Go down 5, then up 3, then down 6, then up 2, then down 4, then up 2, then down 10, then up 2, then up another 2, then up 3, then down 1, then up 5.

That's what I would actually be. xD

I should probably work on that. >_>
Yeah you really should, results are better the younger you are.

horseshoe crabs are cool as HECK
their closest living relatives are arachnids

nooooooo they're just closely related
i'm huge on taxonomy and also a huge pedant
I found contradictory information on that

Also I can't find a source that lists anything in arthropoda other than Arachnids, Insects, Myriapods and Crustaceans. It always just lists those 4

Maybe it's kind of like the whole "Turtles aren't reptiles" thing

Speaking of horseshoe crabs, the ocean is scary.

We know less about the bottom of the ocean than we do the geography of Mars, and ironically, there are more terrifying aliens in the deep sea than Mars.

OKAY OKAY LEGGO
so afaik the general belief these days is that (extant, who knows about trilobites) arthropods are split into two taxa: mandibulata and chelicerata
mandibulata contains myriapoda and pancrustacea (insects are in fact crustaceans, most closely related to remipedes)
chelicerata contains pycnogonida (sea spiders), xiphosura (horseshoe crabs), and arachnida
sea spiders are the most basal (i.e. primitive) of those. probably. their classification is heavily debated

and then eurypterids would be most closely related to horseshoe crabs

I think humans do mate like the angler fish, at least symbolically

Or is that just me
