yea rathalos can be tricky at first purely because hes a lot more aggressive than rathian. the whole roar to jump-spin-fireball takes getting used to and its a **** attack too

when you knock the mud off he becomes weaker to fire than water... but really, Barroth is a piece o' cake. just make a city in recruiting and hopefully some high rank dudes will come help you out. Most people dont really face up to Barroth until much later, when he just seems like a biatch compared to other stuff... wait until you fight Rathalos, Barioth and Diablos... you will rage so hard at Rathalos... LOL.

EDIT: also, GP... its ****ing weird that u strip down after every quest... wtf? just to see some Monster hunter booty. I can just see you using Sexy-Panda armor set.

only if you use a slow-*** weapon like GS or Switch axe. and even then, only if ur a noob.
I almost always use hammer for barioth, and its too ****.
pitfall trap+flash bomb. PROFIT.

I've done alatreon pretty fast, 9 min is my record but i know it can be waaay faster with 4 gunners.

we dont do record-time thingys (except Jhen, 17 minutes or so) but I'm always up for it, I've made armor sets for the purpose of speed-runs before... the Thread for MHTri on that forum is here:

nah, none of us played mhfu, I've played it before though, similar game... but the screen is annoying and of course, there are more/harder monsters.
