Maybe. But looking at some of the characters that they could add again, it should be fine. Capcom's built quite a roster of characters over the years, hell, I'd say their only second to Nintendo.
I mean, from TVC, they could bring back Batsu, Alex, Roll, Soma and MM Volnutt(if Classic, X, and EXE aren't chosen).
Then you have other Darkstalkers/Street Fighter/Final Fight characters like Cammy, Raptor, Talbain, Dudley, Guile, Guy and Cody.

Ideally I would want six Street Fighter, Mega Man, and Resident Evil characters.

SF - Ryu, Ken, Chun-li, Akuma, M.Bison, Vega?
MM - Mega Man, Proto Man, Zero, Tron Bonne, Vile, Mega Man Volnutt
RE - Chris, Jill, Wesker, Leon, Nemesis T-Type, Barry?

But I don't know if that works very well...
(X is a Mega Man semi clone and Barry is a semi clone of Chris.)

I would totally buy that game as long as this guy is in it. After all, he is from one of the best manga in history and he's based on the Monkey King for crying out loud.

Assassination Classroom has a new opening today, and they reuse the animations for the characters from the first opening.

Barely won Classic on 9.0 for the 3DS with Shulk on the first try. Crazy Hand took out my first stock, but Buster helped a lot against Master Giant and Master Beast. Vision helped a lot against Master Beast and Master Edges, especially with that five strike attack Master Edges does. Dodge the first four, then down B right when the final blade has a blue glow to signal the huge strike. Played safe against Master Shadow by going to Shield mode. Thankfully, he didn't pull off any Smash attacks.

Oh I'm sure that he will have to behave himself somehow since you know all boys can't resist "da booty" or "the plot".

Besides, he would hate having to be turned into a bug or burning in a pot to be eaten by demons. As for being in The Binding of Isaac world, he's pretty screwed if he ran into the more hungry demons.

Charlie is Guile.....but better, in SF5, he has even more moves. As for Protoman, I just think Bass has more to offer, what with the Treble Boost.
