I am not sure; I don't even watch the anime. It seems legit, but you can never be too sure, you would know better (as I didn't even know what CCS was until I googled it).

Jk, jk. In X, I wanted Pikachu as my "starter" I guess (Raichu's one of my fave Pokemon, so I caught and trained a Pikachu asap), so I dropped my starter once I got Raichu. It's nothing official I know, but I have fun leading with her.
