With my original N64 I had the official controllers that lasted for yeasr, however as very few of the offical ones still exist, it's the aftermarket controllers which are usually cheap and poorly put together.

See, I can get that.
Most custom controllers are poorly made, especially for the 64. They've been really bad for me in the past. I still have one controller that's an original one, with 3 other friends with 4 controllers each if I need them. It's really hard to find a great controller unless it's a specially made, likely more expensive and more durable controller.

Well, it's because I don't own a Wii.
Heck, I've never owned a home console in my life (this includes not having a television since around 2011).
I've always been a portable gamer.

Now, that's not to say I haven't played home console games. I've played MKWii and Brawl (along with MKDD and Melee, though not in forever), albeit at a friend's or relative's house.
There's a reason I pop up emulators or the Dolphin, because they're my only option (well, for right now).

And, whenever I mean Smash 4 being my first Smash, I generally mean Smash 3DS.
Since it's the first game to be on a console I own.

My GameCube works fine, except sometimes it has trouble reading certain discs (which are really scratched anyway), like my Action Replay. <-- most important disc! But my Wii, on the other hand, can't read discs anymore. Not that it's a huge deal, but still, that console went before my GameCube.

I'm not a console collector, though sometime ago my father's friend did offer his N64, if I could find it in his basement, that is (he recently moved, so yeah lol). But I have my eyes on his Sega Genesis and Saturn.

I can't imagine used 64s are very expensive at this point.

Either way they're a worthwhile investment considering we're never going to be getting any of those Rare games re-released.

Yep, that shows how terrifying fangirls can truly be. It will be even worse when characters like Chrom or Isaac join the battle. It's already happening with Wii Fit Trainer and Little Mac.

I have no problem with most fanfics really, just see it as a means of creative expression. Everyone has their own tastes, including fangirls. Besides, even the most disturbing of fanfics aren't as bad as accidentally coming across hentai. My eyes were melting when that happened to me.

The problem with fanfiction art is that some people just keep posting the worst. There's a lot of fan art that don't make sense, every time I type up something on Google and check Images, there may be some interesting stuff, but the thing that always makes me regret looking it up is that there's a lot of random perverted art posted from Deviant Art. It's just wrong!

Left 4 Dead: Only a couple, not much else to note.
"L4D2 this time with an OC. Slight EllisxOC. The new survivors find a fifth survivor near Whispering Oaks and take her with them. To Nick's absolute horror, she loves Ellis's stories and encourages him to continue."
I can already tell said OC is probably a Mary Sue.
Just a hunch.

From Sonic Surprisingly only three. Mostly Ship Fics, though I did find one with hedgehogs and caffeine...

But looking at this I'd say this was the one she had in mind.

Pokemon: One thing I'll note, Pokemon tends to be the worst when it comes to Mary Sue OC fanfics (especially with the numerous "I'm a Pokemon" stories). Though looking at this, I don't see too many that give red flags. But it's not like I care too much to look into it.

If anything though, the two (and yes I do mean two, mind you I haven't even touched the horror of the Kingdom Hearts section yet) and they're just you're typical shipping and "lulz random" fics. Though I did find this:

How does Smash get ten but KH gets three?! I'm disappointed.
