As it stands right now, Jiggs would be the only "non-badass" Pokémon except for Pikachu. It would seem weird to have just Mewtwo, Greninja, Lucario, Charizard and then Pikachu. Am I alone in thinking that?

Snivy sounds like a Poke Ball. Maybe Zoroark is just a Trophy? He'd be a fun Poke Ball if he temporarily looks like a character, and just does their basic A combos or only A moves. Hard to program maybe, but would be neat. Similar idea to Ditto from Melee, but eh.

But man, you can't just take a stab at someone else's opinion like that.
I personally don't like Mewtwo, but if people want him back in Sm4sh then they at least have the liberty to hold that opinion!

If I had to guess, his chances are a bit stunted with the introduction of Greninja... there would just be too many Pokemon.
I'm still interested in whether or not we will see Jigglypuff resurface.

I'm not really a Pokémon fan, so the final poke-roster doesn't concern me too much... I just think Jigglypuff would add a lot more variety then Mewtwo. (still think both will be back.)

And this is where I differ.

When I look at series representation. I look at the number of roster slots, not the number of fighters. Sakurai said he considers Brawl to have 39 characters, but this is probably more from a developing stand point.

I can believe arguments for Zelda and Metroid at least though. Sheik and Zelda had separate Brawl Dojo pages after all and I believe Zamus did as well. Even though it is still a bit of a reach. But something to note is that however Charizard, Ivy, and Squirt shared the same page.

This makes me feel bad. The only reason Mewtwo got cut last time was due to development time constraints, which obviously aren't present here. I just don't understand why we can't have Lucario, Greninja, and Mewtwo all in one game.

As well as this, how much do you think Saukrai cares about series overrepresentation. It's not a situation where we could add a minor or one shot character like Tingle and Ghirahim to the Zelda roster and consider that franchise overrepped. All the Pokemon characters we've had in Smash have been not only Pokemon mascots, but also Nintendo all stars.

Sakurai should add in Mewtwo because he's cool.

I disagree with the Brawl count but i won't dwell into that topic as of today. Remember this, Mewtwo wasn't in Brawl if the likes of Mewtwo who is no longer popular can jump back into sm4sh so can Pichu. he only got into Melee cause of the movie(came out in 1998 yet still wasn't good enough to be in smash 64). Lucario replaced Mewtwo because he was the most popular pokemon of the new generation 4. We already got 2 mega evo pokemon we don't need him.

I can easily label you as a troll, all your doing is cheer leading swamp for absolutely no reason other than to cheer lead. As of now mine and everyone else opinion is mere speculation but i'm simply warning you lot not get your hopes up which is by the looks of it what you're all doing at this current time. I will take you seriously when you become more mature.

I'd...kinda like more Metal Gear characters in Smash. Even though it won't happen. Like Raiden, Big Boss, Ocelot, and The Boss. Maybe Liquid (fighting with his Hind and Rex) and Solidus.

And maybe a Kerotan and GA-KO tag team for lulz and WTF.

People talk about multiple Sonic and Megaman characters, but not much about MGS.

And Ocelot's a pretty cool guy. Spins his guns like a mofo and doesn't afraid of anything.

Some friends and I watched the Super Mario Bros. movie and it's the most balls-to-the-wall ******** thing ever. It's a "so bad it's good" movie, and it's so, so good. It has literally everything: An orphan arc, bob(hoskins)sledding, parallel universes, dinosaurs, archeological protests, goombas dancing in an elevator, a club scene, car chases, a strong independent black woman... There's a pretty small list of what this movie doesn't have. I saw it when I was kid, but I didn't appreciate just how bad it was back then.

I don't want to sound rude, and I understand your stance, but saying Mewtwo isn't popular is quite an ignorant thing to say. mew two is one of the most recognizable Pokemon ever, and he was popular enough to star in the recent Pokemon movie and get TWO mega evolutions in X and Y. No other Pokemon got that many mega evolutions besides Mewtwo. These mega evolutions also make mew two stronger than Arceus, making him the strongest Pokemon in existence.

Heck, everyone I know at school, where it's full of Cod and FPS fans, wants Mewtwo in Smash, so that's saying something right there.

Oh yeah, and Mewtwo does't need a Mega evolution as his final smash, he could use Psystrike, which is his signature move.
