First anime I watched was Dragonball Z as a kid. Then I watched Fullmetal Alchemist. I seem to be the only one who hasn't seen Brotherhood however...

I also need to start Berserk. Looks pretty damn good, and the art looks phenomenal. Heard it takes forever for new parts to come how however...

I know a bit of French and I know how unreliable automatic translators are.

Automatic translations are subpar more often than not.
I might not be a translator, but at least I can try to give much better than these automatic one, it;s really not even hard. French to English btw, isn't that hard, sometime it might be weird to translate, but I don;t think it';s like JP to English for sure :)

I hope Cliff switches to spanish; because the one who is going to correct him hard is going to be me :troll:
I kind of want CliffJumper to post a sentence in Hindi sometime. I want an opportunity to tear it apart too. :wario:

:231:
Might as well join the fun if he tries posting in Portuguese, so I can tear him a new one. >:)

Cars 2 falls under the DreamWorks category, however.
Guy who created "Cars" : All right...so we're gonna make a sequel to my "Talking cars" idea.
Pixar : Yes.
Guy who created "Cars" : And this movie is going to be about...Red Car with his buddy who are...gonna do stuff. And there's gonna be ton of references to the real world like, hum...a Pope Mobile, and-
Pixar : I'm sorry, what ?
Guy who created "Cars" : I-I said a Pope Mo-
Pixar : Good, it's gonna sell well. ANIMATE THIS CRAP, PLEASE, WE NEED MONEY !

It was bad, just like the movie.:mario2:

If you were a fan of the first FMA, you should definitely give it a shot. People regard it as one of the best animes for legitimate reasons.

The thing about Japanese is that it has radically different grammatical rules compared to European languages like English and French.

By the way, I can do translations from Portuguese to English and vice versa without major difficulties.

Actually it was much weirder than that. In fact, I don't even remember the exact way I was assaulted. It was that weird.
But long story short, I was *****. By a girl.
..... " Hello, police"
So it's been a while since I did miiverse, and I saw that support X character thing in ssb.

How about we draw all of the roster with the dreamworks smirk?
I SUPPORT THIS

Mmm, Interesting... What events led to that happening? Or did your dream just start off by being chased?

Ranma 1/2 aired on tv where you lived?
México had a stronk anime game in the 90s
They aired Ranma on local channels, with some censorship of course; I discovered that it had boob shots until it got aired in Cartoon Network lol

I used to be such a passionate Melee defender.

So I wonder why seeing any support for it nowadays makes me go like

Well @PushDustIn told me BASICALLY how it works and what i get is how ambiguous the sentences are.

It's like, you could have different meaning and it heavily depends on the context.

Unfair, I feel like Adult Swim could've at least aired it back in 2001 since I remember the gay scene in Cowboy Bebop being uncensored as well as the brief nude scene in FLCL.

The sentences can be very ambiguous, yes.

And yes, Japanese is heavily context based, so you have to pay attention to the context of each statement, as it may not be explicit.

I always say this when we talk about animu crap, but France is the second biggest place where you can find weaboos.
Thanks to the 80's and 90's, the country is filled with it. You can find a manga club in pretty much every school that is big enough to have clubs. And we have conventions too, like "Japan Expo".

You don't know how much suffering I must endure when I see all those kids saying that "Naruto is the best manga" all the time when I go buy some random stuff. Or the dumb weaboos that are walking around in my school with fedoras or cat ears because it's "kawai".

Help me.

Well i got it with how much misinterpretation happened with Sakurai sometime they directly contradict the true meaning.

It's like when they had to use "several", it doesn;t mean more than 2, it means a "number", but not a big one.

The fact that this was said so ambiguously make me understand why they took so long to translate that.

It is actually possible to get a decent Japanese to English translation using Google. The trick is to translate the nouns, verbs and other words separately and string them together into something that makes sense.

Feeding whole sentences is hilariously disastrous, of course. :p

Naruto being the best manga is a fallacy; I don't even watch anime and know there are better ones out there. Naruto is just...
"have you ever watched it?"

maybe because your not open minded enough?:troll:
Wouldn't that be the other way around? You know, that I'm TOO open-minded to still support that long-staled dinosaur? :troll:

I admit I enjoyed Naruto.

But I can at least admit it has a lot of flaws.

Part of really liking something is admitting its flaws.
