I already have my list in my mind for Gerudo Valley, not much is going to change that. ;)

I'm still anticipating a Link Between Worlds stage, so there is a strong possibility I could be double-dipping down the road.

I'm not sure if we'll get another handheld Zelda stage, there's so many already...

In the meantime...

A juidge never cries... until it's all over.
I'll miss grading your guys entries. It was a blast. I just don't have enough time to do it anymore. I thank you all for giving me the opportunity to toss my ego around. I probably won't be entering the contest (as a former judge, that's borderline cheating), but I'll still try to remain involved here. Maybe you guys could send me quick questions and such before submitting your entries or something?
I' just want to let you know, I'm fine and all of that. Just an issue of time. I've been missing updates on RTC (my first priority here on the boards) and I haven't even had time to beat the second gym leader in Pokemon X. Yeah.
Anywho, responding to your comments one last time...

Um, I guess what i'm trying to say is i'll be your new (*psst* was Groose the mean judge or the nice one, or that one in between that everyone actually listens to!? :p) something judge!
I was the all-over-the-place judge. I gave out more scores than all of the other judges combined... and gave some of the lowest scores of all. And I never gave that son-of-a-gun God Roberts a perfect score.

But yes, Groose will be missed.
That's what you say now, Tumblr. But since I'm not judging, that means I have more time to just come here, look around, and troll.

Also, I'm sorry that Groose is so busy. I hope he can get things sorted out!
Danke schoen! It's less of a personal problem, though, and more of the fact that it takes a long time to grade your entries. Two hours twice a week proved a bit too much of a commitment for me to handle. Plus, this was starting to interfere with RTC, which will always be my first priority on these boards.

Bummed about Groose leaving
Aww, c'mon! Just remember all of those points I took off of your lists and you won't be.

I'm kinda bummed about Groose leaving though. And just when I had finally won him over- I mean, well... I kinda grew to like the guy.
Heh. And I grew to like your lists.

Groose is gone? Welp, I'm screwed.
I'm sure the other judges will be won over if you keep tossing out high-quality lists.

Smell ya later, losers!

This is a treat. Spirit Tracks is one of my favorite Zelda games. Such an underrated game.

Song: Overworld
Source: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS, 2009)
Reason: Confirmed, and a clear choice anyway.

Song: In the Fields
Source: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS, 2009)
Reason: It's a tune you hear a lot in the game. It's catchy, the pacing is steady enough for a moving stage, and it just plain fits.

Song: Hyrule Field
Source: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64, 1998)
Reason: An iconic, staple theme in the Zelda series. As an overworld theme, it'd fit like a Mogma Mitt on a stage where you ride across an overworld. It appeared in the 3DS remake, so...

Song: The Dark World
Source: The Legend of Zelda: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES, 1991)
Reason: Another overworld theme, this one more foreboding than the last, but equally as adventurous. The drum beat would accompany the steady chug of a train quite well. Not from a handheld game, but oh well. Fits well enough, if you ask me.

Song: Battle with Byrne
Source: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS, 2009)
Reason: Again, like "In the Fields", most of the music in Spirit Tracks has a sound befitting of a game based on trains. A lot of flutes are accompanied, evoking the image of a steam engine, and the guitar chords here, accompanied by drums, give the song a nice rhythm to go along with a moving stage. It helps that it's probably one of the most liked tracks from the game.

Song: Linebeck's Theme
Source: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (DS, 2007)
Reason: Okay, here we go. Yep, it's Linebeck's Theme, possibly the most liked thing about Phantom Hourglass. It's a fan favorite, and provides a nice contrast to other songs on the list. While most of the tracks so far have been more battle-ready and play up the speed of a locomotive, this piece is slower and more passive, reflecting more of the "fantasy" side of the Zelda universe, rather than the "adventure" side.

Song: Vs. Bellum
Source: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (DS, 2007)
Reason: The boss theme is more intense than most of the other tunes I've listed, and gives off a sense of seriousness and urgency, as if the train in the stage is being pursued, rather than making a trip. A single track can totally change the mood of the entire stage, and I think this is a good track to do that with.

