Yeah it is. My first Kingdom Hearts game was Dream Drop Distance (given that I've never bought a PlayStation 2 in the past). I'm playing the 1.5 version of Kingdom Hearts on my PS3. They weren't kidding around when they've said that the first game is the hardest in the series.
It's not that hard, aside from the super bosses.
I've seen an entire walkthrough for KH2 and I slight agree with you. Most of the Organization XIII are basically Dark Riku from KH1 on steriods, especially Saiix and Xaldin. Not to mention Xemnas seems harder in this game than in Dream Drop Distance. I might get Kingdom Hearts 2.5 after I'm finished completing 1.5.

Chain of Memories is probably the hardest. Partly because your abilities are an expendable resource, and partly because the boss battles are insane.

I couldn't get into Re:Chain, I hated the combat. Real shame too because Kingdom Hearts left a serious void. I can't wait to play ReMiX 2.5 though.

It is true, I've been watching walkthroughs of every game since the Re:Chain of Memories out years ago. I couldn't get a PS2 at the time and that didn't stop me from enjoying the games' plot from YouTube. At that time, I've lost hope of buying a KH game until Dream Drop Distance came along when I've got a 3DS since launch. It was the perfect game for beginners since it explained the plot of the entire series from Kingdom Hearts to Dream Drop Distance. The series may have plots as big as Final Fantasy, but it is highly confusing if you didn't witness every title or pay attention to the cutscenes. I was so glad that Square even decided to remake the game for PS3 to make the experience special for true newcomers like myself.

Mother 3 is not tame, when you actually think about it. It deals with consumerism, the way of modern life, stealing, loss of family, loss of yourself, death, dealing with death, loss of identity, and so much more

The bottom scan was exactly what happened with J-Stars but slightly earlier. Ending with the secondary rivals plus Momotaro was a step down compared to the upper scan. 5 years for a sequel would be a long wait, but at least this game would keep us busy until then.So i was looking back at stuff for the game Jump Ultimate Stars.
Now imagine how long time Shonen Jump fans felt when these scans popped up.
Now imagine if ALL the most wanted SMASH characters, East and West, were all revealed at the same time.
Yeah. It was totally a Brawl situation also since Ken and Raoh don't have FoTNS NPCs in story mode and they have no anime artwork for Story mode. (They were last minute editions but weren't the last reveals)
You should be questioning people who want Microsoft, Sony, and non video game characters.
If you get K.O.'d while in the air after using Ultimate Air Power, you'll be unable to land and the battle can't finish. Sucks heavily during Virtual Training.
I'd love if Geno got in the game just to see so many people eat their words. Same with Ridley.
