Not surprising though, this is Scott. He always releases stuff too fast(like when he had a release date for FnaF 2's demo, and then all of a sudden released the full game, lol).

Well, FNAF4 is looking to be the scariest game of the year. The atmosphere is 10x better than in the other games. Jumpscares still kill you, though.

Metal Shop X posted gameplay of it. The setting is in a kid's house. At night. With lights off.
And you have to move around the room in order to see whether or not the (freaky-looking) animatronics are gonna kill you. So yeah, you're no longer just sitting around.
The story in this game also looks a bit more interesting (though the demo doesn't show all of it). You have to watch it for yourself.