Song: Boss Battle
Source: The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (GBA, 2004)
Reason: Last but not least, we have the general boss battle theme from Minish Cap. Minish Cap isn't really known for its music, but it has some gems if you look for them. As with the Bellum theme, it offers a more intense atmosphere, but is more ominous and foreboding, with the former being more intense and fast-paced. I'd suggest this remix to get a feel for how I imagine this tune could be remastered.

When you consider how many Zelda titles have been released since Brawl, it's not that surprising. There were three Zelda stages in Brawl after all.

Starphoenix, you've impressed me again! I love the idea of combining Din's Dance and Nayru's Song into a medley. Also, if I would have played Spirit Tracks then I would have known to put Battle With Byrne instead of just his theme song. -_- Still, I'm feeling pretty good about my list. I might even get third instead of fifth this time!

Aww, c'mon! Just remember all of those points I took off of your lists and you won't be.

But Groose, you gave me a perfect score! AND YOU'RE A FELLOW PHOENIX WRIGHT FAN! ;_;

Ah well, cheers to you!

The following is subject to change as I get nervous and second-guess myself.

Name: Realm Overworld
Universe: Legend of Zelda
Origin: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (2009)
Reason: Already confirmed, but would have topped my list anyway. One of my favorite Zelda songs of all time and a perfect fit for the stage.
Name: Byrne Comes To The Rescue
Universe: Legend of Zelda
Origin: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (2009)
Reason: Byrne's theme is a great one, and evokes a similar feel to Dark Pit's Theme in Kid Icarus. Everyone has their favorite take, but I particularly like this version, which speeds things up and adds a killer drum beat. And then when you don't know what could make it better, the Princess Zelda theme starts up and it is amazing how well the two mesh together to create a really unique track.
Name: Cloud Tops
Universe: Legend of Zelda
Origin: The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (2004)
Reason: A great traveling theme that happens to be a memorable but under-appreciated track from Minish Cap.
Name: Tal Tal Heights
Universe: Legend of Zelda
Origin: Super smash Bros. Brawl (2008)
Reason: A classic song from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, remade for Brawl. It was such a good rendition, I want to hear it again. And this stage is a perfect place for it.
Name: Wi-Fi Battle
Universe: Legend of Zelda
Origin: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (2007)
Reason: Another track that seamlessly blends together different Zelda tracks, this time the Main Theme with Hyrule Field, two very classic and beloved songs. Even if you never played multiplayer mode in Phantom Hourglass, this song will immediately be familiar to you.
Name: Boss Battle
Universe: Legend of Zelda
Origin: The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition (2011)
Reason: I know it sounds like a Pokemon battle song, but it is actually from Four Swords and is actually quite catchy, although it will need some reworking and re-orchestrating so it lasts longer and is not as repetitive. I definitely think it can be done.
Name: Linebeck and the Sea Medley
Universe: Legend of Zelda
Origin: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (2009), The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (2007)
Reason: The Great Sea theme is a memorable one from both Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass and Linebeck is such a standout character, I wanted to highlight and pay homage to them both, with some connecting themes to bolster the medley.
Name: Cursed Overworld
Universe: Legend of Zelda
Origin: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (2009)
Reason: Spirit Tracks' dark reprise of it's main theme is not just some rehash; it has its own identity and deserves to be recognized just as much. The more sinister theme adds a foreboding unease to this train trip and earns its place on the roster.

