I have to say, though, ToasterBrain's take on the avatar is the best thing I've seen today.

I lack respect for Golden because I wish to emulate him in all his glory? Honestly, it is the other way around. Regardless, his set-up is really nice.

On a different note, you've made clear you're feelings towards impersonation, however at most on the site we can have similar signatures, backgrounds and profile pics (as far as I know) so I myself don't see it so much as impersonation, and at the end of the day this is a forum not real life. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, it's not identity theft for godsakes. Now before this turns into something ugly I'd like to change the subject to Final Smashes.
I think ZSS gunship is way too strong based on the invitational tournament.

That depends on the point of view. If someone here copied my avatar, signature and/or personal details and admitted to be imitating me, I wouldn't like it regardless of whether it was a joke or not.

Of course, this is Golden's business, not mine, so it's up to him whether he minds people imitating him or not.

I just stated my opinion and I expect people to respect it as much as I respect other people's opinions (including yours). I don't like impersonation and I don't find it funny. If someone else doesn't mind being impersonated, who am I to judge?

Sorry if I came out as harsher than this probably would have warranted, but impersonation is one of those things that generally pisses me off.

I didn't know I'd strike a personal chord joking around like that. Different cultures have different values and stuff. I understand.

For me, my family impersonates different members and we find it hilarious. It's more of an American type of thing I guess. Comedians do it and even the people impersonated think its funny. I have family that makes fun of other parts of the family for things they don't even do. It's still funny. I'm not trying to justify it but giving a little perspective which you seemed to give as well. I'm sure others are giving you their fill too so sorry if this is too long.
