Man, I'm just gonna rant about something.

No seriously, I hate the current use of the Miis in Smash. Three movesets with mostly generic moves, with some fresh ones thrown in (mostly looking at Brawler). And the cool new moves some of them got? Easily could have gone to other characters. Hell, at least two of Swordfighter's specials perfectly fit Chrom, not even including the Counter. And Samus could have easily gotten a few upgrades from Gunner.

Not only this, but with the K. Rool thing, it just shows that the Miis were basically used as a cash grab and a cop out for other characters. "Anyone could join the battle," after all. A character being stuck as a Mii costume isn't "the next best thing." It's a cop out. "Just make him or her a Mii!"

I like the concept of a Mii in the game. But the execution, in my opinion, was terrible. There should have been one Mii. It should have actually done things from its games. Tomodachi Life, Wii Sports Resort, Wii Play...hell, any of the StreetPass Mii Plaza games. A quirky style with comical animations. Man, if I made the next Smash, the changes I'd make...


So yeah that's my rant.

I see all of your points and mostly agree that Miis could have been executed better. However I won't go so far as to say they were terrible, and this is from someone who at first didn't like their inclusion to begin with.

Well I agree partially with @ Opossum Opossum saying mii costumes is a cash grab,and the miis looks more like characters without personality,but again they bring the same point from the mariokart games,being avatars,we could have that "weirdo" style on it's moveset,but again :4wiifit: took a lot of it ,I kinda think the team didn't put much thought on the implemetation of the miis,but laater used to get some advantage for them being characterless avatars, in some cases we have costumes that loks like jabs on the fanbase (inkling,kroll,chrom),but in other cases we have characters that had no way to get in(KK slider,megaman characters,Dunban,virtua fighter),so thats my opinion,with the good come the bad or vice and versa.


Side note: we could have miis on online matches,but again,hitler.

Hopefully the upgrade works out for once and stops acting like a shutdown-era Club Nintendo with all its errors. Will do that soon.™

Woke up and saw the update.

Why are people freaking out about a King K Rool costume? Looks cool, and it doesn't even deconfirm him.

Also, a Dr. Mario stage...YES!!!