[collapse="Project Spook Locomotive"] 1) Realm Overworld ~ The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (2009)
• This is a confirmed track.
2) The Final Exam ~ The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (2009)
• This is the song that plays during Link's final test to prove that he is ready to become a Train Engineer.
• The song gives a sense of wonder and excitement, making the player feel as if they are about to unfold and begin a wonderful adventure.
• I'm sure I'm not the only one who continued to play the Train Goron minigame over and over again to hear this wonderful tune again.
3) Tower of Spirits (Dungeon) ~ The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (2009)
• Behind the Realm Overworld theme, this is probably the second most heard song in the entire game. Link and Zelda constantly return to the Tower of Spirits to add extra portions of the world map so they may access them.
• The song may have to be re-orchestrated. The instruments present in this piece don't really fit in as much as I'd want it to, but I feel as if the theme would fit perfectly in the stage if done correctly.
• I would expect the theme, Spotted! (Phantoms) to also be mixed in, but not enough for it be a medley. Phantoms have been a part of both of the Handheld "Toon" Zelda titles. So I think the theme would be mixed in somewhere in the game. While the actual song doesn't really see to fit in that much, I think it would mix very nicely with the Tower of Spirits's Dungeon theme.
4)In the Fields ~ The Legend of Zelda : Spirit Tracks (2009)
• The overworld ground theme, which is a pretty heavy remix of the main theme of the main theme of the original Legend of Zelda.
• Another song heard for a great deal of time,
5) Fight Against Byrne ~ The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (2009)
• Byrne's Themes has gained enough traction to be fairly popular in the Zelda franchise.
• The song adds a foreign flair that can't really be accessed by any other songs, which really appears to really fit the Spirit Train.
6) Linbeck's Theme ~ The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (2007)
• Linebeck is probably the best Zelda character next to Groose. Like seriously.
Do you think they're related???
• In all seriousness, Captain Linebeck's theme is just as a memorable and beloved as the character himself. He even made a comeback (or at least, his grandson did) in Spirit Tracks as well, with this exact same theme.
7) Vaati Battle ~ The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (2004)
• A more intense track added into the mix, changes up the general calm, adventurous, and goofy theme the orders tracks have.
• The Boss theme of Vaati, another beloved Zelda character in the Zelda franchise.
8) The Ballad of the Windfish ~ The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (1993)
• A song we supposedly missed out on having in Brawl. Which is again, another really beloved song from the Zelda franchise overall.
• The song itself doesn't have to be this specific variation, but I would expect it to be a remix of the original tune.[/collapse]

I'm digging this, guys. Because I'm not judging, I now have time and legal rights to give you some advice. Hit me up with a pm or post on my wall if you have any questions; I'll try to answer. Keep in mind... My opinions may not help you at all, as I am not one of the current judges.

Toxicroaker asks:
Toxicroaker said:
What do you judges on the soundtrack contest think of melodies? Can you tell me how much they like short (2-3 songs) medium (4-5 songs) and long (6+ songs)? I am not knowing what I should put in the way of Spirit Tracks songs 'cause there are so many good ones lol.
Groose, former judge, responded:

Groose said:
Well, it varies from judge to judge. I personally disregarded the number of songs in a medley and focused on the individual tracks and how the fit together.

Medleys are for songs that just aren't powerful enough to stand on their own... but sound great when mixed with something else.

They're also your chance to be creative and add some variety... pull something out of your head. Someone did a medley of songs that, when put together, summed up a hero's journey in music. I dug that.

My favorite medley was someone's "Training Theme" on the Wii Fit stage. They brought in a few semi-popular songs from a bunch of series... they had the Punch-Out training theme, the Kid Icarus training theme, etc. I found that fitting and an amazing way to bring in variety. Heck, it was creative!

As for specific advice on this stage... Locomo's Songs would make a pretty good medley, but that's a bit obvious. Maybe something along the lines of "Across Hyrule--A Medley of BGM of Various Areas?" That may be something good... but you have to have good music to back it up. A third suggestion would be to pull something that sums up the Toon Games as a whole... start with Legendary Hero from Windwaker, switch to Linebeck's theme, then hit up something from Spirit Tracks?

I dunno. Just tossing out ideas. Your job is to take them and develop them.

1: Overworld.
Series: The Legend of Zelda.
Game: Spirit Tracks.

2: The Great Sea:
Series: The Legend of Zelda.
Game: Spirit Tracks.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7plKQ4T0980

Since we already got the overworld themes from Wind Waker and Spirit Tracks, the overworld theme from Phantom Hourglass should not be left out.

