Maybe if I didn't get straight 8> only grades when I was younger my parents's expectations wouldn't reach Pluto.

Is it just one bad grade? I think you'll be fine. My parents had the highest expectation for me too since I used to get straight As but they stopped grounding me (well it only happened once) when they realized I'm old enough to realize the significance of my bad grades (which is because of ADHD and severe eczema distracting me from studies so I only ended up believing that grades don't matter in the long run so eh)

Even if you end up grounded things will probably go smoother than you think.

I was Mr. Perfect Grades in Elementary, Mid and High school, and all of my family had their eyes on me because of that, causing a lot of pressure.
Luckily when I turned 20 they stopped caring because that's only my business now
