Speaking of drug empires, this apparently happened 5 days ago: A teenager in Texas made some pot brownies and added a few ounces of hash oil into the mix. Sentencing is usually determined from the weight of drugs sold and any kind of distribution of hash oil is a felony. So, instead of just the weight of the hash oil, they used the entire weight of his brownie batch to determine the hash oil distributed and now the kid faces what could be a life sentence for essentially selling a bunch of pot brownies.