3: Fraaz Battle.
Series: The Legend of Zelda.
Game: Spirit Tracks.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0sves087iU

4: Song of Storms.
Series: The Legend of Zelda.
Game: Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuM1bVx1oNQ

I think this song fits a moving stage better than most other stages, otherwise I would've used this for the Gerudo Valley stage. (I guess this would be a medley, given how it's not just the Song of Storms playing in this theme)

5: Main theme. (the Legend of Zelda)
Series: The Legend of Zelda.
Game: The Legend of Zelda: Collectors Edition.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2Nj3hZy_uU

I regret forgetting to include the main theme on the Skyward Sword stage, but I didn't forget this time. I think this version suits the Wind Waker style games the most out of the series.

6: Demon Train.
Series: The Legend of Zelda.
Game: Spirit Tracks.

7: Linebeck's theme.
Series: The Legend of Zelda.
Game: Phantom Hourglass.

Edited my playlist. Only one different song (Ballad of the Wind Fish), and if you want, I can re-link to the original, this is instead the "Brawl Lost Soundtrack" version which sounds like it could fit on that stage well.

(Thank you Groose)

Man, this was a tough list. Legend of Zelda needs to settle down on making too much good ****. P.S. Can someone tell me how to create a spoiler in my post?

1. Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks - Realm Overworld (2009)
  • T'was already confirmed.
  • As an added bonus, I thought the music could occasionally break into the Enemy Appears theme, which can coincide with any sudden stage hazards, if any.
2. Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks - Byrne's Theme Redux (2009)
Tracks: Byrne's Battle / Byrne's Rescue
  • Basically, I couldn't decide which of Byrne's tracks to choose from, as they're both different yet similar. So I had this idea; in 4 player matches, the battle theme would play as default, but when it comes down to 2, the Rescue theme plays.
  • Battle theme has an antagonistic approach with a spanish feel in it's guitar play, (almost reminiscent of Gerudo Valley).
  • As the fight draws to a close, the rescue theme serves as the trigger of the final moment of the match. Optimistic and inspirational, this could easily lift the spirits of both fighting sides to overcome each other.
  • Both themes also have a foreign theming in their instruments, (Battle theme = Spanish guitars, Rescue theme = oriental pan flutes (?)) which is a nice touch in this track list.
3. Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks - Final Boss: Malladus Phase 2 (2009)

  • Another popular theme, and most notably, the Final Boss theme.
  • A theme that's more serious in tone, but with an underlying sense of heroic justice.
4. Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass - Title Screen (2007)
  • Essentially, a DS recreation of the Great Sea theme of WW fame.
  • A major fan favorite.
  • Majestic and soothing, if this song can make riding a boat an adventure, then so it can on a train.
5. Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass - Linebeck's Theme (2007)
  • Theme belonging to the title character of PH, next to Link.
  • Very popular Zelda character, in the same rank as Groose.
  • Boasting a prideful motif and unique flair, an orchestral recreation would do this justice.
6. Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker - Molgera (2003)
  • I've never played WW (yet), but whenever I listened to this tracks, I always imagined myself on a train in dire emergency, charging toward a dead end while a beast was chasing you down and trying to wreck your **** up.
  • Intense, fast-paced and creating a sense of emergency; this just fits so, so, SO well with the represented train stage.
  • Don't tell me that chuggodachuggodachuggodachuggoda doesn't remind you of a train.
  • If it was popular enough to appear in The Pirate Ship stage in SSBB, than it'll be all the more fitting in this.
  • chuggodachuggodachuggodachuggoda...
  • Seriously, don't dock me for it belonging to a home console game. The stage SCREAMS for this.
7. Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap - Hyrule Town (2004)
  • A track from an overlooked game in the Toon Link series.
  • Upbeat, cheery, and playful.
  • Owns a level of variety in this list.
8. Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening - Tal Tal Heights (1993)
  • Probably the most popular track of Link's Awakening
  • A remix of the famous Legend of Zelda Theme
  • Iconic, as well as adventurous in it's tone.
I was considering using a medley from Oracle of Seasons/Ages, but considering Gerudo Valley is another stage on 3DS, I thought this would fit better for that stage, especially when Oracle of Seasons/Age's relates more to regular Link's timeline than Toon Link's series.
P.S. THIS TOOK ME 4 HOURS. HOW DOES SOMETHING LIKE THIS TAKE ME 4 HOURS.

