Some friends and I watched the Super Mario Bros. movie and it's the most balls-to-the-wall ******** thing ever. It's a "so bad it's good" movie, and it's so, so good. It has literally everything: An orphan arc, bob(hoskins)sledding, parallel universes, dinosaurs, archeological protests, goombas dancing in an elevator, a club scene, car chases, a strong independent black woman... There's a pretty small list of what this movie doesn't have. I saw it when I was kid, but I didn't appreciate just how bad it was back then.

I have the movie on dvd. I still like to watch it. It's just so cheesy.

2 Electric attacks on a moveset? And 3/4 all dedicated to 1 attack? An electric attack at that, which is completely shot down by just having the opponent use a ground pokemon

There is nothing wrong with being a hopeful fan.

There IS something wrong with being a fan and being truly angry at the fact that your character didn't make it in.

It's normal to express disappointment when the character you wanted will not be in the game, but it's not a reason to lash out at everyone else and the creator of the game just because you can't play as that specific character. There are other characters that were worked really hard on and could be really enjoyable to play as if you don't look at the game as "The game that doesn't have my character."

However, it's also not a good thing to like the fact that characters didn't get in because other people wanted them in and vice versa. You shouldn't be wanting a character simply because it gives you the taste of others tears or not wanting a character simply because a big amount of people want him. You should respect the fact that those characters have fans and hope that they can get a character that they really want.

I'm not saying change your opinion on every character you don't want. It's not right to be forced to want a character that you really don't want, but don't try to step on everyone's hopes just because you don't want the character. You're completely free to express the fact that you don't want the character for your own reasons. It's up to the other people to try and convince you otherwise.

I say hold on to your hopes. There's nothing wrong with having a lot of it. I just say that if you can prepare to be hopeful, you can prepare tactics to cope with disappointment as well. You should also be happy when people get a character they want, and they should do the same for you if you get the character you want.

I would also suggest that you don't lash out at Nintendo for making some changes either. You should be going into this game with a curious nature, ready to take in all of the new features. Why ruin it by saying everything they change is bad? Play around with it when it comes. You may grow to like it much more than you think.
