Getting back on the topic of smash bros though...

I'm curious to know what direction people would go in terms of depth vs breadth if they could choose the roster. Basically what I mean by that is would you prefer a larger number of standalone characters representing a large breadth of franchises or would you prefer sm4sh and/or future iterations to focus on fleshing out those franchises already represented? I'm personally of the opinion that the game would be best served by the addition of more new franchises to the series. I tend to find it more interesting and engaging than tons of reps from the same series. I mostly ask this because I have seen people make comments (I think it was the rumors thread?) about there already being a lot of new franchises being added this time around (and as such not expecting many more to come). I can't help but just shrug at that though as I think more new franchise new comers would be nothing but a good thing.

Perhaps this should be a different thread entirely, but I wasn't really sure where to put it.

Also, can I just say that this site has ruined me? I wasn't even aware of a lot of the characters that I now want to be represented in the game until I came to it. Now I feel like my ideal for the game in terms of its roster is so much higher than the game can possibly live up to. So basically no matter what the final roster ends up being, there are totally going to be characters that I wish got in. And this all could have been avoided if I had just stayed away... Oh well, I'm sure I'll get over it. lol

Staying on topic: I think chorus kids could make an interesting character, their moveset would be unique to say the least. All in all, that is what sakurai is looking for in new fighers.

Chorus Kids are the Chorus Men.

"Chorus Men" are just what they're referred to in Japan.
Marshal is not them.

I'd guess the last slot 2 slots will probably be Bowser Jr and Miis.

To be fair.
Quite a bit of the cast is filled with baby characters. It's not like this is the first time.
Though, if they somehow replace many of the characters from MKWii I'll be ticked.
