If it's real they probably won't comment but sometimes they try to derail them like the NFC thing, which is also how you know it's real. As for who it is, Dante, Travis touchdown, or someone were not thinking of is the character it's hinting for.

Actually, he did. It was something along the lines of them not adding much to Smash Bros.

That's why you don't see anyone asking for Tekken or Soul Calibur characters now.