Order: It starts off with Spirit Tower Lobby, a peaceful sounding, slow, and relaxing tune. it then gets slowly stronger when it hits the Spiral Staircase, a little more fitting for a battle. Last but not least, you make your way to the dungeon, a nice tune with many diferent messages being sent.
Reason: I wanted to include the Spirit Tower in some way since it is a very important part of the story, but the songs just wouldn't cut it on there own. The only thing I thought was logical was to mash up three songs that don't fit into one song that does fit.

Name: Minish Village
Universe: The Legend of Zelda
Game of Origin: The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-GhPzYOAJc&list=PL860F3CED5749C27E
Reason: Another handheald release title. This one is a relaxing, semi-speed piece that feels right at home in the Spirit Train.

Name: Dark World
Universe: The Legend of Zelda
Game of Origin: The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itVoAQw2vqA
Reason: This would be a good song to put a dramatic twist to the list giving it more variety than just peaceful and calm+speedy.

NOTE 1: Before you get on to me for having four Spirit Tracks, look at Pirate Ship (Brawl).
NOTE 2: The Dark World might not even be real.

I just never though the Hand Glider music fit the stage, as the Direct in early October was shown to be hectic and frantic.

Not to argue or anything, but I think the reason why the plane was moving fast in that clip was because it was boosting like in Pilotwings Resort.

It's possible but we have no way of knowing for sure.

How long before our deadline, by the way? It's been a while since I've kept track of this kind of thing.

Sorry for the lateness. It's hard to do all the research while at work. Hopefully, I pulled off a great effort, though!

1. Name: Realm Overworld
Universe: The Legend of Zelda
Game of Origin: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS, 2009)
Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5W_bFLwB0WY

Reason: CONFIRMED!!!

Well, time to put in the Overworld rep, as per Zelda law... Oh no! The winning list already has it! What am I going to do?

2. Name: Tal Tal Heights
Universe: The Legend of Zelda
Game of Origin: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Game Boy, 1993)/Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii, 2008)
Young Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1KN-pA66js

Reason: Oh yeah! I forgot about this track! A perfect blend of the Overworld and its title track. Plus it sounds like it would fit on a train to me.

3. Name: Sea of Trees
Universe: The Legend of Zelda
Game of Origin: The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords (GBA, 2002)
Drawing Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=emi57ebd_-0

Reason: We can't forget Four Swords, especially considering it just received an anniversary version a few years ago. The music in here is great and I felt this one fit the best.

4. Name: Linebeck's Theme
Universe: The Legend of Zelda
Game of Origin: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (DS, 2007)
Toon Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HvVSQPGRzA

Reason: Originally, I was going to include Groose's Theme in honor of our departed judge. But it probably wouldn't fly. Then someone said that this Linebeck guy is Groose's great great great great (24 greats later) great great grandson, thrice removed. So why not? His theme sounds pretty good and it pays tribute to a great character and judge (I think).

5. Name: Fleeing by Demon Train
Universe: The Legend of Zelda
Game of Origin: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Conductor Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWKX9EnAsAU

Reason: Forgive me, as I have never played Spirit Tracks. But in my opinion, Demon Trains are just as awesome. So why not play this track, as it is about you riding a demon train? I think it fits.

6. Name: Minish Village
Universe: The Legend of Zelda
Game of Origin: The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (GBA, 2005)
Suspicious Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iq18xp8FjV8

Reason: To not put a track from the Minish Cap on here would be discrimination. In fact, this Minish Village song sounds like it would fit and it's a memorable song in its own right. (At least, I think so. I need to quit slacking and play this game on my 3DS.)

