Okay, so... Question.

In Fates, when you attack or are attacked, sometimes a sighing sound effect will happen and an arrow will point down over the character that was attacked.
What does that mean? Is that a new mechanic, or have I just not been paying enough attention?

Ita funny but I remember what I was doing when I saw those MiiVerse posts. I was finishing a 6th grade class on a Friday when I checked my phone while walking down the stairs to see Ike revealed. When Olimar was revealed, I drove my friend to take his new kitten to the vet. When a skimpy suit Samus was shown, I was taking my own cat to the vet. When the Super Leaf was revealed, I was drinking a cola on the side of the road after work. When Pyrosphere was announced, I was sitting at my desk at my old job and began fist pumping. When Zelda was shown, I was back in America with my girlfriend for Christmas and working up the guts to propose. When the tomodachi stage was shown really late, I was waiting for my wife to come home from work since we were going out to dinner with some friends. Little Mac was revealed the day we were officially married. When Shulk was announced, I was drinking with some buddies and instantly when berserk. When the Orbital Gate was shown, I was picking up a pizza for dinner. When Cloud was revealed, I was sitting at my desk waiting to do a demonstration lesson to my bosses. I was leaving to America the next day to attend my little sisters wedding. When Bayonetta was revealed, I was sitting in my car at a supermarket early in the morning working at a new job in a new city.

Smash 4 speculation and pre-hype took about 2 years of my life and then some and it was one hell of a ride.

Well, I ain't got much to rile up a discussion, but I started playing Nintendo Land again. Still a cute little game. I started playing it cause I'm taking a break from collecting coins in Mario Kart 8- which once I get 10,000, I'll have the gold glider. Which then would mean I'd have unlocked and beaten everything in Mario Kart 8. Anyways, I really think that the Zelda Archery mini game should be expanded upon, and have it be a short game of itself- like that Captain Toad game. It's so much fun. It's not perfect, I mean I could list some needed changes, but it's still very fun.

I'm in love with the Deadpool movie!

I have to say I like what they did with Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus especially...well, besides nerfing him so he could get pounded by 25 tonner Angel Dust. I love how they made him look more like his comic appearance.

Did anyone see this?

Only problem is we won't see human Colossus because of this method it seems.

Dark Pit was something they threw together at the end. About Shulk, you can't really compare the sole representative of a new and popular series and the third character for a series that has been largely dormant since 2006, save for a remake.

Wasn't this guy, Corrin, included as DLC to promote an upcoming game? I think it wasn't very hard to add Wolf as DLC to promote the also upcoming Star Fox Zero game. Seriously, there was literally no reason to leave Wolf out. That's just not up for debate.

Yeah there is, Sakurai decided it wasn't worth it. Besides Fire Emblem Fates was released soon after Corrin came to Smash (and was already out in Japan), Star Fox Zero isn't. Wolf also isn't as popular as the other veterans, and even in Brawl he was never a high priority character. Brawl's delay to add in Sonic was the sole reason he wasn't cut (along with Jigglypuff and Toon Link).

Time constraints. Logically speaking, if I were Sakurai and I knew that there would eventually be DLC and I had a choice between adding a one-time veteran that could be added later or adding a newcomer, I would choose the latter. It's not the choice we like, but it's the smart choice.

Now Wolf not being DLC, that is bull**** of the highest quality.
