Hope
Pyrosphere - Vs Ridley
Skyloft - Ballad of the Goddess
Windy Hill Zone - Windy Hill Zone
Wuhu Island - Wii Sports Resort Main Theme
Animal Crossing Stage - Animal Crossing Main Theme
The Gym - Yoga
Boxing Ring - Minor Circuit Theme (from Punch-Out!!)
It depends on whether you're getting the Wii port or Gamecube version. I personally prefer the Gamecube version a thousand times, because I hate the motion controls. The Gamecube version of Metroid Prime 1 is however one of the best games ever made. It's cool to know other people enjoy the VGM like I do. I'm sure there's plenty of other people who do to. I just wish I had more time to spare playing all these games I'm buying and barely played. :B
On another tangent, I hope Metroid Prime won't be a bad investment. I already played a bit of Prime 3 around the time I first had a Wii... it's one of the only games I've played in my life that gave me motion sickness. (The other was Spyro the Dragon.)
I never played the games until the Trilogy came out, and I think the motion controls are fine--great even. Perhaps it's simply a matter of whichever one gets use to first? It depends on whether you're getting the Wii port or Gamecube version. It's not that the motion controls are bad or unresponsive or anything, it's just that I really hate flinging around a Wii-Remote when it's unnecessary. For Sports games and such it's all fine and dandy, but with games like Metroid Prime where I know it works better with a GC controller, I see no reason to use the motion controls other than for the novelty of it.I never played the games until the Trilogy came out, and I think the motion controls are fine--great even. You can't beat Prime 2 on Hypermode and still call the controls bad if they really are...
Yeah, it's like that for a lot of games I'd imagine. Pikmin for New Play Control! was much the same in that it's much easier to mash A and do more damage output with a regular controller, but aim becomes much more precise when you're allowed to use motion controls. Of course, I was more used to the GC controls much how you were with Metroid Prime! It's not that the motion controls are bad or unresponsive or anything, it's just that I really hate flinging around a Wii-Remote when it's unnecessary. But you're probably right in that it depends on which one you get used to first. It is sort of cool that you can point and aim everywhere with the motion controls, so I get why one could prefer it like that. I just simply prefer having a standard controller for it.
But the Metroid Prime motion controls were amazing, the game was better on the Wii :IIt's not that the motion controls are bad or unresponsive or anything, it's just that I really hate flinging around a Wii-Remote when it's unnecessary. It's not comfortable for me to sit and play the game with motion control though. I much prefer the GC version, especially since I already have the PAL version, which means most of the changes from the GC to Wii version are already in effect and have always been for me.But the Metroid Prime motion controls were amazing, the game was better on the Wii :I
It's coming...Hey Swamp, how's the grading coming along?
I probably would. Though I'd still attempt more of a "I'm coo-coo for Chozo Puffs!" than a "In each and every one of your loser faces!" type of berserk. I'd like to think I'm a spaz, not unsportsmenlike.I know the wait will be worth it, just because we'll get to see GRC go bezerk when he loses.
I kid, GRC. Though to be fair, you'd probably go into a happy bezerk if you won.
A while. How long until we get to do this stage:

NoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooA while.

Dohohoho, look at what I predicted! In all seriousness, I need something to help get my patience back... Uh, stage predictions?
