It's funny that Lucario and Toon Link are one of the most hated veterans while both being my best friend's mains.
People seem to dislike Toon Link because he is a clone...which he isn't. He's a semi-clone.
As for Lucario. The hate he gets is because he "replaced" Mewtwo. And for some reason people still think he's a clone of Mewtwo.

At this point I've beaten all the main story and extra bosses. Going through nemesis and realizing how broken japan is after I get their nemesis.

Attacks that one shot always.
New move added that puts a status condition called love on a person.
Has a move called heartbreak that does insane damage to someone who has the status condition on them.
Status condition makes them mimic the person who they are in love with's moves. Uncurable as far as I know and unguardable even with the item that prevents all status conditions.

Sakurai went to a city in Finland to showcase the direct, the building he showcased in it resembled something from Glee Club, and the music played in the direct was...rhythm based or something, so I posted here and was all "THEY'RE COMING, GUYS"

Happened in the morning shortly before I woke up, so I might've only been half asleep and "manipulating" the dream somehow, but I'm not sure.

I think it's the third time I've dreamed about Smashboards.
First time was when I had that dream about Snake and "the new adventure mode". I posted about it a long time ago, but am too lazy to bring it up.

Bosses at that level can outspeed the breaking methods.

You can get them to work still but why try so hard to outcheap the bosses?

But Miis would have an interesting concept! Plus seeing if we get the veterans we're expecting, I think we're good on characters with swords.

Also I don't think Pit makes good use of twin swords.
Considering how Lloyd fights in his game he would end up being a faster attacking swordsman than meta knight. Not faster in movement though.

Think of the Wii sports/resorts games involving Miis, I think there's enough material to make an interesting move set that doesn't just involve punching and kicking. Just because they're not in an action game doesn't make them a joke/terrible character

Yes I know that. I play as captain falcon.

But that's not really convincing me of much. You're pretty much telling me to think of a moveset for someone I don't want to see in the game. As far as I'm concerned. Anything I think of for them could be better used on someone else.

That's a reason they will be in the game. Not a reason they will have an interesting concept.

While I think Sakurai is amazing, he would have to put "the whole accident of Melee" into Mii to even make me consider touching him.
And by that, I mean he would have to of made a mistake so beautiful that it develops insanely.

And faster than sword rain on meta knight?

Edit: I think most Mii hate comes from them "taking a slot" away from more wanted characters and also because visually they are not distinct Nintendo All Stars (visually). People make up excuses, but the truth is they are important and do have move set potential.... it's just nobody likes them. (Also, and a lot of people don't want to admit it, Miis are associated with the casual side of Nintendo and we're all 2 cool and hardcore, amirite?)

I don't like the character that much.

It's literally the same reason people don't want other characters.
Other characters just have more developed reasons that people can use to their advantage of why people don't want them despite having great moveset potential as well.

There's the other issue. It completely makes the other characters useless.
They just become vessels or costumes that the Mii can just use. Why would I play as Mario if I can use my Mii (which plays like Mario).
Sure, it's a neat idea in concept. But in return we'll end up only getting another Meta Knight, but worse.

Mostly the Miis should be represented by a collectible trophy cus they're generic avatars. If they're playable, the only acceptable way for that is if they worked like Mokujin from TTT2 or Charade from SC2 and were basically a second Random button.

They wouldn't even get the rights for it because Akira Toryama wouldn't give the rights to Goku and Dreamworks wouldn't put Shwreck in anything since they're done with him now.
