in melee they're considered 'advanced tech' and 'breaking ground'

The Brawl one is kind-of pointless because jumping out of shield is basically always safe anyway, even on platforms.

its something if you could consistently do in the minimum time (APM), then it would likely be much better on people with body wide bairs or nairs, even dairs from power shields to actually be able to PUNISH people platform pressuring your shield. Imaginee how much harder winning with ICs would be?
Meta Knight cheats here though, as his shuttle loop hits low enough to actually punish chars like ICs trying to platform pressure them (at least on BF).

But that kind of tech skill is pretty much out of the scope of 99% of gamers. It would equate to similar strain as true pivoting consistently into moves.

True pivoting is

dash > dash < neutral () in 2 frames for the last 2 actions.

Now, people can do that consistently. Try doing tilts, grabs, smashes (not that bad with c stick) etc out of it, and that suddenly becomes very hard.

Is true pivoting the same way you pivot grab in Melee?

Melee**** blow its tech skill way out of proportion. I heard about this "super hard technique" waveshining oos, so I went and tried it. In about 20 minutes I had it with 75% consistency.

Then I said **** it and went and played mario kart ds.

Also aa, I have never seen a funnier gif in my life.
