Well, for the quote on my post, a lot of British spellings are the standard in Canada. Not all, but many. I'm surprised we have two Americans in this thread who are team-u/team -re sometimes too. Awesome.

I can't spell tyre...tyre though. Just can't do it Britain. That's a spelling error, not a variant here.

Here's a weird thing Canada does, marihuana is the official spelling of the word. It's the one I'd use too but yeah, straight out of the 1950's for the US Reefer Madness.

I've been practicing a good accent for years now. While I can do a lot of them, my English one is the best due to regular usage.

Part of that has been slowly converting my spellings and such to UK standard and incorporating the slang into my speech.

I blame Rare.

It was through rare that I learned the glory of British humor and spelling.
Humor especially, Banjo-Kazooie and Conker shaped a lot of what humor I like nowadays.

For real? It's funny how the internet's obsession with bacon is starting to integrate itself more into our actual culture. At least here in the states. Because I seriously don't remember seeing all of this bacon flavored stuff when I was a little younger.

Same could be said for cats being everywhere. Even if Dogs are the better animal. And I'm not even a pet person.

Lucario is supposedly broken this time (just hearsay, don't quote me.) I'll be pleased if this indeed is the case.

I wouldn't say broken, I don't think there's any outright broken characters in this game unless something absurd is found later, but he's a really good character, way above average. I still wouldn't say he's better than Sheik though.
