Mine was a 16 GB one and about 2 years at most. Egh.

I bought mine last year. It was first used on my 3DS, but then I later bought a 16GB standard SD card for that purpose. The microSD card isn't being used at this time.

I'm kinda getting into FE (thanks based FE8), and I could care less about the fanservice.
My interest in Fates, as a whole, goes right into the multiplayer/Wi-Fi doors. Time to get those 2nd gen units.

DLC path is best for optimization because you get units from both paths.

Also i really need to play one day the two Fire Emblem with Ike in it. They seem the more intersting and easy for me to get into with the Death-Permanent mechanic. (I played Awakening in Casual and not in Classic mode, yeah i know, shame on myself etc etc.)

No shame in getting use to the game. I'll admit that I was worried about permadeath when I first played Sacred Stones but soft resetting and re-evaluating strategy really helps.

Try FE7, FE8 or FE9. They are the best entry points in the series, as well as agreed to be the best in the series too.

Sacred Stones is so underrated just because of the broken units. Once you choose not to grind, rely on Seth less, and only use one of the 3 super-trainees the game provides a decent challenge.

Your point? I want the older games that never got to see the light of day, internationally (*cough*Gaiden*cough*), to be reintroduced with updated visuals but the same core mechanics. None of that Pair up trash that broke Awakening.

It seems to be an all-around improvement from Awakening - story, gameplay, AND fanservice ()

Could've done without the fanservice, but eh, almost everything coming from Japan now has the weeb pandering.

I mean, I like anime, manga and Japanese video games.

But that's it! It's just that I appreciate the art styles and it's something I've been exposed to since as a kid. I've watched anime on TV as a kid, I've played Japanese games as a kid. I always found the manga/anime art style appealing.

Then, there's the weird stuff I can actually like. I mean, some of the anime/manga I've watched/read have some weird stuff going on and whatnot.

Then, there's the really weird stuff pandered to certain types of fans that are a minority, but are what turn away many other potential fans and create stereotypes I don't want to be associated with.

I don't like how JRPGs, anime, manga and other Japanese things have become associated with certain subcultures and how people can have the wrong idea about them because the authors and companies attempt to cash in on those fans.

Of course, it goes without saying that this is my opinion. I'm still getting FE Fates, but I know what are some features of the game I know that aren't for me. Fortunately, they're optional.

Easiest game with the permadeath would be sacred stones, it also has the overworld-ish map, plus two promotion routes, it's a great game to get used to the classic fire emblem games. RD is one of the hardest games (the ones that were released overseas anyways, so it's better to get a good hang of the game before trying that one -shrug-)

That's what I heard, yeah. It's sad that they need to keep the fanservice in, otherwise, the interrest of a lot of people will disappear. I know boobs can save a franchise, but it's still a little sad in a way.

Maybe I could play the old games, but if that's the case, only those ones. Not a fan of shipping and fanservice Awakening apparently added.

Yeah :/ Again, try Sacred Stones O: since it's one of the easiest games, that way you enjoy the games but don't get too frustrated with the strategy mechanics?

Those users know nothing. The story and gameplay is a big improvement compared to Awakening. It's just the MyCastle features that bring mixed opinions.

I've never had a game make me care so much about waifus in till I played awakening.

It's like playing Risk with Barbie dolls , and it works.

Seriously, I think FE Fates has more fanservice than most of the anime/manga I've watched so far.

And I've read some manga that pushed the limits. (Cough, Fairy Tail as of late, cough...)

I mean, even in Japan, the age rating is higher than the other FE games. Add that to the rumors of FE Fates being rated M by the ESRB...

At the very least, FE is more enjoyable than Zelda for me. When I play a Zelda game, I am super bored. Maybe it's Link that I don't like, and why my favorite of all the Zelda games were Wind Wake, because Link had a "personality".

Hating the medieval theme cuts a lot of games for me. Like, for example, all the MMORPG games.
Luggy is a modern a-hole who only appreciates modern stuff and not old medieval universes where magic is normal and swords are like the best weapons in the world.

Ike's pretty OP, but you can't grind in either of those games, and there aren't arenas either, SS is way easier.
