In other chart related news (despite this being last Monday), Kamek is definitely disconfirmed now due to being a part of the new SMBU stage's gimmick.

He's already listed as disconfirmed on the chart due to the Magikoopa enemies, but now no one can say anything about Kamek specifically.

If Dark Pit was a playable character he would of been announced with Palutena. I've got a feeling he may appear as an AT or even a stage hazard courtesy of his entrance in the trailer but playable status went out the window. Would explain that color swap missing, can't have that same pattern if could be used on a stage/trophy

After all, common logic should dictate that since Ridley was pretty much teased as a boss (unless the shadow isn't Ridley, which is doubtful), he should be disconfirmed, but for SOME reason, people want to argue that his fate is still up in the air.

Different boat, since DP crashing in was only in the anime segment of her trailer. We have no knowledge of him being included in Sm4sh unlike Ridley who know is 100% is in except for how. Have to admit its strange how precise Ridley is being revealed when compared to others without ever saying anything clear about it.

I'll agree that DP would indeed deserve the same status as Ridley, best way to appease both sides of the fence until proven otherwise.

I don't think Magnus was on the chart but I've heard he's an assist too.

Yes. It was shown in Nintendo's Live E3 event.
Also, Abomasnow was just deconfirmed through IGN's footage, not that anybody cares.

I've heard that Genesect is a Poke Ball and that Cranky Kong has a collectable trophy (implying he's not playable himself), but before I count them as disconfirmed, I kind of need some visual evidence.

Was slightly explaining why DP and Ridley are not in the same category of unknown since we know Ridley is in the game. Tack Mr G&W for the unknown clause if he's no different than DP then. Ridley is heavy implied but unknown, G&W is unknown since he's got a character animation while DP is in the anime. I just threw in that last paragraph to appease those hopeful for DP is all since if to you he's in the same or better boat than the Ridster really. I wouldn't but eh, not my call.

I think it'd be safe to just update the chart now instead of waiting until after tomorrow's Smash Fest.
I doubt there will be anything major tomorrow that hadn't been shown at E3 or on Wednesday's Smash Fest except for maybe a visual confirmation about the Chunky Kong AT and Cranky Kong being a trophy thing.

• Giga Bowser has been confirmed to return as Bowser's Final Smash.

• Cranky Kong is at the very least a collectable trophy. So he is no longer eligible to be playable.

• Tingle has been seen to be an assist trophy once again.

• Genesect has been seen to be a Pokéball Pokémon.

• Dark Pit's role is unknown, so he receives a question mark ala Ridley.

• Mr. Game & Watch's role is unknown, so he receives a question mark ala Ridley / Dark Pit.

Sorry to bring up Sceptile AGAIN but what we Learned from the round table is that Sceptile isn't a posibilty unless ORAS was planned while XY were being planed (which I think it probably was) and when Sakurai went to see Concept for Greninja(and other pokemon) if they had concept art for Mega Sceptile and Sakurai fell in love with it.

I don't think that's overly necessary; the important thing was the Miis got in.

Though that's really up to Golden and ARM to decide.

In the end, they're all just Miis. So not really.

Also, I've seen Mr. Resetti on Smashville (58:00). So I believe it is safe to say he most likely isn't going to be playable this time around.

However, due to Tom Nook and his children showing up on the stage too I'm hesitent to say that he won't be appearing as an Assist Trophy. But regardless, at the end of this week I will be changing Resetti's status to disconfirmed.