7. The Great Fairy Medley
Universe: The Legend of Zelda
This medley contains the following songs:

Name: Beginning of the Journey
Game of Origin: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES, 1992)
Red Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rA_u3CCPa4

Name: File Select Screen
Game of Origin: The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (GBA, 2005)
Blue Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kazkm1UkE4M

Name: Fairy Fountain
Game of Origin: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (DS, 2007)
Purple Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GsNTxv7OCg

Name: File Select
Game of Origin: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS, 2009)
NES Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1xZp3LlVP0

Name: Map
Game of Origin: The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures (GameCube, 2004)
CD-i Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkYdZt9AZSE

Reason: So, I was actually inspired by this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLS9Kx8ALIA

Nevertheless, this track is an iconic piece that transcends the entire series. so I did my best to include a fair amount of variations, beginning with the debut in Link to the Past (which was on GBA with Four Swords), and hitting the other major stops through handheld history. I know, Four Swords Adventures is a console game, but I ask for some leniency here, just because of its relation to the original Four Swords and that this version is awesome, fitting for the final selection of the medley. Though Ocarina of Time's version is the most well-known, I decided not to include it as the key doesn't match the others and six songs is a bit much.

8. Enter Your Name
Universe: Uh... Zelda, maybe?
Game of Origin: Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland (DS, 2007) (Europe)
Kooloo Limpah!: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ir4Wy3xzSSU

Reason: And here comes the most controversial selection of all! Everyone hates Tingle, right? However, I think that we LOVE to hate Tingle because of how bizarre he is. Indeed, when listening to tracks for my selection, a lot of them don't seem to make sense for the environment they describe. Yet you get this epic track on the screen to enter your name! I think that's perfect for an oddball like Tingle. Love him or hate him, he warrants a track in Smash Bros. and here is where it would fit best.

I opted not to include the Oracle games here, as they would fit better on Gerudo Valley and I lacked the room to include all the tracks I wanted to.

I'm kind of new here (as in I made this account a while ago, but I haven't really used it), but I've been speculating about SSB4's music for a while now on Youtube, so I thought I'd jump in.

Name: Realm Overworld
Origin: The Legend Of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Franchise: The Legend Of Zelda

Name: Byrne Helps
Origin: The Legend Of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Franchise: The Legend Of Zelda
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19vZWb6Z4w0
Notes: I chose this version of Byrne's theme because it's faster-paced than the others (which is a pretty big factor for a fast moving stage like this) and I love how it's mixed so well with Zelda's Lullaby.

Name: Main Theme (The Legend Of Zelda)
Origin: The Legend Of Zelda
Franchise: The Legend Of Zelda
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-mNw11ZXbY&feature=player_detailpage
Notes: Since Sakurai considers this the main theme of the franchise, it will most likely get into a stage in both versions. Between the two 3DS stages, I think it fits better here because of how fast-paced and adventurous it sounds.

For the mostpart I tried to pick faster-paced, more upbeat music to fit the tone of the stage. BTW, is it okay to have more than 8 songs? The rules say you should put 5-8, but most of the stages in Brawl that had more than that, especially ones from big franchises.

We're gonna stick to 5-8 so that it doesn't take forever to grade.

Zelda music's ultra-meh...I just hope the next stage is something pretty interesting...like Boxing Ring or Windy Hill...or Wily's Castle...

Boo on dissing Zelda music, but I'm responding to let you know you're not going to get the boxing ring for quite some time. They're not doing any stages that aren't clearly defined. The boxing ring may be a Punch-Out stage (and I think it is) or it may not be, but we don't know 100%. I'd give it a couple of weeks on Windy Hill as well, so the full Lost World soundtrack can be uploaded to YouTube.

LOL people get a hold of yourselves I just don't hold Zelda music on the same level as Sonic music or Mario music, but there's some really good stuff like Gerudo Valley, The Sea, Dragon Roost Island and Ballad of the Goddess. I think ai don't like it that much because I don't really like TLOZ in the first place, I think Phantom Hourglass is the only one I actually enjoyed.

And I don't get the Sonic thing, most of LW's OST has been uploaded already and it's not like we're going to use only Lost World music with the massive library of good music Sonic has.

Third party stages should go last, IMHO. But no one knows what stage we'll see next...

Fair enough. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, I always believe. We're just going to pretend you don't exiiiiist.

So today was quite the trick 'n treat for SSB reveals. The moment I saw the words "Male Wii Fit Trainer Confirmed", I almost choked on my tongue. Looks like he's just going to be an alternate costume, hopefully.

Too bad there hasn't been any extra contestants on this extended deadline.
