Fat PikachuWhat's a Raichu?
obviously theres MORE than what i said, buuuuut yup.Oh. That makes more sense, then.
Yo what are we talking about today?
A house just exploded in my world. You see, in my world, coincidences cause explosions. The bigger the coincidence, the bigger the explosion.Hello thread.
What'd I miss?
He's also Black Shadow in the F-Zero anime. For shame Frosty! How can you talk about Wakamoto and not mention
I'm still here, so why not?oh by the way @ Frostwraith NOW i could play if you still wanted to, though doubt you do now.
Be sure to watch Gurren Lagann as well, which is by the same creators and equally awesome.I need to watch Kill la Kill someday. It intrigues me.
you should, its a pretty good anime. pretty unique.I need to watch Kill la Kill someday. It intrigues me.
Isnt thats how it is in the games? How come in the Pokemon anime you either barely win or get rekt there's no middle ground
Yeah but in the anime it's always because the trainer knows some uber-tactic that Ash will forget the next episode, not just brute forceIsnt thats how it is in the games?
How come in the mainstream Pokemon anime, you're main goal is not to catch them all?How come in the Pokemon anime you either barely win or get rekt there's no middle ground
Sure, but at least I know what type effectiveness is, and that evolving my Pokemon is a good thing.Isnt thats how it is in the games?
Thats where Pokemon Origins comes inSure, but at least I know what type effectiveness is
I still don't watch anime. I don't really watch any bit of television shows, to be honest.I need to watch the Kill la Kill dub. SOON™, of course.
*chanting*Pokémon Origins is what the anime should have been....
Technically I don't watch anything on TV either, other than news. Anime is watched solely through my laptop.I still don't watch anime. I don't really watch any bit of television shows, to be honest.
Technically you're watching a show that was broadcasted on television.Technically I don't watch anything on TV either, other than news. Anime is watched solely through my laptop.
I would've liked to see what happened during the time he just stood on top of the mountain for 3 years.Pokémon Origins is what the anime should have been....
But why bother with competency when we can pull a Deus Ex Machina out our ass and save everyone the trouble?*chanting*
What do we want?
Competent trainers
When do we want 'em?
Um...Thats where Pokemon Origins comes in
To be honest, Origins has pretty much the same problems as the regular anime does. It overuses one particular Pokémon over the others, ignores typing as much as it pays attention to it, has moments of "show, don't tell (actually, it's arguably worse in that regard)," and falls into the same traps of marketing. It is better from the perspective of being closer to the games, but it wasn't a huge step up from it in other areas, especially considering how much it had to stuff in for the four episode format to work.Pokémon Origins is what the anime should have been....
Don't bother. The dub voice for Satsuki is kinda bad.I need to watch the Kill la Kill dub. SOON™, of course.
I dont even know what move that isUm...
Sweet Arceus no. Four episodes isn't nearly enough to make an even half-decent anime based on a video game.Pokémon Origins is what the anime should have been....
And he still never got the girls. And Ash still remains a 10 year old after all these apparent years.
I choose to believe the narratoe was just wrong in saying that and Ash is actually 14-15And Ash still remains a 10 year old after all these apparent years.
Except when you're at the Elite Four or the ChampionBut why bother with competency when we can pull a Deus Ex Machina out our *** and save everyone the trouble?
That my friend is good storytelling.
It was one of the horn attacks IIRC, though it could've been Horn Drill.I dont even know what move that is
I personally disagree, I wouldn't say she's great, but she does a decent enough job. The rest of the dub is really good though, especially when it gets to the humor.Don't bother. The dub voice for Satsuki is kinda bad.
I still firmly believe they'll do a Mega Pikachu before Mega Raichu. Sure, it's always been the final evolution, but with all the things they do for the little rodent, I'm surprised they didn't do it sooner.Mega Raichu would probably be **** anyways.
Just give it Prankster and call it a day, Gamefreak.
Personally I don't blame Ash for that. I mean, when you're always forced to go up against conveniently overpowered Marty Stus that have as much personality as a plank of wood, why bother at that point?Except when you're at the Elite Four or the Champion
You will *always* lose and then leave and never try again
Horn Drill is normal, and Victreebel can be damaged by normal attacksIt was one of the horn attacks IIRC, though it could've been Horn Drill.
Having said that though, it later beat a Jolteon with Thunderbolt, which would be impossible unless it was horribly overleveled.
